Anubav is a complex character and not at all.

According to me Anubhav though a scientist in real life is very immature. Recently rewatched some old episodes and all his interactions with Gungun will show you the child hidden inside him. Though he explained it as he is older and wiser he should teach her. Which I found breaching her privacy. But he did it with Gungun only because somehow she attracted her from the beginning. I think his subconscious mind saw the freedom he wanted from the K family.

Gungun said next year she will top her exams and then they will annul the marriage. Anubhav believed that it’s easy to become topper after failing in the exam? Or his subconscious mind never wanted to annul the marriage?

It was so cute when he was excited saying “I am the first one to wish her on her birthday, I wished her before her family did”. Isn’t he a kid?

Everything he did in and after the pre-wedding party told me Anubhav’s immaturity only.

His love for Gungun is true, he never cared about Aakriti. Even when he praised Akriti or agreed to marry her- it was his broken heart, couldn’t take firm decision.

“Anubhav should tell everyone the truth otherwise he is spineless”- I think this is not true, because every time he wanted to tell this Gungun stopped him. But I also think he should have a proper conversation with Gungun that they should have a plan, no matter how much Gungun is worried about him his family or Aakriti this is NOT a solution. He should be able to make her understand, give her hope that no matter what happens I am ready to deal with the consequences.

But I think they are not getting that time.
I know many of us in this forum wants Anugun to SOLVE the so called problem then have this cute hubby wify life. The reason is in ITV we are used to watching Hero Heroine spending hubby wify life after 2-3 years of marriage, after getting rid of all the problems. Which is soooo unrealistic.

Anubhav is immature but he is cute, sweet. He needs time and definitely needs to GROW UP. Because Akriti BP RV Maya they don’t care about Anugun’s innocence.

You mean if GG don't come out saying ILU to him, he will carry on his wedding with akriti? For me GG was never question what she wants, but it was what anu wants. Is it not cheating to akriti?

Also, I will not forget what all he said to GG. That is not gentleman manners. I don't think this anu will come ever near to Dr. Ridesh. All I can see anu is one proud and egoistic man. Also I don't know anu really loves GG or not. It might be infatuation and he might be using his godly image and enjoying GG😆

You have written the character's graph in a way that the show never did.

Anubhav has never lived his life till the moment GG showed up and as he started to feel more about her than just an agreement, he went into panic, cause he has never experienced a passionate love, just love out of family's responsibilities.

Like someone said here, almost all people in the family had arranged marriages, so to them was just filling a responsibility, they don't know what means to be so in love to do crazy things.

It was also crazy for him to marry Akriti, cause screaming out aloud that he loved GG would have brought to despair to the family that got humiliated. He didn't want to accept those feelings but he went again crazy when Ranvijay called him to announce his marriage with GG.

Even now he's crazy, pragmatically he knows that a solution has to be taken, probably he isn't scared of the consequences but as someone that for 30 years has lived in such a closeness with the family, is thinking how he can fit everyone into his life's picture.

Unfortunately all these are aspects that we as audience had to figure out, cause the details about the character are blurred and mostly all he does it's flip. This is also cause we watch eps daily, those who are binge watching might have a different prospective about the story.

He has too many lives at stake... Anubav, Gungun, Akriti, the K family...

So Anubav felt obliged to say that it is up to Gungun to see what she wants. He's not going to put her in an awkward position! While she is grieving...! Plus I remind you Gungun made a big deal (supposedly to protect him)...

I may never blame Anubav.

Because when it comes to Gungun, he is nothing...

In all honesty would you like a decision to be taken for your life without your consent?

Yes I want Anubav to stop always taking a step back when Gungun begs him not to say anything.

But I remind you that Gungun has no support. His father is dead... So he won't be the one to calm the storm and Maya will just add fuel to the fire...

So no matter what Anubav does in future, I will always see what he is hiding behind and I will never judge what they want to show us. And I do the same for Gungun.

If he don't want disclose about GG without GG consent is f9. But he can exit from Marriage with akriti. He cannot cheat prrson however that person is. He will continue marriage without love? He can divorce n live alone and wait till GG gives signal.

But now GG clearly said she wants to b with him so irrespective of GG stopping him, he can breakup with akriti.

Also now he already crossed family drawn lines. He cannot look back now. He will look so stupid in future he don't disclose his relationship when spent days n nights with GG. It's unfair to GG n his family. He need to man up n disclose everything.

From the earlier scenes when Gg was planning to move with Maya to US

it Felt like rkc was his backup plan.

If GG denies him, he would stay with akriti and accept fate. 🤡
