You said it right, no matter how successful a woman is she adjusts the most. A girl is groomed from her teens to be perfect in her kitchen, the degree is only to get her married into an educated family, if she's 30 and single then that's entirely different issue.

Sona needs to stand up for herself, Ro is verrrrrrry understanding but this is something Sonakshi's should do.

For us it's not kitchen when married ..we have lot of freedom in pursuing career and no adjustments ..just from only gal side

Both boy and gal will adjust if there's no help from in-laws

Like my friend couple usa both software ..they don't have in-laws ..little kids both take rotation wise 3 day work from home

Another couple usa ..she is doc . She can't take work from home .the guy shifted in to a complete work from home job ..ignoring pay hike

I dont support sona's decision but these lines are pure gold . Rohit sona scene was mindblowing ...right from the beginning..otherwise conversations start after the "mauka nahi mila ka result " , so here is the mauka, pls talk ! Wonderful! The dialogue writer and the screenplay writer deserves a standing ovation ..sona isnt quitting , she may find a better career option..the biggest hitch is that she isnt doing this because she wants to, but bec her in laws have a problem..things can be adjusted and with time , they settle down too...sonas decision is wrong on every level ..I just hope something happens n she goes back on her decisions..this is really stupid ..

Yes, inspite of having such a supportive husband who doesnt care what his father thinks or says, she still wants to take this huge step. That makes her mahaan, stupid, a people pleaser or all 3. I think she is a people pleaser who craves love and acceptance of everyone. That is a recipe for disaster as she will go thru life altering and shaping herself to please the whims and fancies of different people.
