• Deepu and his father are exploring the house, when a couple identifies him as Jyoti's brother and asks him where he works. He tells them that he works in FastForward Courier Service. The couple are impressed that he owns his business at such a young age, and an embarassed KK holds Deepu's hand to support him. The couple then tells Deepu that they want to complain to him about the behavior of the delivery boys, and Deepu tells them that they are training, and apologizes for their behavior. The couple ask him why he's the one apologizing, and he tells them that he's a delivery boy, not the owner. The couple is embarrassed, and ask him why he needs to work, and Pankaj's father, who overhears this, intervenes and says that it is necessary for him to work so that he gets the experience needed to be successful. He is confident that with this groundwork, Deepu will one day be a successful businessman. KK and Deepu are relieved, and smile at Pankaj's dad (what a class act 👏👏👏)
  
• Sudha is sitting alone, and Uday comes and gives her a samosa. Sudha accepts it, but seems reluctant to have it, and Uday tells her to feel free to decline anything she doesn't like. He tells her that he knows what's more appropriate for her, and calls another attendent and asks him to get the sweets, telling her that she has a sweet personality, at which Sudha smiles 😳😳😳. He then sits down next to her, and tells her about Devika - that he has a friend Devika, who absolutely resembled her, and how Sudha stunned him at the wedding due to her similarities w/ Devika. Hearing the name Devika for the first time, Sudha started getting more flashbacks of her previous Devika escapades, and Uday then told her that despite her similarity w/ Devika, her personality was a complete contrast: Devika was bold, independent, confident and didn't have the word 'can't' in her dictionary. Sudha remarked that she too ought to be like that, but Uday told her that she was fine as she was😳😳😳, as Devika lacked her sweet qualities. At this point, just as he was going to elaborate, cm comes in and asks him why he is paying attention only to Sudha when they have so many other guests. Uday takes cm aside and asks her whether that was any way to talk, since Sudha too was a guest. CM upbraids Uday for talking to him like that, and tells him to remember that he is alone w/ a girl while there are guests in the house, and leaves. Uday looks at Sudha sadly, but she gives him a very understanding look. (Normally I like cm, but I hate what she did here. Only explanation I can think of here is that she wants Uday to remain faithful to Devika, something most of us disagree w/, but which is understandable from cm's pov, since she likes Devika and doesn't want her betrayed.)
  
• Jyoti and Padma enter her room, and Padma launches into a tirade about the way she plotted w/ Deepu to keep her in the dark about Sushma. She then launches into a class-envy spiel, telling Jyoti how the expenses spent on that puja could sustain Sushma's rent for 1 year, and how the cost of the drapes could cover Brij's illness (since Brij is not ill, what Padma earns - nil - will cover Brij's illness) She also pointed out that Sushma would never accept her money, and reminds her of how she threw it back at her face (money that Padma had asked Jyoti to give, Jyoti didn't volunteer it initially, and had to get into enough trouble w/ cm and Pankaj for doing this.) She then accuses Jyoti of plotting w/ Deepu to keep her in the dark so that Sushma continues to dance at these parties. Jyoti is shocked to hear all this. Just then, Deepu enters the room, and tries to stop Padma from continuing, and Jyoti too tries to explain that she didn't want Padma to worry. However, Padma didn't buy it and her tirade continued, and she wonders whether Sushma even has a puja this year or not. So Deepu tells her that she does, and had actually called before the puja to tell him this and invite Padma, and Padma's ire now turns towards Deepu for not telling him earlier. Deepu told her that the reason for that was that the puja had already started. Padma's rage continued, and she continued on her class envy tirade, shocking Deepu. When he objected, she told him that if he had overheard what she did, he'd realize that the only thing that matters in this new circle of Jyoti's is money, and stormed out of the room. Jyoti and Deepu looked shocked. (I am in principle okay w/ Padma reading Jyoti the riot act for taking this into her own hands instead of informing Padma. However, this was not the occasion - not that Padma would care, and there was no need to get into the class envy mode, since it was cm who had invited them, not Jyoti: Jyoti was just pleasantly surprised that her folks were there to see her perform this puja.)
  

