Before filling the request of "music_girl", I will make my analysis on Anubav. I prefer to show him in a light before putting him under the light of Gungun...
As you know, I am "team" Anubav. I give him the benefit of the doubt until the end... !
As a person (Cynthia ^^) I'm quite rational and logical, I don't touch emotions at all, I can understand Anubav's character quite well. Well, except when he's being a jerk and letting anger blind him, but even then, I think it's because he's never learned to read people that he lets his emotions get the better of him... when it comes to Gungun.
I didn't watch all the early episodes, let's say I skimmed some days, but I saw enough to get the idea... as you saw with my other reviews.
Let's start.
It is often said that scientists only work with facts and evidence. This is the case with Anubav, he has a family, he has been given values, but he needs to be told the "why and wherefore" when it comes to feeling.
He has made his plans, he has a line to follow, and for him some things do not fit.
- He doesn't find any use for a woman in his life... Because he is self-sufficient. And then there is a big family, if he needs something, he just has to ask someone. They're happy to do it... so why 'tie yourself down'?
- Love... For him it's just the company of his family. And even so, he puts some distance between himself and them, because he didn't really "identify" with them.
- Leisure, pleasure? He doesn't know... His work is his world. He finds pleasure in what he does. Leisure, his family is already entertaining enough.
- Responsibility! This is the summary of the "being" that Anubav is. He has a sense of responsibility.
Anubav has made his life a succession of responsibilities.
- To his family
- To his work
But where is he in all this? Who is he? It's simple! He is the master of his life!
Unlike Gungun, Anubav is an actor of his life, he knows how to say no, he argues, because he has a good sense of things. He has certainly the attachment for his family, he grew up surrounded, so it might be complicated for him to cut the links, and to disappoint them... But if ever he is put in a situation where he has to leave them, I am sure he will do it, he will listen to his reason and turn his back easily...
He seems to be mature, I wouldn't say it's due to the trials of life, but by the sense of discernment. Because sometimes his intelligence goes to waste with his common sense...
He got angry with Maya because of the humiliation she caused his family, but in all of this, his discernment went to waste and he brought Gungun into it...
Anger.... I wouldn't say it's a weak point, but let's say, he wasn't used to feelings (because he already had a routine with his family, he knows what to expect from them), and all of a sudden a whole other universe came in front of him, too many colours, too many people, too many things to decipher and... comes the breakup...
Afterwards, he let himself be carried away by events, I'm not going to defend this story of marriage with Gungun and then with Akriti. This man is just lost in a spiral of what to do, who to follow, who is right, who is wrong... Does he even believe in fate?!
We talked about promises. He made promises to everyone. But as I said above, Anubav is master of his life. He will adapt to every situation that comes his way, because that's how a logical brain works. We look for solutions.
Yes, we don't see the result quickly, but he has to look for a way that he is not damaged, because the woman of his life has just lost her father, because his family thinks that he married Akriti so she is his "wife". In all this, his reason, his heart, his responsibilities, his common sense, everything is turned upside down. A person who is not used to feelings, he is up to his elbows in everything...
So he has to adjust the angles, he promised BP (whom I curse appropriately...🤬) not to see Gungun again, but in all honesty what would you have done in his place? Knowing that in your head you know you have a responsibility to your family? It's only for a few hours, he's keeping everyone happy so he can breathe!
You can't expect Anubav to just throw it all away all of a sudden. Tells BP and his family, "I may have married Akriti, but in truth she is Gungun my first wife, the only one I consider my wife." Without expecting that half of them do not pass the soul to the left 😆 or a tsunami to sweep through the K-house...
We can disagree, judge him on our feelings, but he sees things from another angle and above all he stands up for his principles. I said it in the topic "While fasting...Hunger...", Anubav was a fasting man, he spent his life hungry, without even knowing it and when the door of the restaurant was opened to him, the first dish that was put in front of him was the only one that he would eat all his life....
You followed me... The dish is Gungun... The restaurant is K House... Anyway, I'll stop with my bad puns lol...
And Gungun in all this? (This will be for the topic promised to music_girl) so I won't go into detail about their relationship.
So for me Anubav is the most sensible character after Dr. in the show. No matter how bad his choices are, no matter how angry he is (which makes him blind). He is the one who will always fall on his feet. He may be influenced, but strangely enough, he will turn the situation to his advantage (writers, if you go through with this, don't make him dumber than he already is...).
Here, breathe, don't throw a tomato at me, like I said, I'm not going to talk about his choices between Gungun and Akriti, so thank you, don't take me out he's "unfaithful" to me, he's not. If he had shown even an ounce of feeling for Akriti you could have said he is unfaithful. From the beginning he has said over and over again that Gungun is his wife.
When he talked about his reason, he was talking about responsibility to his family who put Akriti in his arms, yes he acknowledged that he married her, but he never called her "his wife" as one would like to believe. It is Gungun who reminds him every time "Akriti is your wife...".
The man needs time and support, not pressure...
That was ReadLo at your service...lol...😉
