But Raju lost in his thoughts of kajjal forgets his mobile on the couch in the living room…he goes for a bath huming a song happily….Pahua….slowly goes down, carefully in case he encounters KA….then suddenly Rajus mobile starts to ring…he slaps his head and thinks meine usse bhola tha, sambhalna…apna mobile chhod aaya…koi kaam theekh se nahin hota hai uss se…"
As he goes to pick it up he sees Ameesha come in…she stops by the mobile and frowns," sab mar gaye hai kya…kahaan hai…ye kiska mobile hai…hmmmmm" curious as the cat she picks it up…sees it is devs mobile….and a number flashes on the screen, from a pay phone….with a frown she picks the call and holds the phone to her ear, it was chameli…"arre bhootni ke….kahaan ho tum…zaanthe ho…razzuu…mein raat bhar soyee nahin…arre janam…zalle…kuch bholega ya mein hi bhakhi za rahi hoon…" Ameesha frowns darkly again…who is this girl and why is calling on Devs mobile…zaroor raaz ki baat hai she continues to listen"dekh Razzu…mein zaanthi hoon tu soon raha hai…mere saath chalakhi ki to dekhna…Haryana ki hoon, tujhe bhi maroonghi aur uss kajjal ko bhi" and the phone goes dead.
Ameesha is stunned….Kajjal…so her suspicions had been right…a evil smile comes on her face…she rings back the number…a man picks it up"excuse me bhaisaab, ye number kis jagah ka hai" the man tells her the address and ameeshas look is triumphant…"aur who ladki zisne abhi abhi phone kiya…." The man innocently replies," arre who to Chameli hai….bagal wale Daadi ki mehmaan hai…madam…aap kaun…" Ameesha cuts the call…Accha to ye baat hai…she sees karan…and grabs his arm…he looks at her irritated…Ameesha what is this….kissi ne dekha to…uff…I have got such a bad headache…am in a bad mood…
She drags him to a dark corner…pahua who was hiding…tentatively follows his heart in the mouth….
Ameesha tells karan what she found…Karan gives her a long suffering look…Ameesha…tumhare shakh ki koi seema nahin……Look if you cant find something useful to do with your time, then please let me be…and he walks off…Ameesha is not upset…she says to herself….Dekhna Karan mein is baat ke tai takh pahoonchoonghi….chameli se pata lagega ki raaz kya hai….phir mein tum he bataoongi kaajjal…mujhse takkar lene ka kya anjaam hai…..pahua puts his hand on his mouth…oh no…he waits till Ameesha is gone and goes to meet Raju….
Raju is getting dressed, a moony look on his face…he is dreaming of kajjal….Pahua slaps his hand," Tum hari wajah se sab gadbad ho gaya…us Ameesha ko chameli ke bare mein pata chal gaya hai….Abhi who ussi se milne ja rahi hai….meine kaha tha na sambhal kar rehna…."…Raju is shocked to hear what Pahua has to say…."rukh Pahua…mujhe sochne de…" but Pahua doesn't want to wait…"mein kaajjal didi ke paas jaata hoon, abhi…tum bas soch te rehna…"
pahua humpfs…."hmmm…thappad padegi tum ko agar did ko pata chala tum ne kya bewakoofi ki…." Raju follows quickly….."arre pahua…please apne didi ko mat batana/…..ki meine mobile chhodha tha…please…mere pyaare bhaiyya…"
Pahua relates the whole thing to Kaju. He doesn't tell her about Rajus gaffe, but glares at him…for which raju is grateful and folds his hands to pahua..who looks away haughtily….when kaju turns he puts away his hand quickly…She is aghast…and looks extremely worried…Ab kya karenge…ye to bahut ….gadbad ho gaya…agar chameli ne sab kuch un he bata diya to…mujhe chameli ko jakhe milna hoga….
Meanwhile Raju is admiring kajjal and thinking about their time spent together at the farmhouse…he looks at Kaju lovingly when she is not looking