• CM wonders what's taking Jyoti so long, when she sees a visibly upset Padma coming down the stairs, and wonders what's wrong w/ this woman. KK is having a conversation w/ 2 young people who used to be clients of his when he used to work, and Padma calls him aside and demands that they leave now. KK tries to convince her that it would look unseemly if they left like that in the middle of everything, but Padma initially shouted, and when KK signaled her, she said that she didn't care, and that if he didn't leave, she would. Then Padma stormed out of the place in front of everybody, including finally cm, causing everybody to notice, and both puzzling and embarrassing KK. Pankaj's parents, who were chatting w/ Dadi & Sudha, came to ask KK what was wrong, and so he covered up by saying that she wasn't feeling well and had to leave. Mr Vashisth then said that they could have called in a doc, but KK said that they didn't want to cause any such trouble in the middle of everything, and requests them to get back to what they were doing. CM however didn't buy this, and suspected that something must have gone on b/w Jyoti & Padma for this to happen. (I didn't get whether KK asked to be excused from the function, since he was clearly embarrassed at the scene his wife created, and didn't want more attention on himself. But couldn't have done that w/o getting Deepu as well, who was upstairs)

• Jyoti is in her room, still hurt by Padma's upsetting tirades, and Deepu consoles her, telling her that Padma is stressed over Sushma's situation, and that she needs to be strong for Sushma. Jyoti agrees, wipes her tears and says that she needs to be freed from the clutches of Brij. Deepu is initially horrified by the suggestion, but that turns to anger when he thinks that Brij is using Sushma. However, Jyoti calms him down and explains that if he bashes up Brij, Sushma will simply be upset at him. She points out that Brij needs to be exposed to Sushma. They then wonder how, and Jyoti remembers Brij's comments about not loving Sushma, and how his own illness created duties for her. Jyoti then asks Deepu what he would have done if he were ill, and he says that after seeing the doctor, if the meds didn't work, he'd take tests. Jyoti tells him that they need to obtain whatever test results Brij procured to convince Sushma that he was ill, and take that to another doctor for a second opinion. (How does giving a real doctor a fake report say anything about a patient, unless he himself is willing to be treated by that doc? 🤔🤔🤔) Deepu says that it will be difficult to get that out of him, but Jyoti tells him that he has to for Sushma's sake. Deepu agrees.

KK thanks the Vashishts for their hospitality. Sudha looks at Uday and smiles sweetly,❤️❤️❤️ and Uday returns the compliment❤️❤️❤️. Bhairavi notices the love - first on Sudha's face and then on Uday's, and frowns . Uday then offers to drop the Sharmas back home, but Bhairavi stops him on the pretext that he's needed for some other work, and that she'll send them w/ the driver. Sudha is disappointed and Deepu looks upset. (While Bhairavi's reaction pisses off everyone who wants to see Suday materialize, I can understand it if she has developed a fondness for Devika, sees that Uday is getting an alternative that will enable him to dump Devika, and she doesn't want Devika to get hurt, and is therefore 'protecting' her. But if Bhairavi has genuine issues w/ Sudha, I have genuine issues w/ her. It won't be difficult for her to find a pretext - she could tell Uday that given the way Padma insulted her hosts by storming out the way she did, they didn't deserve his company on their return the way they did when they came.)

• Continuation of previous episode, where Devika kicks down a pot, takes the alumunium mug, hurls it at the light bulb and blows it off, and then removes a blade and cuts herself in the wrist, causing panic among the cops there. 😲😲😲
  
• Pankaj and Jyoti are in bed, when the phone rings and Pankaj answers it and is shocked. He tells Jyoti that Sudha has cut her wrists, and they both head to the hospital.
• They inquire about Sudha from the doctor, and Jyoti goes in to meet her.
• Jyoti cries to Sudha asking her why she did that. Devika gets up and scolds her, telling her that her name isn't Sudhi, it's Devika, and Jyoti tells her that she is her sister.
• Devika asks Jyoti whether she isn't the same woman who slapped her in front of the magistrate in order to expose her. She tells her that she would have slapped Jyoti then had she not been in hospital, but then remembers that she did take her revenge by strangling her, and so they are even 😕😆
  
• Devika tells Jyoti that she doesn't like to see people crying, and that she believes in fun, and enjoying life to the fullest. She then mocks Jyoti for still crying and 'forgives' her, and asks her to leave.
• Jyoti asks Devika that even if she was Devika, couldn't she be someone's younger sister? Devika retorts that she has no sisters, no brothers, no family and hates relationships, and that the only thing she loves is her freedom. (Is this a fall-out of Sudha's family experience?)
  
