June 8, 2010 Written Update

Jyoti brings Ritu and her daughter to meet her family. While her daughter goes off to play, Dadi asks Ritu what her husband does. She explains that they are separated and soon will divorce. Dadi says its fine, since she's still young and can remarry. Ritu says that she has no interest in remarrying someone who would never be able to accept her child as their own. Padma asks her what she would do if her husband came back. Jyoti explains that he did, but only for her child and not for her sake so she turned him down. Dadi then asks Ritu if she were to meet someone really amazing who would whole-heartedly accept her daughter, would she remarry? Before Ritu can say yes, Jyoti says she needs to show her something and drags Ritu away.

Ritu asks why she stopped her from talking and Jyoti explains that if she hadn't then her mother would start searching for grooms this moment. Padma comes there and tells Ritu to explain to Jyoti that she would consider marriage. Ritu tries her best to convince Jyoti.

In the Vashisht house, Pankaj wonders about Jyoti and decides to meet her in person to talk. (will he never give up??!!) Neelam comes there to ask abt the tijori keys. The servant interrupts with a courier, which Neelam intercepts. She opens it to find pics of her and Gautam, presumably sent by the lawyer. She tells Pankaj it's a credit card statement and leaves. Neelam turns on the stove and burns the photos, and Pankaj comes in asking abt the burning smell. Neelam tells him its nothing and she's just cooking. (couldn't u tell the difference between food and paper burning?😕)

At work the next morning Jyoti is thinking abt how Ritu said she may have remarried if she had someone like Kabir as a friend. Kabir calls her just then saying he sensed that she was thinking of him. She hurriedly hangs up on him, explaining that she's at work. Jyoti walks over to handle a fight b/w Ritu's daughter and another boy who was taunting her abt her dad. Jyoti decides to talk to the boy's mother.

After work Jyoti is arguing with a group of parents. One lady asks the principal how he can allow fatherless children in this school and asks why he is even allowing Jyoti here, who has been disowned by her husband on the grounds of being characterless. Kabir cuts in and tries defending Jyoti. Another guy says that Kabir has no right to talk as he is not involved and Jyoti tells Kabir to stop, as there is no point arguing. She tells them that she will leave this school. Ritu hears this confrontation and says sorry to Jyoti.

Jyoti continues walking on the road when Pankaj stops in front of her. (haha perfect timing pankaj!😆) He gets out of his car and at once starts begging Jyoti to come back, since it was all Brij's fault and not his. (this is his excuse?😕) He tells Jyoti he wants to give his name to the child and he'll make everything better. Jyoti tells him he has no right since he agreed that he would never return to claim her kid. She tells him to atleast be faithful to his current wife. Pankaj tries arguing with her and Jyoti feels dizzy. Kabir drives up and helps Jyoti into the jeep. (woohoo!👏) Pankaj is annoyed hearing Kabir's voice and says that he realizes who's been feeding Jyoti against him now.

Kabir rushes Jyoti to the hospital and tells the doctor she's in her 7^th month. The doctor tells him she may be having a premature delivery and to call her family and husband. Kabir tells the doctor that he's the husband and takes full responsibility over Jyoti and her child. Jyoti hears this!! End.

This scene was mildly funny in that Jyoti had brought Ritu over for the purpose of demonstrating to her family how one can do fine as a single parent, and Dadi & Padma start trying to convince Ritu to marry, or to go back to her hubby. This was compounded by Ritu herself in her trying to send the message to them that Kabir was right for Jyoti. I liked it when Jyoti decided to drag Ritu out of there, telling her that if they went on further, her family would marry off both of them 😆

Oh, and Bubbly is the first person I have seen that KK is automatically pleased w/ - normally, he cannot stand anyone except Jyoti, and her well-wishers.

I thought the photos must have been sent by Brij - who else can obtain such photos of Neelam & Gautam? Also, since Neelam knows how aware Pankaj is, couldn't she have done something like put those photos in a pan w/ oil, added something and cooked, and leave him w/ the impression that something is indeed cooking? However, looks like the legendary ehsas is letting him down again.

I was surprised that Ritu, who's supposed to be pretty outspoken, was so silent during this whole drama. But one thing good - this time, Jyoti did not oppose Kabir who was supporting her, but instead told him that it was no use, and that she was leaving the school.

In reality, are schools/daycares actually like this, where parents are going to gossip about other parents or a teacher/caregiver?

This timing thing struck me as well 😆 - she's just left her job after being accused of having a baby by cheating on her hubby, and the guy who accused her is now shamelessly trying to claim it as his. And yeah - Pankaj is just blaming Brij, like Brij was responsible for Pankaj making Jyoti perjure herself and agreeing that they've been living apart 1 year. Jyoti should use this as a basis to deny that this is Pankaj's kid. If Pankaj insists on DNA evidence, throw that back @ him while filing a perjury case against him.

I loved Kabir ignoring Pankaj's insults, and taking Jyoti away from there right under his very nose. 🤣

Great update! Good job by Neelam that she burnt the photos that way Pankaj has lost a good chance of proving her characterless.
