I kind of feel apu left for the very same reasons...the show wasnt worth so much controversy to both these actors...plus they dint seem covinced with the new track...

Maybe they both discussed it out and both opted out !!

Exactly Mala, and for Surveen to give up a lead role, which means there were really let down by what they were given to understand ! Apu, too is quiet selective in his roles and for both of them to take up Kajjal and then take a step to quit, really speaks volumes of the makers !

If these makers couldn't do justice to such a powerful lead pair and character actors, what better can you expect from them with such a crappy storyline and new faces !!