• Devika tells Jyoti that she does whatever she feels like doing, and she contrived to come to the hospital since she didn't like being at that fatso's place (referring to the female constable, who just had to look dumbly while Devika was mocking her)
• In the meantime, Pankaj is trying to convince the doctor that Sudha has multiple personality disorder. The doctor is not convinced, and they argue, while watching the closed circuit TV of the room Devika is in.
  
• Devika asks Jyoti the reason for her interest, and guesses that she works for the police. She tells her point blank that she acted in self defense and pushed that punk at the disco because he made inappropriate moves on her, and so he got exactly what he bargained for. 👏👏👏 She also said that she has no regrets, and never says sorry.
  

• Jyoti then asks Devika why she, a sensible girl, tried to commit suicide and played w/ her life. Devika tells her that she never plays with her life, since she loves it too much.
• She tells Jyoti that regardless of who she (Jyoti) is, she's starting to like her, and therefore will confide in her.
• She tells Jyoti that the hospital is a lot more comfy than the jail, what with the air-conditioning, bed, nurses waiting on her, et al, and therefore, she contrived the situation where she could get out of jail and into the hospital. 😆😆😆 Jyoti is flabbergasted.
• Devika continues that she only cut as much as was necessary, because she knew that the entire jail staff will be there to save her. She pointed out that if she died, moTi would lose her job. MoTi looks glumly knowing that Devika had gamed her, and there was nothing she could do about it. 🤣🤣🤣
  
• Devika then starts laughing hysterically, and an alarmed Jyoti goes out to call the doctor and nurse. The doctor, seeing Devika laugh, had already headed to their room. At the bed, Devika suddenly stops laughing, covers her eyes, and becomes Sudha again, right in front of Jyoti.
• Sudha then protests to Jyoti that she needs to take her out of there, since her jailers are very cruel.
• The doctor meets Jyoti and Pankaj outside and tells them that he has sedated Sudha for the rest of the day, and that she'd be there for the night. The next day, Monday, they could get her bail and have her released.
  

• Pankaj intervenes at this point, and tells the Sharmas that he understands how difficult it is to accept that Sudha did whatever she did under the influence of a disorder. He tells them that it will take them time to get used to that, and until then, he would shelter Sudha at their place. Both KK and Jyoti protest that it's not right for a girl to take refuge at her sister's in-law's place, and Pankaj asks KK where else would Sudha live, and tells Jyoti that at this point, they need to put Sudha's well being first. Pankaj then takes Jyoti and Sudha, and leaves 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 (Since KK didn't veto the attempts to expel Sudha, and since Jyoti couldn't get Sudha back, why did they try to block Sudha from being sheltered in the Vashisth's house? For the sake of their precious 'izzat', does KK want her dead? Since KK wasn't willing to take back Sudha, he has no f**king business telling anyone else whether Sudha should live in their place or not.)
  
• Pankaj and Jyoti return home w/ Sudha. His parents ask whether Sudha is okay, and Jyoti tells them that she has been bailed out. Pankaj tells them about Sudha's parents refusing to accept her, and that she'd therefore stay with them. He asks his parents whether he did right. His father agrees wholeheartedly, while his mom has doubts...
  
