Do not find the names daunting Baisas. If the characters of Mahabharat were to be introduced for the first time too the names would seem confusing. But soon they will become familiar.

And if aunty is going to tell the story with the illustrations it is going to be a lot more easier to identify them.

Some more titbits

King Gandaradityan's son Madhurantakan was a baby when his father died. So his uncle (chacha) ascended the throne. The uncle too didn't live long and his son Sundara Chozhan ascended throne. Madhurantakan is younger than even Sundara Chozhan's sons. But the original queen (Madhurantakan's mother and Gandaradityan's wife) is alive and a Shiv Bhaktini and for some reason doesn't want her young son to inherit the throne. She tries her best to keep him away from politics and into religion and is all for Sundara Chozhar's children becoming future kings.

The Prime Minister Anirudhar is extremely loyal capable and has 'eyes and ears everywhere'.

Nandini's beauty was sans compare and could floor anyone. The Sr.Chancellor who was a staunch loyalist to the Empire and who could not be bribed bought or tempted -his biggest weakness was his wife Nandini. And he was allowing himself to be influenced more and more by his pretty wife sometimes even in political issues which his younger brother Chancellor Jr doesn't approve.

The only person who withstands her beauty (more because he is full of himself and the madness of carefree youth) is our 'hero' Vanthiyathevan.😎

I think I have kindled the expectation of all the baisas to the maximum level. Let me see how far I can manage. My first handicap is that I cannot open a new topic here due to some technical issues. As an alternative, I can only share Lashy's thread .Secondly it is humanly impossible to present the story in the same style and format as written by the author.It is also not necessary. Because there are so many venues available in the internet for the readers to devour the beauty of the novel.My object is just to create an interest in the readers to go in search of the original works of the author.

Thirdly, I do not know how far I will be physically fit and mentally ready to complete it. I should continue to have the same enthusiasm..

Last and not the least, I am not an expert in the language. My vocabulary is very limited.
