Somehow the Shehzade dominated Chapter 50, overshadowing the irresistible presence of even THE man throughout. Maybe because we were introduced to the inner workings of the inscrutable man, may be because he was THE man of might and power here who held the destiny of every character we know or maybe it was the ego vs good sense of the man that would decide the outcome of the situation, Shehzade's presence was felt more.

Every time he tries to see reason, his hurt ego blinds him. He lets his heart, rather heartlessness rule his brain. Men at the pinnacle have very few trustworthy friends and Shehzade considered AMK as one. He admits to having prayed for his safety on his missions. He held AMK very high in his regard and hence the fall is very steep.

His anger at a girl capturing the loyalties of his best man, loyalties that were his and his alone thus far, was heightened in the court. After seeing Heera he further senses that AMK's enticement was not impulsive but real and deserving. Hence he allows her to face humiliation in court to appease his vanity, something against his very nature.

AMK for the first time stands at a disadvantage. Not that he is unaccustomed to joint schemes. But firstly because he is guilty of what he is accused of and secondly because the power head who trusted him blindly now has his trust shaken and has to be convinced.

True that his treason has not affected the prince adversely but the prince is too hurt to see reason and the matter is now public. If the Shehzade is going to let AMK go scott free without a valid reason, he is going to set a bad precedent.

AMK has tried to deflect attention to some REAL treason, but would that save his case? Would their guilt absolve him of his accusations?

Would Tejraj be willing to help at this juncture even assuming that he is somewhere close to the capital right then! Would he antogonize the swine knowing fully well that AMK is still in danger zone?

What is going to jolt Shehzade out of his hurt and make his put his thinking cap on?

How did that man know about the thatched roof?

What would the ever resourceful AMK do in a night to clear his name from the dungeons in chains?

Will Heera come out with a magic potion that would be a light in the dark tunnel?

Or will one of our Baisa's Prannath play mini hero and save the day?

Sandy Begum, the episode as usual leaves us on tenterhooks, worried now for Bindup and Azeez. Bindup's fate unknown , if caught red-handed ,while Azeez's fate is in the known pan ...oops hands!
