Just recapping all that has happened between these 2 since day one.

Makeup bole toh Shashank has a LONG way to go to even do 10%of what appu has done for his family.

Arshi/Jolly, translation for you: From what I could understand, there wasn't anything revealing at all in the whole interview about the upcoming track other than that they will be celebrating...

It seemed more like about what's happening off screen: does she like getting dressed, her relationship with Sumi/Prachi off screen, how Tanvi is the youngest on set so she is the most pampered, etc...

Guess we will get to see the festival celebration near the end of the week then?

I agree that Appu did a lot for the family and did a lot of adjustments after marriage as well and Shashank hasn't done anything like that.

However, we can't disregard the fact that he has also had to make a lot of adjustments that he never dreamed of before. Having to marry a girl who he doesn't like (at least to him) with her stupid clause of boyfriend, who is also extremely childish and immature, who hasn't even completed basic education (it's not a matter of pride but necessity in today's world), and having to bear all her tantrums and every time she either directly or indirectly or even jovially insults him in front of everyone, even outsiders during the wedding when she had to introduce him, not to mention the chaos she creates at his office before and after marriage (fault wasn't hers totally for the situation, but she was at fault for the way she speaks). He's had to adjust to all of this too, with a girl completely opposite to his expectations. Looking at his family, he expected his wife to also be educated and traditional, not regressive but traditional meaning basic respect for husband and being able to help around the house with the other ladies, that kind of stuff that everyone (male or female) should do nowadays. Instead, his wife ended up being Appu who is opposite to everything he expected.

Deserve and doesn't deserve is a diff topic altogether. Realistically speaking, a spoiled, immature girl like Appu also doesn't deserve a mature, sorted guy like Shashank either. And a strict guy like Shashank who doesn't truly understand emotions doesn't deserve a jovial girl like Appu who is purely emotional. But that's the whole story right? How they end up becoming the person each other deserves and needs!

I'm not supporting him. I'm actually neither Team Appu nor Team Shashank. To me, Jo galat hai woh galat hai, and jo sahi hai they deserve to be recognized, regardless who it is.

I already said she's spoilt and childish at the start. Yeh 2 usko behaviour k issues hai hi. And she gets criticized properly for that. Mostly by him.

Shashank still hasn't changed anything about his lifestyle or behaviour, na. Usko koi tokta bhi nahi zyada, even his own mother is subtle while talking about it.

They both were forced to get married right. But zyada adjust aur zyada contribute uss relationship me appu ne hi Kiya hai.

Appu ko Shashank kya, kisi se bhi shaadi nahi karni thi.

My topic itself was who deserves a husband like Shashank, who NEVER speaks nicely Even with his own family members. Yaad bhi nahi kabhi sweetly kisi se baat ki hai.

Writers need to humanize him a bit.

Boht serious nerds dekhe hai life me apne. Arrogance, attitude sab hai. But Aisa narcissistic personality nahi hai.

Babin had his god complex issue, yet he was sweet. Maybe it's the actor who brought it in his performance.

Shashank is losing whatever little feeling i had for him episode by episode. Even here some members have left cos they're losing interest in TR.

Shashank khudko redeem karega toh nahi, ab it's upto the writers and showrunners to redeem themselves now.

Yes that episode was the first time we see these two having a civil conversation. I think he was surprised the entire episode with Appu acting and talking so maturely..and also calling him yaar and baada!

At the end he was even laughing when she was going on about all the things she would do after the year was up! 😆
