Yes ajeeb lagta hai... A girl like Meera getting married for the sake of her newly found father. 😲
A girl who shares such a lovely relationship with her mother didn't even stop and think for a second about her mother before doing this. This was precisely what her mother didn't want her to do and that's why she ran away from that village. For her sake, her poor mother had to separate from her husband and live a life of a single mother. She sacrificed a lot for her daughter's sake. And Meera who is so mature otherwise, got married so save her father who she had just found. And she developed so much concern and love for him in such a short time, which overcame her feelings of her mother.
Don't get me wrong. I feel she could have spoken at least once to her mother. Fine, Sudha has cancer and Miu may not have wanted to bother her till now. But she shares such close relationship with her mom that somehow hiding such a big thing like marriage thing from her mother feels strange. And another strange thing is Meera never questioned the details why , how this all happened to Ramu. Immediately after she learned the 20 year old truth, she just decided that OK I will marry Prithvi. Come on. Didn't she think of her future at all?😕
Agreed, The gaonwallas attacked her emotionally and Ramu physically but samaz lo if Meera had refused to marry jyada se jyada kya hota. Ramu ki izzat jaati, sarapanch nahi rahta which is a big thing for a thakur. But Meera to city bred educated hai na? She should have come up above this zoothi izzat and all.
And again and again I feel bad for Sudha. Itna haq to banta hai uska ki uski beti koi bada step lene se pahle use bataye. If my daughter does this to me, I would feel my trust betrayed.
And what about Akash? Does Meera even love him? I think the track where he thinks that she took him for granted would be right.Because that's how any person in his place would feel.
Maybe I am looking for too much logic in a show. After all this is fiction, but then it has to be convincing too
Again I want to tell everyone that I love to watch this show, but these are such basic mistakes in the storyline. I feel Cvs could have developed the track in such a way. Instead of showing CW, they could have shown that Ramu accepts Meera as his daughter and she starts to care and love her father. Then Prithvi and Meera end up spending night together somewhere alone 😉 because of some reason and then gaonwallas start saying bad things about her, badnaami hoti Ramu ki , So they had to get married and sudha's bhagne ki wajah also kuch aur hoti.😊 A little cliched but more convincing.
