What I think of ...

Kripa

I'm not really fond of Kripa's character. She is inconsistant and is everything she is not suppossed to be. Kripa was shown to be an innocent, sweet and proud girl. Innocent and proud girls don't slap a guy for thouching them, only to get pregnant with his child a couple of episodes later. Nice, sweet and innocent girls don't use their friends like Kripa used Prithvi. And somebody please tell her to make up her mind! Does she love Angad or not?

Angad

Angad's character, seemed to be a very balanced and promising one at the start, but soon enough the though rockstar with a white heart became a looser and from that a person with a heart full of hate. But you might forgive him for that last part, since all the things he has been through. Yet I think the serial would have been much and much beter if they hadn't changed so much about this character.

Prithvi

Well lets face it he was too good to be true. 😆 But the sudden change of this character hasn't done much good to the serial. He was already unrealistic and that jump from a goody2shoes to a shaytan made it worse. I think there was alot more potential in this character right from the start. Too bad they blew it up.

Mishty

I simply love Mishty's character. I think she is one of the best and most realistic characters in the serial. A young, beautiful, rich, confident and yet down to earth girl, who happens to find out she loves her friend once he is actually slipping away from her. Why hate her for that, while loving Julia Roberts for the same in My Best Friends Wedding? Her behaviour towards Kripa is normal and to be honest I think she suits Angad more. 😛 I like her strong personality. Unlike Kripa she doesn't cry all the time and even while she was hurt she never tried to take revenge from the people who hurt her. She truly loves Angad and he is obviously the weakest link in her life.

Dadi

I love her.😉

Damini

I loved Damini for being the lovable and understanding mother and an excellent business lady at the same time. It showed her strenght. Too bad they ruined her character . It's normal that she would be hurt and worried because of what happend to her kids, but a big change in her character from super mom to super bitch is just not done.

Naina

Started off so well and had alot of potential. Too bad this character is pushed to the backside. Excellent performance so far from the actress. 👏

Dilip

I don't think I have to spend much words on this character: LOSER. I really don't see any value that this character has for the serial. He is simply a nice dressed statue that pops up now and then. 😕

Karthik

Yet another character that had so much potential at the start of the serial and yet again got ruined. But there is still hope ...

Anitah

Just love this character and they should keep her that way. 😆

Aaliyah

Love this girl and hope she will get a bigger and more important role in the serial. They shud stop letting her disappear all the time. She could be very valuable for the serial.

Josh

Loved this character. His didn't seemed to do much in life besides organise parties and help Angad out all the time. A true and rare friend if you ask me. Could have made a nice pair with Aaliyah.😛

i think that angad's character development is the only one in kyph that the creators have paid attention to.

and you need to add one more character to this list: josh. even though he doesn't live anymore as tv-flesh-and-blood 😃 he was the sweetest of the kyph characters.

y'know? i was miserable when they killed him. but now, reading your list and analysis, i'm glad they killed the tv-flesh-and-blood rather than assassinate his tv-character like they have done poor prithvi or poorest kripa! thanks for this new perspective! 😆 -esther

I agree with you, Mishty's character is more realistic than the other, so is Damini's.

I think Damimi should get a more important role in the serial. She and Naina have been almost pushed out of the serial.

Well I like the way he cares about Mishty and Kripa. Especially his relation with Misthy was one of the best issue's in KYPH. Too bad they havent been paying much attention to their relation as bro and sis anymore. Fact is now that he is a murderer lol. They should have paid more attention to his development to a bad person. The leap was just too big, which makes it very unrealistic. 😊
