Krishna did not have a "vansh" b'coz he was cursed by Gaandhari after the war...She cursed him b'coz he was the one who was responsible for the death of her 100 sons and her whole kaurav "vansh"

As godisone has written, Yudhisthir did not die. Draupadi died because she was partial towards Arjun though married to all five. Sahdev died because he was proud of his wisdom and Nakul because he was proud of his looks.
Let me write about Arjun and Bhim.
After Nakul, it was Arjun who fell down. When Bhim asked the reason, then Yudhisthir said, "Arjun had said that he would finish all our enemies in a single day. Proud of his heroism, he did not, however, accomplish that. Hence he has fallen down. He disregarded all other archerers. One desirous of prosperity should never indulge in such sentiments."
After Arjun, it was Bhim who fell down. Before dying, Bhim said, "O king, I am most dear to you and I have dropped down. For what reason have I dropped down? Tell me if you know it."

Yudhishthira said, "Thou were a great eater, and you used to boast of your strength. You never cared for the wants of others while eating. It is for that reason, O Bhim, that you have fallen down."

Ashwatthama is immortal. Yes, he is still supposed to be roaming in Himalayas. There are stories that some people have claimed to have seen him. But I am not sure how far these claims are true.

During the time of next Manu, Ashwatthama will be Ved Vyas. He will also be one of saptarshis.

Dronacharya and Drupad studied together. They were very close friends. Drupad knew that when he grew up, he would become king because he was the son of a king. He promised to Dronacharya, "When I become king, then come to me whenever you need any help."

Years passed. They grew up. Drupad became king and was, therefore, very rich. Dronacharya was very poor. He lived with his wife and their son Ashwatthama. Dronacharya and his wife were somehow able to tolerate their hunger. But they were not able to bear the hunger of their child. Dronacharya, our of self-respect, did not want to ask Drupad for any help. But he was so pained by the hunger of his child that he decided to go to Drupad.

Dronacharya went to Drupad and reminded him of their childhood friendship. Drupad did not want to consider a poor man as his friend. He made fun of Dronacharya saying that friendship happens only between equals. Dronacharya could not tolerate this insult and wanted to take revenge.

ah and by Drupad, you dont mean Drupadi's father right? so Meaning he just wanted to get respect and his self respect back and being Raj kumaro ka Guru gave a way back into the respected group?

ok..so please tell...who all are the Saptarshis? and what does Next Manu mean? Sorry I am not so knowledgable in these things...

Thank you so much for helping me out. 😊

This Drupad is Draupadi's father. Drupad made fun of Dronacharya by saying that Drupad was rich and Dronacharya was poor and friendship happened only between equals.

Later Dronacharya, on the request of Bhism Pitamah, became guru of Kauravas and Pandavas. When the education was complete, then he asked for guru dakshina (i.e. fees). In guru dakshina, the students had to make Drupad captive.
First Kauravas went but Drupad's army defeated them. Then Pandavas went. They made Drupad captive. Dronacharya took the whole of Drupad's kingdom. Then he returned half of kingdom to Drupad and said, "Now we both are kings. So, we are equal. Now, we can be friends."
Drupad agreed to become friend at that time but he felt insulted. In Mahabharat war, Drupad's son Dhrishtadyumn killed Dronacharya. Later, Ashwatthama killed Dhrishtadymn.
Will write about Manu later.

There are 4 yugas - Satya yug, Treta yug, Dwapar yug, Kali yug.
Like us, Lord Brahma also has his day time and night time.
In one day time of Brahma, there are 1000 cycles of the 4 yugas.
Also, in one day of Brahma, there are 14 Manus. Manu is guardian of the world.
Thus each Manu rules for 1000/14 = a little over 71 cycles of the 4 yugas.
Currently, we are being ruled by Manu known as Vaivasvat Manu. He is the 7th Manu and he is the son of Sun god. This means that 6 Manus have already come and gone.

In the time of each Manu, there is one Indra, 7 saptarshis, and one Ved Vyas.
The next Manu will be Savarni. He is also a son of Sun god. During his time, king Mahabali will become Indra(king of heaven). This is the same Mahabali (also called Bali) from whom Lord Vishnu (in his dwarf incarnation) asked for three steps of land.

During each Manu, there is one Ved Vyas. His job is to explain Vedas so that others gain knowledge of Vedas. Current Ved Vyas is Krishn Dwaipayan. He is the one, who fathered Dhritarashtra, Pandu and Vidur. (You may have seen about this in the Mahabharat serial).

During Savarni Manu, Ashwatthama will be Ved Vyas.
During each Manu, there are 7 sages called as saptarshis. Currently, they are Kashyapa, Atri, Vashishtha, Vishvamitra, Gautam, Jamadagni and Bhardwaj.

During Savarni Manu, the 7 sages will be Galav, Diptiman, Parashuram, Ashwatthama, Kripacharya, Rishyshring and Krishn Dwaipayan(the current Ved Vyas).
