The novel has quite a few inflammatory references and speaks of troubling times between two communities. With me ACTUALLY marking spots on the map now, those become 2 cities on a map - And realistically speaking, those would be where 2 real Indian cities exist today.
I think it could turn out to be an invitation for trouble from sensitive sections, if I did that... that's why I've never put up a map... only used it for personal guidance.. 😳

Actually, no... I put up a disclaimer then, because I was using the name of a real resort...😳

but Chellam... there were other issues I faced during NJAPA times... 🤔 and even lately, I might be wrong, but I thinkkk I came across one of the authors receiving flak for using name of real emperor...

Dearest lashy sorry for the late review. All the baisas have given such excellent reviews that i have nothing much to say. Was really saddened by the way heera was treated by the people of parnagarh and her maids. It was so intelligent of khan sahib for taking the right person in to confidence before hand that is mohan banna. It is so easy for people to forget all the great deeds of a person for one wrong deed or misunderstanding, it was so disheartening for heera the way things have turned out presently. But she is one brave woman who has faced worst situations at such an young age.

I could picturise each and every scene in my imagination because of your excellent description. For me i can imagine only rajat (taller version😆) as my khan sahib due to his matured and excellent acting and beautiful and sweet innocent paridhi as my heera.

Thanks for such an excellent and gripping chapter once again. Waiting with bated breathe as to how our hero is going to convince shehzaade and what his reactions would be when he comes to know about heera being taken as a prisoner.

Secondly, we all missed you. I was going to wait for my return from school run and then go 'Where's Periyamma 😭' but you came 😆

When you've been quiet for more than a day, I generally think it's either Day out with Australian Periyammas or Intensive Caligraphy classes or maybe even Minu Kutty! 😆
