It is a biopic and not a remake.. Only a few extracts of the scenes of the original films are re enacted here.

But the girl who does the running role of Savithri has completely transformed herself as the real one. But not so in the case of Gemini Ganesan. They could have given the same importance to the GG character as well. And also, there are a no of movies that Savithri acted with Shivaji Ganesan were top hits. But unfortunately the one she produced in her last days with Shivaji in the main role, was a total failure , and was the cause for her bankruptcy. Sadly none of her Tamil movies are mentioned in the film.

The question marks against Samantha and Vijay Devarakonda...I am not able to make out whether their characters are serious or comedy..

BTW, one is able to relate with such biopics only if he/she has some parichay with that person.

However, this is my opinion. Savithri passed away 35 years ago. None of the Baisas here would have been born at that time..

Of course it did... but it was more of a heads-up on the Earthquake that is/was about to hit... truly, how far can one prepare oneself for such an event when we know not the extent of the tremors or how far-flung its effects are going to be...

But the emotional turmoil of AMK was vivid and made me emotional. I was actually trying hard not to cry. Why does God always test his obedient children?

You asked exactly the questions that Cookie asked too... why does he test those dearest to him? Only he has the answer...

AMK needs to justify/confess his actions making sure Heera remains safe. This is a huge challenge to him. He's always been the most loyal man and a perfectionist. For the first time ever, he's guilty of something and look, what a mess he's in.

Horrible isn't it... it's as humiliating as an exemplary cop being framed for bribery by the corrupt system... it reminds me of the pain Seeta must have gone through, having to prove her chastity over and over again...

As he rightly said, it takes years to gain trust and one incident or doubt is enough to shatter the trust. God, I feel so bad for him, di.

He's questioning AMK's loyalty and what about him. Despite being told to keep the interrogation a confidential matter, he disclosed everything to Khalil. He doesn't even care if the evidences are created just to prove AMK guilty. Why the hell did Shehzaade trust this person?

See because he WOULD have been trustworthy-enough till things started happening in a manner that he did not like... 😕 And like Shehzaade said, better to have such a shrewd politician on your side rather than against!

Btw, has it ever struck anyone... that had FS had been here and not in Mecca, he would never have allowed the Shehzaade to grant 'blessings'/permission to AMK (in Chapter 25) who bartered for both, the life of his Begum and to become the Mansabdar of Parnagarh!

I really loved the way AMK consoled his guilty wife. It's not easy thing specially in that situation where where his mind and soul were burdened. How can someone be so magnanimous, di!

He doesn't blame her for it - it was another time in her life when he wasn't really around. Just like how she doesn't blame him now for Khalil's acts

There was no time to do the whole 'what if' game

Best to spend the few moments they had in peace, giving each other strength.. that's why😊

Their parting was one of the most emotional scenes of the story. Gosh, I can't express how I felt di..uncertainty of future is the worst thing ever!

It's horrible... it's the one thing that keeps me awake at night.. families separating.. riots.. war..all of it makes my stomach churn

You've described their love, longing and strength brilliantly. Both of them are trying to be strong for each other,their people and to keep up the promises made. Though we know it's a story with happy end, it's difficult not to cry. Hoping for the best for our beloved couple. They deserve happiness more than anyone else!

I loved the scene between AMK and Sayyid. What a touching scene, di..both of them are gems! ⭐️ AMK feels bad for not thanking his safehouse keeper and then, he thanks Sayyid. Reminded me of how he feels guilty of not fulfilling Pappu's wish and immediately takes Azeez out for dinner.

YES!!!! Thing is he is a man of actions and has always been... he must have done plenty for the safehouse keeper... and I am certain the safehouse keeper was more than glad to have been able to give up his life for a deserving master... but then, AMK is like that... magnanimous..

Hats off to you, di.. Every scene has an immense effect on the readers. It's not easy to write a story like this and keep ur readers hooked continuously for two years.👏👏