Raju then jerksout of his reverie after a timely tap from pahua…and says ," nahin madam….Aisa karne ki koi zaroorat nahin…mere paas ek plan hain…"pahua has lost his faith in rajus schemes…"didi iski baat mat soonon….isne pehle se hi bahut gadbad ki hai…" Raju steps in," he-he-he….Arre aise kaise, gadbad ho jayegee…aakhir…hum kis khet ke gajjar hain," he looks satisfied at his own misaal but pahua slaps his hand," kam se kam misaal to theekh se dena…Gajjar…nahin mooli…"
Raju reteirates," job hi hain…magar mera plan…zabardast hain…"he tells them both….Kajjal is delighted…her eyes shinning like stars..she almost hugs Raju…and e takes a deep breathe…for a moment their eyes stay and she looks away confused… smiling tentatively…to aaj raat party mein….
Meanwhile Ameesha finds her way to daadis house..she moans about the grime and smells…wondering kya kya karma pad raha hai mujhe…kaise kaise logon se milna hai…hmmmmpf…
Chameli opens the door" kya hai…yahaan koi…cheez kareedna nahin hai…2 Ameesha is shocked to be mistaken for a sales girl….She puts on her most charming smile, swallowing the retort…." Aap…ek minute….please meri baat suniye….mein Singh parivaar ki hoon….aap…Dev ko jaanthi hai naan," chameli is too angry to care,2 kaun dev…mein kissi Dev…vev ko nahin jaanthi…aur tu ..kahin us nautanki khaandaan ki chatti actor lagti hai,,," but daadis ear pick up…she comes closer to listen…Ameesha tries again," dekhiye please, gussa mat hoyiye…dev ne mujhe yahaan bejha…paison ke saath..tum logon ne uski jaan jo bahciye…hum sab tumare shukr gujar hai…" chameli lets her in reluctantly,"bakho…lekin taimm…nahin hai mere paas…to jaldi.."…
Ameesha thinks…god…I will faint if I stay here any longer…its so hot and smelly in here…Arre Daadi…aap to hum he jaanti hai…hum aaye the kuch din pehle….
Daadi nods…ab yaad aaya…ye aur ek aadmi aaya tha…dev saab ke bare mein poochne…ye sach ke rahi hai…."
Chameli…frowns…,"acchaa…to phir…," she asks rudely…Ameesha knows she has to tread carefully,"Kajjal aur Dev ki shaadi hai issi mahine…ke 25th tariq…Who done chahte hai, tum sab bhi aa jaao…mein card dene aaoonghi…"chameli goes pale…
Ameesha hits the final nail by saying softly," kitne khush lag rahe the kal…dono….itne dukh sahe…kitne taqleefe….kal…dono bhi ghoomnen gaye…humare farmhouse….aur aaj laute…subah…jab tumhara phone….aaya…dev nahane gaya hua tha…."
Chameli walks slowly to the bed and sits down…she is shocked….tears re flowing down her eyes….Ameesha smiles evilly…but her voice is still gentle," mein ab jaathi hoon…chameli tum se milkar bahut khushi hui….aur haan…kuch chahiye to mujhe phone zaroor karma…ye mera card chhode jaa rahi hoon…accha daadi…"then she pauses and turns…chameli is crying softly now…"aaj raat ghar bahut badi party hai, dev ka janam din hai…zaroor aana…aur ye paise lena..warna Dev aur kaajjal ko bahut boora lagega."…..
Daadi looks worriedly at chameli…who is staring in the distance," poori raat…bahar rahe…ikathe…haaiiiiiii" then she breaks down…and sobs hard…."janam jalla…kalmua…naas pithe…uss bhootni ke saath kar diya na…mu kaala….mein jaanthi thi…jab kal usse dekha…mein nahin chodoongi…rangeele tujhe bhi aur us….bhootni ke kajjal ko…cheen liya mere Raju ko usne…"
"badi aayee thi Rajgani mein, rhothe dhothe…mein to tabhi samaj gayee thi daal mein kaala…haiii…she wails and beats her chest, she slumps on the floor…her hair is flowing…and she tosses her head…angrily….mar gayee re…usne mera raju cheen liya…
Ameesha who was leaning against the wall was listening…and turns her head in her usual rag doll style toh ye baat hai…raju rangeela from rajgani….hmmmmm….
Karan is shocked then silent on hearing the facts…he begins to think…you did very well Ameesha….abh samjha….why kaajjal looks so guilty sometimes…who jagda…wo…sab..ek natak hai….but why….does kaajjal know about us…Ameesha is in her element…she smiles wickedly…..no karan I don't think so…hum dono actually bahut bewakoof nikle karan…who to hum se bhi chaalaak hai….
Usne ye chaal challi sirf is property ke liye….aur us humshakkl ko bhi paise diye honge…tabhi toh ye ladki aayee hai paise maangne….kaajal ne socha us humshakkal ko nayantara pratap singh ka beta banakar, uss se shaadi kar ke saari property iski ho jayegee…magar aisa nahin hoga, karan…hum us kaajjal ko aisa sabak ssikhayenge…ki who kabhi bhi nahin bhoolegiii.."
Pahua steps back in horror, he quietly makes his way to raju and tells him what he heard…Raju looks very grim…Hmmmm…pahue…Kaajjal ko kuch mat batana, kamaka pareshhaan ho jayegee…
Later on as Kaju is ready for the party her heart is heavy…she merely goes thru the motions…she keeps thinking of the magical time spent with dev….
Oh Dev…when we meet again….ye judaai sahi nahin jaati…
Raju enters then…he pauses in the doorway..Kajjal sees him in the mirrow and turns…they both go still…staring at each other….emotions raging in their hearts…memory of last night fresh in their consciousnesss….Raju takes a deep breathe…
Kaju is looking beautiful as usual…in a emerald gold dress……the new jewellery stunning on her….he is wearing all black…his shirt open at the neck…Kajjal swallows and turns her back lest her eyes betray her…..he close his eyes briefly at the frustration he is feeling….then he opens them…she is staring at her toes…he looks on lovingly, longingly…thinking,"kaajjal…I love you so much…it hurts…kaise bardaast karoon is doori ko….kaise…." as if on cue she looks up and their eyes meet…

