Rape within marriage was not recognised as a crime before 1992/1991, but since the case of R v. R [1992] it is recognised as a crime, well in the uk, although other countries have adopted this law, but don't know about India but i'm sure they must have. I covered this when i did Law at college! Although getting justice can be harder in countries like India where as most of you have said people believe men to be 'superior' to women and treat them like dirt! 🤢 😡

hahah..me ,my frnd n her mom were having da same discussion!!!she still thinks that it's not okay for mets to like someone when she's married!!!it wus pretty shocking to hear it!!! the argument went on for like an hr n we gave up.. u're right our parents generation still believes in pati parmeshwar kinda thing!!and dat no matter how much mistakes they make it's da wives duty to forgive them n all!!! it's pretty sad dat they think like dat but guess it's pretty normal for them!! i mean after all Parvati herself believed dat..dat's why she sent Adi away knowing well enough dat Mets liked him too rite!!!

Psawyer, of course she can talk to another man but can she love another man? Why does one needs to sleep with another man to be considered "bad?" Well hypothetically you still going with Pr being evil. But Prior to this scene imagine if Pr was a good, intelligent, businessman. Would you then support his wife's action? And yes Adi is in the equation now.
Rape isnt always about power as I have shown you in my example. Rape being ALWAYS about power sounds more western philosophy(which can be disproven) than real life just as this show isnt real life.
Liking a fictional character does not imply that you agree with what the person does or says in real life, IMHO.

yea...my mom doesn't watch dis show but if she did i know for a fact she does agree w/ dem..haha...i already know wut my grandparents think about dis issue..haha..i've had my fights w/ my mom n my aunt over my grandpa's feeling of how men are superior to women!!!and how even if we get married we have to compromise and keep our cool n so n so..ya know i mean i've got nothing against compromise..if he's gonna compromise den forsure imma do da same..if not den i don't think so!!!
