Yes, I think once in a while after a new track begins we can have a discussion based on the current track. For example at the moment we could have something based on Sudhay marriage, and discussion topics could be - Sudha's future in Vashisht household, the effect of this marriage on Jyoti, how the situation will turn if the stress changes her into Devika often, etc.

Character of the week is a great idea. My nomination for the last week, for instance, would be Uday, for playing his trump, or if we want to avoid too many repetitions and nominate people not likely to be nominated again, the temple priest who hurried it along, and pretty much forced Sudha to start marrying even while she was waiting for Jyoti 😆 Only on rare occasions would we nominate the leads, like Jyoti, Pankaj, Sudha, Uday... or again, it would get too boring.

Sharona and I used to do a MOTW, but after like 3 or 4, we ran out of active members So we decidd to put it on Hiatus for a while. I you could re-start that.

One more idea - open a thread to have people write fanfics of this serial starting at any/various points. In other words, let the story run as in the original up to a certain point, and from that point onwards, take over. For instance, one could let Jyoti & Sushma both discover that Brij was cheating, before Sushma marries Brij, so that the story takes a different turn altogether. Or have Devika marry Uday in one of their escapades, and waking up as a married Sudha 😆😆 The opportunities are boundless. If we started a thread on one of these, had different members write different stories starting at different points of their own choosing, it would be interesting reading. And members needn't be limited to just 1 story.
