This thing has been in my mind since the church scene but I just kept it to myself. Now, I'm going to be brave and voice out my unpopular opinion.

The night when Sona is asked to leave KPK and Rohit goes looking for her, Sona takes out all her anger and frustration on Rohit. She even asks him to go away and leave her alone and that not everything will be according to how he wants everytime. Rohit was taken aback for a moment but then he stayed there and consoled her.

We all understood Sona then and nobody was angry at her for shouting at Rohit, for two reasons, I think:

1. We were able to sympathise with Sona's pain and anger at being asked to leave her show. Something very important to her was taken away from her.

2. The conflict was resolved in the same episode. The episode didn't end with Rohit's shocked expression. In fact, we saw him consoling her and that took away the focus away from Sona's diatribe.

Coming to church scene and Rohit shouting at Sona before that, Rohit had a sudden realization that he forgot something which was very important to him. Like you'd mentioned in one of your previous posts, he didn't want to shout at Sona. Her unintentionally bringing up the fake bf gf thing caused him to pour out all his frustration. He did acknowledge later that it was his guilt which was making him lash out at people.

Now, I am not saying what Rohit did is justified. It did hurt Sona. But I just feel like we have been dreading Raima entering in their lives so much that we ourselves become super sensitive whenever she's mentioned. We end up blaming Rohit more than he deserves, whenever Raima is in the picture.

We are all dreading Sona's potential heartbreak, but I'm sort of feeling sorry for Rohit also. He found somebody he can connect with after four years and is finally thinking of moving on, and Raima is just waiting by the door to force him into another guilt trip.

I don't think that Rohit, Sona or even Raima are responsible for all this. This is just an unfortunate situation.

Like you said, hope the makers know that there is more than one way to handle this situation with the awesome characters they have created.

In my mind this track was bound to happen since day 1 of the show and I'm still trusting the makers to handle this track gracefully, given how they must have planned it with the original concept of the show. 🤞

YES! YOU SAID IT!! I actually put aside my laptop to read this! I absolutely agree with each and every word you wrote 👏 I honestly feel bad for both Rohit and Sonakshi! Neither of them deserve it! Same goes for Raima! Thank you so much for this comment! Despite all the negativity, we are all trying to find some hope for the upcoming track! Honestly this deserve to be its own post! Please keep sharing your opinions! I totally agree with you on each and every point you have written!! 👏

Thank you! Honestly, I've invested so much in an ITV show after such a long time that I sort of don't want it losing direction so soon. And I really hope that it doesn't, given the makers have given us an impression that they know what they are doing till now.

I'm going to enjoy it till the makers don't want us to anymore. So holding on to positivity until something dreadful is actually shown. 😉

If Rohit breaks sona’s Heart ... then I really pray that they should show logic in the storyline and show Sonakshi moving on with new (handsome and caring)character...

and Show all the scenes with Rohit that they showed today (friend, baby shower, mama & death scene 😂😂😂)

I think you are comparing apples to oranges here.

When Sona was cut from the show, she didn't call him, he is the one that went looking for her when she wanted space from everyone. For someone to be upset or angry in that moment is very understandable. She didn't blame him for anything. Even though it was because of her desire to help his family that she was in that predicament. Asking someone to go away and leave them alone is reasonable behaviour in my view. In fact, I felt Sona's words were apt that Rohit can't expect everything to always go his way. If she wants some space and distance that's her choice, he needs to respect that.

In Rohit's scenario, he is the one that begged (frankly emotionally blackmailed) Sona to be his fake gf despite knowing how awkward it would be for her. She had to do a lot of work for his benefit. Secondly he had just found out that she helped his family by putting her life and livelihood on the line. Thirdly, this is coming after a period where he blamed Sona and caused her mother's heart attack for which he is yet to apologize. For him to take out anger at Sona for even a second because he forgot Raima's birthday and accidentally dialled Sona's number is the height of ungratefulness and disrespect.

Part of the reason people are concerned for Sona is because Rohit is known to be quite impulsive and reactionary without thinking of how his actions affect others. When he in a conflicted emotional state, his emotions seem to take precedence. He does what he wants and doesn't take other people's feelings into account.

You are underestimating the hurt caused by harsh words said in hasty anger. If it happens again & again it can wear down the self-esteem of the victim & make her insecure.

It doesn’t matter that he didn’t mean them. The victim starts fearing the angry words & shielding herself from the hurt by walking on eggshells around the man so as to not agitate him. She is eventually reduced to a shadow of herself.

It is a commonly observed pattern among couples where the man takes out his stress by scolding (or to stretch the same logic, beating) the wife. The wife becomes a quiet pleaser.

I want to be positive about Rohit. In fact he is one of the reasons of my attachment to the show. That said, we know how emotional and irrational he becomes when it comes to Raima. So can we expect rationale from his side this time when at least Raima his so-called special love would be pittied against Sona his true love? Writers have cleverly brought Raima back at a point where Rohit is still not sure about his feelings and would continue to be in a dilemma. Can he sort out his feelings without any Ajit telling him that you would die alone? I want a resolute, conviction from Rohit regarding Sona and I hope Raima brings that. 🤞

I disagree slightly. I think Sona shouting at Rohit in her upset WHEN HE LOCKED HER IN THE TRUNK OF HIS CAR 😳 has a direct parallel to an incident hag happened a few weeks ago in the serial - the day Sona shocked Rohit out of his self pity bout in the hospital. Both were incident where the hurt was caused to shock someone out of lethargy/self pity and the shouting was a reaction to the method used.

What I dislike about the church incident and the fashion show was that in both Rohit behaves hot headed and anything and everything he knows about Sona just flows out of his head. I this such typical “hero” behaviour and I wish they would stop using it in KTKH. In real life as we get to know someone our trust toward them gets embedded in our brain and out first instinct is to trust them. When that is not our first instinct then it means we don’t really know them or we are irrational.

So nicely put. Exactly. The first sign of knowing well & liking a person is that in an unusual situation your first instinct is to trust them, not yell at them.