• Uday is annoyed to see Sudha and protests about it to Pankaj. Pankaj says that he knows that they have a lot of questions, which he wants to answer, since it's their family affair. Uday walks out of the room in protest, and Pratik goes after him, trying to stop him.
• Pankaj's father states that this is Sudha's new home. Jyoti states that she doesn't want Sudha to be a burden on them, and that after a few days, she'll find her a hostel or a new place. Pankaj's father berates her for talking like that, telling her that they all were hers, the home was hers, and... Pankaj thanks him and points out to Jyoti that everybody will love Sudha. He asks her to take Sudha to the guest room, as she needs rest.
• Pankaj sits w/ his parents to discuss this. His mom tells him that she understands his reasoning, and that it's a good thing to help others, but that they have a relationship w/ Sudha's family, and should not humiliate them. 😕 Pankaj's dad points out that these relationships exist so that at times like these, they can come to each other's support. Gayatri has concerns about what they saw on TV, what Kalpana said and Sudha's state of mind, and didn't know what was right or wrong in this case. His dad emphasized that helping someone in need can never be wrong. He asks whether, if such a tragedy befell any of their own children, whether they should disown them? 👏👏👏 He adds that Jyoti was their child, and if her family wasn't prepared to accept Sudha, where would she go?
• At this point, Longshree butts in and tells them that everyone is saying that Sudha is mad, and that she's scared of her. Gayatri admonishes her telling her that Sudha is their guest, and orders her to take good care of her.
• Gayatri concludes that she respects their opinions, but still has something to say.
  

• Sudha is lying alone on a bed in the guest room, and Jyoti comes to her w/ a tray, a glass and a jug of water. She tells Sudha that she's leaving the water for her, and that if she needs anything, dial 11, and if she needs to talk to her, dial 16. Sudha declines her offer to eat, and Jyoti asks her to rest
• As Jyoti is about to leave, Sudha grasps her hand. She's filled w/ guilt, and says that she's a very bad person who hurt everybody, which was why her parents didn't want to allow her back home, and Dadi & Deepu are still mad at her. While she was struggling for answers, Jyoti tells her that now's not the time to think all this, and that she needs to rest. She assures her that w/ time, people's anger will subside.
• Jyoti assures her that everyone loves her, but Sudha states that things will never be the same again. She knows it, and thinks she's gone mad, which is why nobody wants to shelter her.
• Jyoti reassures her that nothing of the sort would happen to her.
  
• Sudha then panics, and asks Jyoti whether she'll be put into an asylum? 😭😭😭
  
• Jyoti hugs her, and assures her that everything would be okay, now that she's been bailed out. She asks her to rest.
• Sudha is remorseful at the trouble she has caused Jyoti, and tells her how she wanted a job so that Jyoti would no longer need to support them. Instead, she's caused her more trouble. She's the cause of everyone's worries.
• Jyoti tells her to stop blaming herself, and that nothing is wrong w/ her, and everything would be okay again, like before. She asks her whether she trusts her, and will obey her, and Sudha agrees. She orders her to stop thinking all this, and rest. Sudha agrees. Jyoti leaves the room, and Sudha lies down and cries, hugging a cushion.
  
• In his room, Uday is sitting alone on his bed, and Pankaj enters w/ a disk and sits down.
  
• Pankaj tells him that sometimes, life throws its twists that make it difficult to determine the right path ahead. He thinks that Uday is in that same predicament. As his elder brother, he advises him to follow his heart.
  
• Uday says that he's always gone by his instincts, and that's what's led him to where he is today. He said that there were occasions when he had doubts about that girl, but that he everytime listened to his heart. After all, he loved her. He listened to his heart, and instead of love, what he got was deception 😭
• Pankaj disagrees, and tells him that those who listen to their heart never are proven wrong. There are situations that come about where they think that life is unfair to them, but that life does sometimes throw strange twists. He should not lose heart.
• Uday now gets angry, and says that he has seen enough, and that it's Pankaj who cannot see that that girl is first Devika, then Sudha - a flawless actress.
• Pankaj explains that there are times that people who can't see can sense what those who can see can't. He points out that he's not seen either Sudha nor Devika, but that he has heard them both, and that he can say w/ confidence that she is innocent, and is suffering from a condition. She needs their support and love. 👏👏👏
  
• He knows that people who can see don't trust something until they've seen it. Therefore, he brought the CCTV recorded disk from the hospital, where Uday could witness Sudha turning into Devika and then back. He trusts that based on that, his bro will make the right decision.
