A large part of our numbers going down is the channel & PH fault.

1 - Channel doesn't promote the show hence minimal viewership which in turn gives our forum fewer members.

2 - the story track - on an episode basis they are doing good work.

But if you look at the big picture, the changes have not been that engaging as in the village.

Flaws that impact existing viewership:

Since moving to the city, there is a lack in developing the city track to tell a great story,

Minimum romance between the lead - who are loved by the audience. Makes no logical sense.

Turning the characters sensibilities around to be the opposite of what they were in the village. Strong independent, passionate people turned to crying, puppets with no thought of their own, going with the flow. Thats not who MITHVI are.

Lastly adding a psychotic villain angle which has taken over the show - good acting not with standing - this is not my cup of tea and is the reason I watch the show faster.

The week started positively and then went down hill from there. What happened to the light touch they had? It used to be a blend of lightness and seriousness.

There has not been a lot we can talk about lately except - whats wrong with the lead and the nastiness of the villain..

1 - Channel doesn't promote the show hence minimal viewership which in turn gives our forum fewer members.

2 - the story track - on an episode basis they are doing good work.

chalo this ranking doesn't really make any difference as its only counted for IF, par what about TRPs? The things you've listed are effecting TRPs big time 🤔

PH is loosing money & they are still hung on Akash & his psychoness 🤢 😕 They rushed through village track giving excuses that Mithvi's romance needs candle light & special effect which wasn't possible in village track & other useless reasons 😡 Natural lighting & open green space in 12goan wasn't romantic? 😕 Also to increase TRP & for it to cross 1, forget that every week the figure is falling & PH is loosing audience because of uninteresting story line 🤢

With the new digitization all hindi daily shows are competing with regional shows & IPL fever isn't helping either

@Anu @Sahana I agree to all of the points stated by both of you , the main culprit is no one else but the Channel.

I agree the PH has also done blunders with the story , the major ones being Meera's confession and the abrupt moving to the city but then again they must have thought this would give them the desired TRP boost(which obviously they werent getting in the village track), people sitting there and actually doing stuff know much more than us, dont you think if we can are able to make out these blunders , wouldn't they have considered.

I agree this did not help them in terms of TRPs but the reason is same , the channel is not promoting the show, if you see other shows, which show has a consistent story through out, these are daily soaps and they have to keep changing tracks to continue to dish out daily.

At least our show has a story where we have got a villain who is trying to create differences and the leads are getting trapped and eventually they will have to fight back

If any of you watched IPK ,they would remember they were showing crap tracks towards the end(the kid, Mrs India ) but then also the show used to get above 2.0 ratings , I agree it was very popular and was on SP , which brings us back to the point that marketing and publicity is the key which our show does not get at all.

Even if we go back to village and then continue with the story (from where we left )it wont make a difference until the show is promoted.

look at how Life OK promotes mahadev, all the sister channels of star show the promos of it, we did not got a single tweet from life OK for the ME.

when i trashed them and Sahana also backed then we got a tweet from Adi for the ME which was obviously the last minute escape.when ever there is mahadev ME, LO tweets every second and i feel like i should unfollow LO(no offence to people who like mahadev)

I hope I am able to make the point after writing so much which is unless we get due promotion from LO , our show or for that matter any show wont get the desired viewership.

Even if moving to the city was in the plan, the way they rushed meera falling in love to RK to the Meera Akash wedding have been neck break speed without decent progression time.

Ttracks is what makes it interesting. But if a single track is all that there is, then its imbalanced. I am looking forward to Mithvi catching on and stand as one and literally going after Akash. 😈

I agree -- I miss the village and all the romance it offered. So hoping the city track is developed well and moves of from just snide remarks about being a villager and insulting Prithvi to a positive Prithvi who adapts to the life and retains his innate honesty.

@Saba 😉 Agree major chuck of dwindling TRP is because there are no promos for Junoon whatsoever 😭 I wouldn't have known about the ME if it wasn't for IF & the channel is already airing ME promo of their fav show for 5th may 😲 😡 I mean what's with them? din dahade

favoritism aur promotion so early? 😡 😡

We can't deny that PH screwed up when they rushed the track to city Like Anu said the pace with which they moved to city was blink of an eye 🤢 They swept so many unanswered questions under the rug & catapulted hoping city lights & romance of Mithvi will give them numbers It did give them for a while but too much of Akash again put off people & with new digitization & IPL why would anyone bother to see Akash's Junoon? 😕

If PH gets their act together to make the story sustain viewers interest TRPs, stick to Junoon's original theme & 12goan, PH can demand the channel to promote Junoon 🤔

@Sahana :I am sorry to say I like the current track , I dont find any thing wrong in that except the fact that Akash is getting too much screen space and time but then they have to as he is the main baddie and eventually he will be out of the show ( he has to at least for once when every one comes to know the truth)

talking about past wont help any of us no matter how wrong it was.

I really dont want to name the show ,but the show topping IF has the worst track ever, it seems they dont even know what they are trying to show, all the characters(leads) seems to have escaped from mental asylum , no logic what so ever but then also you can see the results.

Our track is very very logical as compared to them.

I wont even talk about saas-bahu shows which I cant even stand.

No, let's assume we go back to village which seems quite logical after Akash's fiasco and mithvi realize that nobody loves them in the city and so they move back and we get all our fav characters back but even then if the show is not promoted and not marketed we wont get the desired results , LO needs to really start giving importance to the show.

We have got the best montage (across all the channels ) and LO could have updated their cover page but no they wouldn't do it 😡, not even a single mention and twitter is free

@Saba...what am saying is they hurried the city track, there was no proper progression from village to city I know talking about it won't work but CVs need to get the message across about their fiasco. Akash was important to the story who was roped in too soon 🤢

saba - I used to see IPK on and off ( my reference was IPKKND - sorry thats why I did not recognize the abbv). Not as dedicated as I'm to Junoon n NBT.

I still think ASR n Sanaya had awesome chemistry ... Uff they burned n sizzled. After them, Mithvi comes close. But they have yet to hit that mark and surpass it because of the terrible edits, half finished scenes and what few scene they have are cut at crucial pts and camera pans to the live peep show audience - i.e. - Akash.
