Ekta's new K serial to hit television shortly
The queen of telly serials, Ekta Kapoor is coming up with yet another K serial €˜Kis Rishtey Se€™.
The date for the first airing of the show has yet not been decided, but it will supercede €˜Kya Hoga Nimmo Kaa€™ on Star One and has pushed down the latter to the 10:30 slot.
Balaji boasts of a great star cast which will surely be appreciated by the viewers. Not only this, a few new and unexpected faces will be seen too.
The main protagonist of the soap will be played by Panchi Bora. I am sure you must have seen and liked her in the lead role of Ekta€™s €˜Kitni Mast hai Zindagi€™ on MTV. After a long time, we will get to see Panchi once again. The story will revolve around her as she will be the pivot of the soap.
Shabbir Ahluwalia will play one of the male leads. The production house is still looking for the second one. The €˜Remix€™ guy Karan Wahi, was offered the role for the second lead. However, he refused as he desperately needed a break after continuously doing €˜Remix€™ for Star One.
Now is the time for a surprise€the long lost bahu of Star Plus, Supriya Pilgaonkar, who was last seen dancing her way to glory in Star Ones €˜Nach Baliye€™, has been penciled for the soap too. She will be seen playing the character of Aarti.
The very good looking and dashing Ronit Roy has been roped in for the role of Inder, Aarti€™s husband. He is currently doing two Balaji shows, 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Thi' and 'Kasautii Zindagi Kay'.
The creative head of the serial, Ipshita, revealed that the story of the soap is about two families, Goinka's and Sherigill's. She added that the half the star cast has been finalized; only the actors have to be decided for the other house (Sherigill's- which belongs to the male protagonist).
Apart from these boosters, Neena Kulkarni, Aaliya, Gaurav Gupta, newcomer Roshmita, will add more spice to the show.
The shooting has not yet been started, but Ekta confirmed that it will start shortly.
With Supriya entering the Balaji camp and Panchi Bora with a comeback, the show will definitely excel all the other K serials gushing in. And if this is not enough, Ronit and Shabbir 's charm will definitely strike the chord. What say?
