Hey Guys! Just thought i would share my views!

Since the serial has taken its 20 year leap do u not think it has lost it 'family drama' status??

It has become another K Street Pali Hill!

No more Sati Savitri Parvati anymore but Janki in her new avatar.

There is no more Parvati - the woman who respected her elders and looked after her family.

Now it is always Parvati the JAASOOS!

I used to like it because this serial and i do still watch it but it has lost that appeal i think now.

What do u guys think?

I agree with nadu_796. It's become more like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu thi. I used to be in LOVE with that show now I HATE it. I'm only watching it so far because of Jatin Shah. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Well I totally agree, the show has lost its charm and the charisma it once had in the glorious eps before this current leap. Every character was well defined, had ample of importance and more importantly was connected to the story. I guess what is missing big time now is the 'Agarwal household story', the current track is not about the agarwals, due to practically everyone being sidelined. The previous eps were portrayed in pure simplicity, a story about a household, where members within the house had struggles, issues etc... which a normal house could identify with.

It has always been a story of the Agarwals nowadays, we hardly see shruti, Kamal comes and goes, the oldies are completely sidelined (and conveniently only used to suspect Paro), Gunn a character which used to play a vital part has been ruined. These characters were the life of the show including Paro, all these characters interweaved each other, which made a complete family, and a show just reflected the title.

Nowadays, its nothing but a horror show, with no idea where the storyline is heading towards. I don't think kahaani will get the magnetism it once had. Progression in the storyline is fine, but the basic qualities of the show should have been carried on, which they fail to have done.

Well i find it more intresting.. We have many serials on the lines of Kyunki where the women just respect the elders and cry... KGGK is still intresting in comparision and i really like the way Jhanki Devi has cum out.. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Well, in my opinion, Kahaani still rocks, touchwood. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ I totally agree with u on the fact that it has deviated slightly from its original storyline of only the family, but not totally away... the focus is always the Agarwal family... ๐Ÿ˜ƒ but that I think has been a very refreshing change... ๐Ÿ˜ƒ esp coz this gave us Janki who absolutely rocks. ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ The Janki vs. Trashna track post leap has been one of Kahaani's best tracks to date, in my opinion. ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ I agree, the current story line is a bit odd, but that's coz they are trying to build the focus on the new gen... and the new gen is not as good as the old gens and can't carry the show on their own as is evident from the last 2 episodes... As for the older characters... ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Well, they were focussing so much on Shruti and she was such an important character... ๐Ÿ˜ƒ but Tina walked out just when the baby swap track came around... so they had to rush it up and show it as fast as they did... yeah, miss Kamal a lot ๐Ÿ˜ญ and wish they would show more of him ๐Ÿ˜ณ and also focus more on Gunn and bring her back as a more prominent character into the story. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ As for among the really old characters... ๐Ÿ˜‰ I'd like it if Pallavi came back into Kahaani... ๐Ÿ˜ณ she rocked. Always loved the Parvati-Pallavi scenes, they rocked. ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ Other than that, well if a show has to move on, new characters have to come in. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ But yeah, Kahaani still revolves around the family... in the sense, Parvati still does everything only for the Agarwal family. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ The elders... well, what track could we possibly have with them now??? They have shown it all... the good elders in the old days, ๐Ÿ˜ƒ the bad elders when they turned against Parvati... ๐Ÿ˜‰ today, they just show enough of them to keep them in focus... ๐Ÿ˜ƒ yeah, they could show them a bit more maybe... ๐Ÿ˜ƒ but as I'd said once before, I prefer Kahaani's passive, sensible elders ๐Ÿ˜ƒ to say, Baa of Kyunki... who only gives long speeches and suspects Tulsi of something or the other now and again... pls no offence to Baa fans, this is only my opinion... for me honestly... Kahaani has to revolve only and only around Parvati... ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ as long as that keeps on happening and they show good, strong storylines revolving around Parvati like they have shown post leap, Kahaani will keep rocking, touchwood. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Also, among the new characters... ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Narayanidevi, Suyash, Ashu, Trashna and Rajeshwari are absolutely rocking characters ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ and really all of them are played by simply awesome actors... ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ it is the new gen which needs to pick itself up... ๐Ÿ˜‰ none of the actors in the new gen are bad... but to keep their storylines interesting, it needs Parvati, I have absolutely no doubt about that... ๐Ÿ˜ƒ actually wouldn't mind if they didn't focus at all on the new gen... ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† and concentrated on getting back a few older characters... ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Gunn being prominent again, ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Pallavi returning... ๐Ÿ˜ณ maybe Nikhil coming back... ๐Ÿ˜‰ But all in all for me, Saakshi is Kahaani, touchwood. ๐Ÿ˜ณ Currently, she is being brilliantly supported by Anoop, Aroonaji, Meeta, Kiran and Ali... ๐Ÿ˜ƒ for me, Kahaani rocks... ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘

Wow winner_13 I agree with what you said! ๐Ÿ˜‰ And also people stop blaming Kyunki as it is picking up again I'm starting to find it really good and it revolves around the Virani house entirely. But I do miss the Kahaani which is all about the Ghar and Parivaar. I miss all the old characters, its a shame nearly all of them have gone just like Kyunki but if a few came back, like in Kyunki, Prajakta and Daksha came back. I really wish Shilpa, Gaurav, Preeti, Neeraj, Mathali, Chayya Pallavi, Shruti, Monalika etc. I really miss the old chars! But, I still like the current storyline! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Well, yes i would say that its not the same as it used to be, I mean I definetly used to have more fun watching it before the leap and all, but I wouldn't say that this story line is bad or anything, but just a change. I mean it was very nice to watch it when Paro was turned into Janki, b/c we had suspense on how the ppl of the house will react when they find out that Janki is Paro, but now that they have found out, the whole story has changed. But I wouldnt loose my interest in it, cuz you know Ekta Mai, she'll come up with some other good story...
