Due to the recent events taking place, Pankaj will distance himself from jyoti because he will fall in the helpless, im good for nothing, your to good for me mode. Jyoti will sympthasize with him and tell him hes perfectly capable. Since they both do not have a strong relationship, its very easy for each side to break apart, they are slowly going to drift...personally why cant they get his eyes checked out again, they are so rich, modern technology of today can do wonders, i think its high time for that..

Yeah, that's what they showed in the pre-cap for tomorrow - him wallowing in self-pity, and knocking off an offering that Jyoti was giving him. I think this may be the point where Jyoti quits her jobs to become a full time bahu, w/ nothing else to fall back on, and just serves them all as long as she is there. If she is headed for that role, then I hope she gets to welcome Sudha into the family as well.

Previously, Pankaj's confidence rivaled Devika's; now, it's as high as Sudha's. It's ironic that on one end, Uday is trying to inspire Sudha to become more self-confident, and Jyoti is doing the same for Pankaj. Maybe they could get Sudha in there to inspire Pankaj - after all, she too went through a lot - an attempted rape, an incarceration, a stalking, and came out of it in one piece. Maybe she could inspire Pankaj to be his old self, which Jyoti can't. And that would also endear her to the family.

I agree Vrisha, jyoti will probably leave her job and i think things will get more complicated. She wont be able to be a full time bahu and will stay really unhappy! Why cant they have pankaj recover already, seriously man!

I think Jyoti would do fine as a full time bahu. Reason she worked was that her family needed her to, and when she did, she was fully stressed between 2 low paying jobs, coupled w/ extravagant demands from Padma, Deepu and Dadi. The demands only stopped after she walked out. Couple that w/ the emotional support she had to give Sudha, and she was torn apart.

In this case, there is no demand that she works (other than her own self driven goal to see that she's not perceived as a gold digger who's looting her in-laws to serve her parents), so absent that, she'd do fine as a full time bahu. Only reason she may be unhappy would be her inability to support KK & family, but that can be resolved by simply agreeing to keep the money flowing, in return for the fact that as a full time bahu, her in-laws are getting her most valuable asset - her time. Now, Sudha has started working, so pressure would ease on that front, but sooner or later, she and Uday are going to want to marry, and it's unlikely that they'd want the same arrangement as the one Jyoti initially had. So the sooner Deepu gets a promotion and can support the family (sans Sudha, who's earning her own), the better.

Yea, i thought so too... that Jyoti might leave her job and dedicate herself and work overtime into bringing back Pankaj's confidence in himself. But the recent promo shows that she's back into mending Sushma's life. I just hope that this time around her efforts don't go waste like last time.

Saydie, I was wondering the same thing abt Pankaj's eye sight. Technology has reached tremendous heights and for ppl as rich as the Vashishts who can easily afford the costs, its no big deal. Then why isn't Jyoti or anyone else thinking abt it? As for now, Pankaj's reactions and feelings are totally understandable. I just hope Jyoti helps him cope out of it soon.

I agree, I hope Jyoti can help him cope and I hope CM comes back, as strict as she was I understand her actions now and feel that Jyoti needs to either learn to balance both mayka and sasural or just drop the responsiblities of one. She is human and is bound to get herself dug deep into trouble if she cannot manage it