Then he gets into his raju mode….moving in front of her…."in fact…Kaajjal ji…aap to badi soni…lagti hai…wah wah….Dev paaji dekhenge to khush ho jaye" she lifts her eyes, which has tears,"ddevv…kuch khabar hai unki"…raju nods,"hmmmmmm….chithi aayee hai aayee hai chithi aayee hai…madamji…Dev paji ka love letter…lijeeye"…she wipes her tears quickly and reads the note, her hands are trembling
" I will be there tonight…same clothes as raju…but I will have a red rose on my lapel…love D" she hugs the note and Raju almost…he lifts his hands in anticipation, but drops it…slowly..she feels happier now,, her spisits lifted…she has only to wear the necklace…and I her haste…to get it around her neck it gets stuck…she struggles,2 please Raju…zara help karo….ye atak gaya hai"
Raju swallows…oh no…taking a deep breathe…he tentatively…touches her hair, and closes his eyes…she is smelling like jasmines today….their eyes meet in the mirror…sheer agony….

Karan steps in and gives Dev a hug…Hey happy birthday bro….Dev is restrained and glances at kaajal who looks away unable to bear the hypocrisy….
Dev….then smiles broadly…and calls for a waiter who is carrying drinks…Big bro…I owe you so much…you looked after my business…looked after the family….lets drink…to this…ek jam mere naam….he holds up two glasses of gleaming liquid…Karan shrugs with a smile…sounds cool…dev slips a tablet…unseen into the glass and twirls it as he moves…..here you are Karan….
Then he turns to veer ,….my bro…here one to you…then he picks up a glass for himself…and they click glasses…Arre Bhabhi aap nahin peeyengee…Ameesha lookes bemused…nahin …m..mein….Veer prompts her…cmon ameesha…it is devs birthday…its time to celebrate…pick up a glass…dev…wags a finger..hmmm…let me…he slips another tablet for her…and gives it to her….CHEERRSSS….

Kaajjal freezes…and pulls back gently…no..no dev…please…Dev…nuzzles her cheek….no one will know sab apne kamre mein hain…please kaajjal…I want to be with you,….let me …
Kaajjal…feels her own desire rise…but braces herself….taking a deep breathe….she cups his face….tearfully….look at me Dev..please….she pleads….he looks
At her wretchedly….breathing hard…dev…you are very strong man…pata hai…you have suffered more than me…longer than I have….i know how hard it is for you and also me….i want to be with you too..badly…but we musnt…..Ameesha is suspecting Raju….

He moves away breathing…heavily….goodnite kaajjal..i wont sleep…I will be thinking of you,….he disappears into the nite….kajjal turns…in sheer agony…unable to see him go…..i will send Raju…take care…kajjal…she whispers…take care…my love…
Then after a while…
Rajus voice ….whispers…."Kajjal..ji…madam…ji…mein hoon…Raju…aap theekh to ho…kaju doesn't even turn…her voice is despairing…mujhe akela chod do raju…leave me alone….am tired tonite…can we talk tomorrow…..Raju feels her pain….and sighs….
