I don't think Kalpana will get a boy-friend, unless someone from the groom's family (not Uday) falls for her. Besides, if Uday goes for Kalpana, who would take Sudha? I don't like the idea of her staying w/ her folks - I want her to marry fast (in fact, I wanted her to beat Jyoti to the alter), and get a husband and m-i-l who love her, and can help Devika and Sudha merge. They'll like the combo.

The brother w/ the camera - doesn't he already have a girl friend? Or was that a sister/cousin?

Also, today's episode - Brij mentioned that Pankaj seemed to be from the Vashisht family - so is that Pankaj's last name?

yeah the brother has a gf...but in serials something always happen..and that is pankaj's last name..finally we have a last name for him

What did you all think of the closing moments of Friday's episode - Panchi asking Jyoti where her family members were, and everyone, including Jyoti, looking in stunned silence?

did you see the new promo? uday & sudha....i just watched it and thought why is sudha serving food...is she working there now?? it was confusing...and by god uday was like devika?? cant wait for the episodes

Yeah, that I didn't get either. Isn't she supposed to be a guest, or did Jyoti welcome them all, and decided to make it up to them by giving them co-hosting duties, and hence Sudha's new role.

But why did Uday look miffed?

I wonder whether we'll see an episode where Uday gets to see Sudha turn into Devika and back. Then he can determine whether he wants the whole package or not. If I were him, I'd have taken her - it would be like getting 2 girlfriends/wives in one package 😆😆😆

the first part of the promo is confusing....2 wives/gf's you are thinking way ahead 😆 marry one...get another on free..uday himself will be confused what to call his wife/gf...sudha or devika...he make a cute nickname for her...combine sudha & devika 😆

Yeah, and the best part is that whenever he's w/ one, there is no question of the other intruding, and there will never be any jealousy issues b/w the 2 😆😆😆. Plus he can have Sudha whenever he wants his wife, while dating Devika when he wants the defiant girlfriend. 😆😆😆Although, until now, Devika's rejection of him has hurt him, but once he marries Sudha, he doesn't care whether Devika accepts him as boyfriend or friend, since he knows that she is his wife at all other times.

Marry one, get the other for free - that's good!!! 😆😆😆 Plus only he knows Devika - nobody else does. And now, there is no reason for Jyoti or anyone else to know who Devika is. Maybe Kalpana, if they need to get her treated for multiple personality disorder, but even Uday or Choti-ma can handle it. I think more likely Choti-ma, since she did prefer Sudha to Devika for her honesty and simplicity.

But I'm glad he won't be missing her at the wedding, which he has been until now

I saw the first part of the promo just now (previously, I had just seen the still shots in the other thread) - Jyoti and Pankaj sitting on a low stool. I think that was the bidai or farewell ceremony to Jyoti's family - since she'd now be leaving the family anyway as a result of marriage - regardless of whether they had had a fall-out or not - it looks like they may have done that right there so that KK, Dadi could have given their blessings before giving her away.

But I thought that that sort of a ceremony would be a day after the actual reception.

Anyway, let's see what they show tonight

I liked today's episode - the 2nd and 3rd parts. So KK managed to get to Jyoti w/o the guard being able to intercept him, and the embarrassment that some people were expressing @ Jyoti's father not being there to give away the bride was avoided.

I liked the looks on either side - Uday and his mom had their eyes locked on Sudha, who they recognized as Devika, while Sudha and Deepu recognized Pankaj as Sachin. Mildly awkward, w/ assumed names on both sides 😆 - Pankaj's dad introduced his son as Pankaj (whereas Sudha and Deepu remembered him as Sachin) and Sudha's dad introduced her as Sudha (whereas Uday and Bharvi recognize her as Devika). I couldn't make out what to make of Uday's expression - as though he had been lied to uptil now. Something tells me this romance may have some initial bumps. I also found it funny that while Uday was looking at Sudha, Sudha was looking at Pankaj. Understandable, since she doesn't have Devika's memory now. Although wouldn't she have remembered Uday's mom from the credit card incident?

Precap - tomorrow, KK will hand over Jyoti to Pankaj. I really thought it was tactless of Deepu to point out that Pankaj was blind.
