i wonder why you guys always forget to mention 'pyaar koi khel nahin' starrng Apoorva and Mahima as the main lead and Sunny Deol as a side hero. it was a good movie by Apu.
and yes i don't exactly remember 'hum ho gaye aap ke'. I think it had Fardeen Khaan, so Apu was also there? i must watch it again then.
Qusumji,
actually i haven't seen 'Pyar Koi Khel Nahin' so far and that's why i didn't mention. I know that he had acted in that movie and another movie called 'Kasoor' and 'Krodh' and all. đ
But i recently saw 'Hum Ho Gaye Aap Ke' and he did full justice to the character he portrayed. He actually portrayed something really different from the characters he has portrayed so far. Mohan, the character he portrayed, is quite a spineless guy and keeps cryingđ
You really should watch it, if you get a chance, i doubled up and started laughing, the moment i saw him and his family crying together, that scene is absolutely hilarious.đ That scene made me feel so funny and even Apu and the rest of the cast, would've been laughing while shooting those scenes.đ
I did feel a bit bad for that character, because he didn't dare to marry her as his parents were against bringing a bahu into the house emptyhanded without dowry. Apu made us feel sympathy as well as a certain amount of irritation for that character.đ
He did a huge take off from that movie, when he portrayed the role of Dev who is not at all like Mohan of 'Hum Ho Gaye Aapke'. Dev is a strong and absolutely principled character and much stronger than that character which he portrayed in his movies. He is truly a versatile actor.đł
