Misty you can put forth your suggestions to Sony. By the way Sony does not organise Navratri special shows and all for the entire cast to be promoted. Look at the TRP's of KYPH- Nothing that great. Sony scores because of reality shows. And showing such a complicated plot just to bring in other characters like Prithvi and Kripa will not work because the viewership of KYPH is pretty low.Angad is able to pull it off because even non KYPH viewers know by now that he is supposed to be a rockstar. And no one has any qualms with a good looking guy performing or walking the ramp. Notwithstanding what is going on in the storyline.
Kripa is anything but an inspiration to other women. There was an add featuring only Kripa when she was a strong woman. Right now she is nothing more than a weakling.

I totally agree with shirin... promotions are done to increase the market share and Sony is just taking their easy way for it.It has nothing to do with Kripa/Neha, Angad/Iqbal, nor Prithvi/Amit but only KyPH. By showing Iqbal in other shows they are trying to increase their audience. They want new audience. They are basically aiming at gal here. This is the literal maketing truth.

There you go no body has any qualms with a goodlooking guy walking trhe ramp! If they are promoting Zaib the rockstar then what is a rockstar doing walking the ramp? Since when have rockstars become models!.

Kripa isnt a weakling so stop calling her that. Just because she is shown to be a housewife doesnt make her character a weak one. I didnt like kripa sending angad to jail. but you know what it takes guts to send someone you love to jail. The non KYPH watchers know Angad/Zaib is a rockstar is because they have shown him to be one.

The example i put forth of navratri was just an example. Sony scores because of reality shows- Agreed. Well the irony of the whole thing is that Prithvi the character was in the top 11 of another reality show of Sonys! Sony would have gained much had they aired promos of him promoting Indian Idol 2, Dus ke Dus and FG.

I still believe that the characters should get more visibility if they are to be known in each and every household.

Amit was just ONE of the few finalists and got eliminated quite early. We have more popular contestants like Rahul Vaidya, Amit Sana and Qazi. So not there was not much hope of him raising TRP's.
Zaib was called a rockstar or whatever just because they had to introduce him as something. What is going on in the real story is immeterial here.
I called Kripa a weakling not because she is a housewife but because she married Prithvi like that.Did she need some male support to survive? Couldnt she stay single after sending Angad to jail? She married Prithvi and still couldn't honour her relationship with him. Thts Why I called her weak.

Your ire against sony is certainly your choice.The Zaib thing in JJKN was not exactly a washout- atleast not in India. They wanted a good looking guy and Iqbal was the one thats it.
Kripa was a strong woman when she was all set to seek revenge from Angad. But now she is a weakling- She married Prithvi and yet could not honour her relationship. That just shows how weak she has become.

anyway zaib's promo on jjkn was a washout--i saw it--he looked pretty unimpressive and rather stiff! and as for zaib's popularity in India most ppl watch star channels there---none of my realtives there had even heard of kyph or zaib/angad before i told them! 😆 😆 😆
sony is a dying channel---they cannot compete with star which is owned by Rupert Murdoch--the biggest media baron in the world---sony is fighting a losing battle---ekta signed a contract with murdoch last yr so she promotes her star serials much more than sony! kusum has ended and when kyph ends no more ekta serials on sony!i myself will switch to star when kyph ends! so sony loses out!

Alright i love music and thats the reason i started watching kyph. I started watching kyph not because the promos were caching but coz the tune of kyph was/is catching!.

Angad is a rockstar and a well known too but Nobody remembered Angad in Dubai but people remembered Kripa!. It takes guts to leave a well secured life as a singer, it takes courage to leave your career and settle down to be a housewife. Kripa had to make a choice and i respect her for the choice she made. .

Prithvis characters is a role of substance and hes doing a pretty good job with it. Like i told before, people only identify the actors with their characters and prithvi and neha have got to be shown more by way of more interviews, more promos or then showing them in other shows. Just to refresh all your memories - it was Prithvi and Kripa in Sonu nigan ka safar on sony promoting KYPH and not Angad - Kripa. Why cant they do the same thing again. I just feel that some stars are getting more coverage than others and I repeat that i would like to see and read more of other stars. This has nothing to do against the actors who are playing the respective characters.

How is Kripa a weakling now? She married Prithvi, yes. But as I said a while back that doesnt make her a weak person, it only shows how loyal she is to her friends and those she cares about. Kripa believes Angad cheated on her, so instead of weeping around and yelling to the world about how he betrayed her she chose to move on with her life. Does she love Prithvi? No. She married Prithvi because Prithvi has been the one person who has always been there for her. The one person, who in Kripa's eyes, has never betrayed her. She want to repay him for all he has done for her, and she feels that by trying to be the best wife she can be is the only way to thank Prithvi for always loving her.

Kripa tried to trust the one she loved, and that person admitted to cheating on her. Now shes trying to love the one she trusts. There is nothing weak in that.

They may have made Kripa a bit of a hypocrite but certainly not a weakling.

Kripa can never be a weakling shirin...put yourself in shirin shoes and tell me what would you have done had you been her. Agreed she did a wrong thing by sending angad to jail and not believing in him. Did Angad trust her and believe in her. Hello he refused to acknowledge the child as his own? He let Kripa burn in hell as an unwed mother! Did he accept the child as his own to the world? No he didnt? Rather he maligned her character in public though in private he accepted that the child was his own! Didnt he have the courage to announce to the world that the child was his? He was all set to marry Mishty. Angad too couldnt live up to his commitment where kripa was concerned. Had he married Mishty , I really wonder what would you call him. Did we call Angads characters weak then! No we didnt.

Its difficult for a woman to send the man she loves to jail. Angad betrayed her love not love but twice. Kripa was in a delicate situation then and rather than thinking with her mind she thought with her heart and her heart told her that angad was not loyal to her. she felt that when angad was not loyal to her he could betray his best friend too. But she did stand up for angad earlier...I agree Kripa was wrong in sending angad to jail but i certainly would call her character a weak one..

She married Prithvi because he was the one person who stood up for her and supported her when the whole world was against her. Prithvi was her pillar of strength when her parents and her best friend were against her, her love of her life had deserted her. Kripa married the guy who loved her and prithvi married the person he loved ..simple.

Kripa had dumped her careeer ages back for angad...she didnt dump her career after marriage and instead of pining for the one she loved she moved on...Singing reminds her of her painful memories with angad and she away with those painful memories she chose not to sing any more. We all do it dont we? Leave the hurtful memories somewhere deep down in our unconscious mind. She was told to sing at the dubai concert but she chose not to sing and i respect her for that. Its tyakes guts and courage to leave your career and settle down as a housewife. BTW being a housewife is a career of its own!

I have symathy for prithvis character and absolutely adore his character. Here is a guy who had lost his love not once but twice to the same guy ...what did you except him to do...leave the girl and move on in his life. Prithvi chose to fight for his love and he wanted to win his love at all cost - through hook or by crook, through love or by war!Everyone adored prithvi when he was good but everyone hates him now...why just because he chose to fight?

Hey butter promotions has nothing to do with stars .All Channels promote only the show not stars.
