Part 3
"Good Morning Alexander High," a voice echoed through the speakers as Adi entered the school. "Be ready to cheer your football team members as they face K.C. High in a home game tomorrow night after school," the voice continued. "Sweet," Adi murmured, " we are going to kick some major butt today," he smiled to himself and made his way to his World Religion class. There were still 10 minutes to class, so he decided to stay in the hallway to chit-chat with his friends, who were gathered in a remote corner, near the school entrance.
Bharat: What's up man?
Adi: Nothin' just a lil excited about the game tonight. We are gonna get them back for good this time. We just can't let them go like that tonight, not after happened at the last game where they butchered us.
Bharat: That's the spirit man. They are in for some a** kicking.
Before Adi could reply Samiara joined in the conversation, giving a cheeky smile to Adi.
Sam: Hey Baby!
Adi sounding a little irritated: Uh.. hi samiara
Sam: Aaaddiii, you know it's SAM not Samiara
Adi: Samiara.. you should also know its "ADITYA" –"VIKRAM ADITYA MEHRA", not Adi.
Samiara: Oh ok alright. Call me whatever.
Adi had totally lost interest in the conversation. Why did this drama queen had to intefere in all of his personal matters, conversations? So what if they were dating, he would dump her sooner or later- everyone knew that and he was pretty sure she did too. After all Vikram Aditya Mehra always loved his freedom.
--Triiingggg--
The bell had rung and Adi hurriedly jogged towards his class. He didn't want to be late again. His teacher already had a grudge against him and he didn't want it to get any worst than it already was. In the middle of his way Adi had realized that his first period class was cancelled today due to a class trip and like always he had forgotten to bring in the signed permission form. This period was a freebie for him. He could go out for a stroll or a drive perhaps. The weather was neat outside, it was raining heavily. Of course that wouldn't be neat for anyone, but Adi loved the rain.
He smiled to himself as he glanced outside. It was just so beautiful. The rain falling, drop after drop, the leaves rattling as the wind swayed through them, the dark red sky, the sound of thunder and the bright light of lightening. He simply adored it, all of it. He pushed the door open and ran his finger through his hair. God! He loved the sensation of cool wind that had just brushed against his cheeks. Before he could move any further, he saw a figure approaching towards him. For a second there he couldn't make quite make out who it was as the rain was falling too swiftly, but as the figure came closer and closer, he could tell it was a girl. To his delight and surprise, it was the same girl from the hallway. He had come to acknowledge her as the hallway girl. He had felt that she had a knack of bumping into him time and again.. He didn't quite think that she was stalking him, like most girls do, but simply around coincidently. And these coincidences were occurring far too often. He couldn't help but stare at her. She was simple, much too simple yet stylish. He had never seen her with any make up or heavy jewellery. She had a spunky dressing style and had the most beautiful eyes in the world. He could tell because he had the chance of looking into them not once but twice. They were the soft colour of honey with a hint of green. He had never seen eyes like that before - ever. They were like a void, and he could imagine himself falling into their abyss and never coming out.
Before, Adi could ponder more on her eyes, she was standing right in front of him, mumbling something in gibberish. He snapped out of his thoughts and looked down at her. She was soaking wet and shivering, her cheeks were ruby red and so were her hands. "Probably because of the cold," he blurted out involuntarily."Shit! What the heck did he just blurt out," he cursed at himself. Before making any more stupid comments, for the first time he paid attention to what she was saying. "Excuse me, could you please move?," she requested in the sweetest voice he had ever heard. If words could kill, they would have to come out of her mouth. He was dead sure about that. Adi stood there for a while absorbing in the echo of her voice and noticing her bewildered expressions. He could sense her discomfort. "Oh! Sorry," he mumbled as he moved out of her way. She hurriedly thanked him and disappeared into the dark hallway...
There guys...a bigger part. I hope u enjoy it.
