M: why did you have to bite me!!!" maithili angrily questioned adi
A: well I did something good! If you ask me!
M: oh no you didn't!!! now everyone thinks it's a love bite!!!
A: well! Good for them! Because at this rate I don't think I'm every gonna be able to give you one myself!
Maithili stuck her tongue out at Adi..
M: you and me!! Never!!!
A: darling! You and me…we're already one!
M no we aren't!!!
A: oh we're married for god's sake! Accept it!!!
M: you haven't accepted it have you!
A; yeah well…i…I have!
M: well then why do you have to stand miles apart from me and only come close to me when its absolutely necessary!!! Why do you…
She stopped when she heard what she said…
Adi cocked up his eyebrow and started advancing towards her..

M: i..uh..
A: what did you say? You want me to come close to you?
M: no..i..
Adi slid him arm round maithili's waist and pulled her close to him..
A: do you want me to come closer?
He now whispered in her ear…
Maithili swallowed and tried to move back
A; no no! you wanted to be close to me remember! Then why are you running away?
He now kissed her ear which he so cunningly bit a few hours ago…
M: i..i don't know what you're on about…just..just go away

His warm breath sent shivers down her spine..
A: is this how close you imagined me..us to be?
M: i..didn't..i …
A: I? I? I what maithili? He whispered smiling, enjoying the effects he was having on her
Maithili's eyes were closed now and her temple creased..
She looked so innocent, so defenceless and so vulnerable. He watched her squint as his grip cocooning her figure tightened. A soft smile danced on his lips as he moved his face closer to hers. Closer and closer, his forehead rested on hers. She held back her breath and waited…she didn't even know what to expect from him this time... but she hoped he wouldn't bite any part of her like the time before.
M: y…your not going to bite me..are you?
She questioned him in a barely inaudiable voice. He grined at her
A: no..he whispered
A: you like it?…me being this close to you?
He asked mischievously.
A: I'm not going to bite you…he spoke teasingly…
His stubbled cheek grazed her own and she gripped tighter on him.
Maithili tried not to smile, but he looked so cute while grinning.

The door swung open at that moment.
"oy hoy! Kya chal raha tha??" tannu questions as she enters the room
T: so didi…this is how you get the love bites….
Maithili looks flushed but manages to agrily stare at tannu as well.
Tannu grins and winks at Adi..
T: adi…tum toh chupa rustam nikle!
Adi laughs at tannu and maithili
T: waise…what was going on here?
A: nothing tannu..you know…I was asking your didi if she liked…
Maithili covered adi's mouth at this moment..
M: you are NOT to say anything! She hissed in his ear..
Adi laughed at her.
Tannu grinned and turned away.

Later that evening, Mayuri and Shikhar were downstairs with adi and maithili
S: beta…start packing…you both are going on your honeymoon!
Adi was expecting this and just nodded…maithili however showed more expression than adi..
M: dad!!! I..i don't feel well!!! Can we not go!!!
S: beta, why do I feel like you purposefully don't want to go?
A: no dad! ..i mean..she does want to go! Its just that..uh we want to stay here?
S: what??
Mayuri: shikhar!! Don't you get it!!
S: get what?
Mayuri shook her head..
May: Adi-maithili, shikhar and me are going to Delhi to attend a wedding, we'll be taking tannu and bharat along as well…
As you know, Pranay and mallishka are on their honemoon, and as soon as they come back then you two can go ok?
M: jee mamma!
Mayuri smiled and left with shikhar

M: phew!! That was close!
A: I know!! Well, at least I get a break from this natak!
M: yeah! Me too!
A: you're acting as if you were doing all the hard work!!
M; I was!! You're just a lazy pig!! A brainless one too! I came up with this idea and convinced mom to let us stay behind, and here you are praising yourself!!
A: hehe! Very funny! Adi spoke sarcastically…

Later that night: in adi-metz bedroom;
A: right! I've got the whole week planned out!
M: what??
A; you know! Mom and dad are leaving tomorrow! The whole house'll be empty!!
M: and…
A: and there will be a party everyday!!!
Maithili rolls her eyes: I was expecting that!
Adi grins…: good good! I didn't need your permission anywayz!
M: I'll be staying at MY house throughout that week! Hopefully I won't have to see your face till then!
A: oh yeah! As if!
M: mom and dad are going to the wedding too! This means my house will be empty! Joy oh joy!! I'll have a bed and blanket all to my own from tomorrow onwards!!!
Maithili smiled and got on the bed..
Adi grumbled something and switched off the light

YAH!im da first 1!ny ways- that was a fantastic update!methali refused 2 go on da honeymoon 😭 😭 o well, mayb in da future she will go.do con asap. 👏
