As someone else has already said, this is basically promoting the actor, not the character. Let's face it. The majority of the people wath KYPH because of Iqbal Khan. I'm sure there are Neha fans around but the USP of KYPH is Iqbal. People want to see him. He's got more value in the industry and in the show as he IS what people want to see.

Sony will obviously only promote those who they know are extremely popular with the public. And tha's Iqbal. From what I've been hearing and from what I see, there's a huge craze over him. True Prithvi adn kripa play vital roles in the soap, but the show rests manily on Iqbal's shoulders. Kripa and Iqbal may have equal roles but they don't have equal value. Primarily for two reasons : Iqbal is a better and more good-looking actor and because the majority of soap-opera viewers are female.

I know some of you might not agree with me but that's the truth. KYPH is what it is mainly because of Iqbal. Majority of people started watching it because of him and are still watching it for him. I'm not saying Neha and Amit haven't contributed at all, but their market value is definitely much lower than that of Iqbal's.

True, a serial isnt a success just on the basis of one character in the show. Its my take here that the show doesnt merely survive just one character alone.

hmm. All I can say is what I already said before..Dont remember where 😳 😆 ..But Sony would have done their research and they have a whole TEAM for it..Why are we breaking our heads with 3,4 posts opened discussing about this....Is there anybody who is going to listen to us?I guess its a better idea to actually write to Sony, if at all...Its easy to say what 'they' should do..But may be for Sony its not profitable...See, we cant compare Sony and STAR...They both have their own stratagies for business...But lemme tell you, none of them is interested in increasing the Actor's popularity etc..Anything they do has only Business intentions and their won Profitability...Amit and Neha are wonderful actors, human beings etc...But may be for SONY they are not upto it to promote the channel...Dont forget, IF is not the world...IF is probably a very small percentage of the populations and like it or not, IQ is way ahead of these 2 in terms of Popularity and SONY is obviously cashing in on it..

exactly LT! misty thats a good idea. but y would sony star's bother doing it? its a business and they hav someone to promote. y bother trying to promote others? they r not interested in charity or fairness... all they care abt is the revenue collected, which they manage by promoting iqbal so for them its mission accomplished!

i am not saying they shouldn't promote neha or amit or anyone else i am just justifying what they do and well from their point of view

Snehooo, you are dot, to the point...Arre, SONY is definetly not into any charity that they are bothered about increasing Amit and Neha's market value..Why would they???They are just using IQ's market value which is already there..They did not build it, in the first place...But ya, by showing him off more, the FAN base increasing more and more now...Its always the case..Its like 'the rich gets richer'...If tomorw they find out that Amit has more fan base, they will not take a second to replace IQ with Amit...That;s how the market works, fortunately or unfortunately!

Everything said and done, I'm sure Neha and Amit will get their due soon. Sony must have realised how important Neha is to KYPH after the drop in TRP's when she was away. Anyway Amit and Neha remind me of the Hare and the Tortoise story. Slow and steady wins the race is the moral of the story. 😊

How About FAST and STEADY???That way one would win the race for sure..Right???...Hey the moral of the story changed with the changing times..Imagine the hare did not take rest in between, then it would have won hands down, right?Which means the moral is: Fast and Steady wins the race and also Never depend on just the intelligence, hardwork is just as important...

I hope the hare doesn't take rest. But the tortoises will get there eventually as well. And I'm sure everyone is working equally hard. 😃

i totally agree that everyone who is in Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai should get the equal amount of fame. But I guess that is not happening. They will soon. People will start recognizing how good of actors they are and will MAKE them come onto their show. 😛
