Khan Sahib -

Hum hai mushtaaq aur woh bezaar

Shehzaade -

Na idhar udhar ki tu baat kar, yeh bata ki kafila kyun luta,

Hume rahjano se gila nahin, teri rahbari ka sawal hai...

(Don't make excuses, just explain how the caravan got looted. I am not concerned about the looters,but it is a question of your existence)

Khan Sahib -

Tumhe wafa yaad nahi, Hume jafa yaad nahi,

Zindagi or maut ke toh do hi tarane hai, ek tumhe yaad nahi, ek hume yaad nahi

(You don't remember loyalty, we don't remember disloyalty, life and death have two rhythms, you don't remember one, we don't remember the other)."

Humko unse wafa ki hai ummeed

Jo nahi jaante wafa kya hai

(I hope for faith from one

Who doesn't know what it means to be faithful)

Shehzaade -

Kuch to majbooriya rahi hongi yun koi bewafa nahi hota

(There must have been some compulsions, one is not disloyal for no reason at all)

Khan Sahib -

Mana ki tere deed ke kaabil nahi hoon main,

Tu mera shauk dekh, mera intezar dekh

( I admit I am not worth your attention (affection),but look at (appreciate) my interest (committment) and my patience.)
