The Music Director Lavanya, the Choreographer Kausi and the Director Lana discuss the song and dance sequences in the movie..They meet in the office of the production Executive KK.

KK: So.. We are meeting to decide about the song situation in the movie..

Kausi: My opinion is that we must have two duet songs by Heera and AMK in Aidabad, one in a happy mood and another a sad one. If director agrees we will make one of them as a dream sequence. Apart from that, after they get married we can have one duet in a very romantic mood.. Already I have imagined the choregraphy for two songs.. 'la la laa ta ta taa..'

Lana: What? I don't want my Akbarkhan to run around the trees singing and dancing..

Kausi: If you don't want him to dance in real life, you can make Heera dream about him, imagining her singing and dancing with him..

Lavanya: I have set the tune for about six songs with my assistant Minakutty. In the initial scenes in Parnagarh where the tragedy takes place, the wailing of Minakutty's solo voice and the beating of the drum, will give goosebumps to the audience.. If Sandhya comes up with lyrics, we can give it a final shape..It is the success of the songs that decides the success of the movie..That's why they have the audio release well in advance before the film is released..

Lana: No..no.. There are movies in Bengali, which were box office hits.. They did not have even a single song in them.. According to me, the success of a movie depends upon the director's talent..

KK: In addition to that the story should be strong enough to carry the audience till the climax scene..

Kausi: But..In case of Indian film industry, it is the dance numbers that carry the weight of the movies. Only songs and dance numbers linger in the minds of the audience for many years..

Lana: But it will be ridiculous if a Moghul spy sings and dances with a girl..It will mar his character.. I don't think the author will appreciate it..

KK: Don't worry about the author.. We should worry about the audience..If the audience likes it we can have .. why three, we can have four songs even..

Kausi: I just remembered o a couple of songs from the old Tamil movie, "Aayirathil Oruvan", which will perfectly suit the situation of Heera and Akbar in Aidabad.. It is about the love between a princess and a slave..She longs for him but he is in a dilemma.. It is exactly like the situation of our hero and heroine..I will consult Lavanya about having two such songs , one for him and one for her..I am sure the audience will fall flat for them..

Lavanya: I also feel that there will be ample scope for me to show my talent..

KK: So.. how many songs are there altogether?

Lavanya: A sad song in Parnagarh, 3 or 4 songs in Aidabad, joyous song for the wedding celebrations, a duet song in a happy mood...apart from the title song..That is, eight songs as of now..

Lana: And what would be the length of the movie..?

KK: Depends on the editor...
