Chapter 25

Adi flops down on his bed..

A: home sweet home…bed sweet bed…he says kissing the pillow..

A: you don't know what torture I had to face with the witch!! I had to sleep on the sofa!! I missed you darling bed!!!

Adi heard laughs and peeped out the balcony

Maithili stood there laughing..

M: you…you!! (Laughs) I can't believe you!!

Adi slams the window shut in frustration

Mayuri comes into adi's room…

M: beta…how is the location..

A: mom its perfect!! Just brilliant!

Mayuri sighs. we've decided not to have the wedding there

A: WHAT!!!!!!! You're telling me, that I've spent two days with that dragon witch lady from next door, fought thugs and slept on the sofa just to realize that the wedding's not happening there!?!?!?

Adi is in absolute anger and mayuri looks guiltily at him

M: beta…

A: mom I know!!!! Bharat must have given you this plan right!!!!

M: beta woh..

A: bharat's gonna die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Adi went out of his room and began hunting for bharat…

Adi entered Bajaj house to find the whole house being decorated..

A: chchu..???

P: oh! adi!! The mehendi and sangeet are tonight!

A: oh! Ok chachu…should I help out???

S: no beta!! Aaj se tum ladke wale ho! And ladke waale don't help ladki waale!

Adi smiled and hugged Shruti!

A: main kaha ladke wale ke taraf se hoon??? Hoon toh main aap hi ka beta!

Shruti smiled and hugged him back…

"you don't need to help!!!"

Maithili said coming form behind holding a basket of flowers

M: I'm here! Besides…shouldn't you be going to the bank…to draw cash!!

A: for what??

M: to give it to me tonight!!

A: what?? Why???

M: because adi…according to tradition, the sister of the bride steals the groom's shoes, I will obviously steal Pranay's chappal and to retrieve it back, you have to pay me!

A: as if!!!

M: so you're challenging me???

A: yeah right!…I don't need to challenge you!

M: you're afraid!

A; fine!! I challenge you!!! whoever wins will…will get the money…and…and..

M: and will score a victory over the other…one final time!

A: well then maithili…be prepared to stuff cotton wool in you're ears every time I'm near you, because I won't stop bragging about how I won and YOU LOST!!!

M: we'll see…

A: we will…
