Quickly splashing a few mental handfuls of life to awaken his weary persona, Sayyid pushed himself up, hoping to be upright by the time his Ustaad was by his side. But was stopped midway when five firm fingers grabbed his shoulder and gently nudged him back down.

Replacing the cushion that'd slipped off at the head of the bedding, Akbar took his place on the side, kneeling quietly. He let his glances run a casual trail over the chap's face.

For a few instants, the aura around him stayed mild. But that was only until he couldn't temper the blaze building up within his cold torso anymore. A blaze that was beginning to spread from one pulsing vein to another, one quivering muscle to the next - its aggression fanned by repeated thoughts of the irreplaceable losses he'd suffered. And now with the grief buried, prayers prayed and invisible tears shed, there was nothing left to dilute it anymore. For, it was a blaze that could only be subsided by bringing the murderous enemies under control.

'Glass...' was the first word to slip out of his mouth when her feet stepped by the site of the damage where he was still staring at.

'It's alright... I'll pick it up'

'I allowed my temper to get the better of me... shouldn't have happened...'

'That bad... is it?'

'Trust is like that glass, Heera - difficult to create... delicate to balance... and irreparable once broken...' into her pupils he finally glimpsed 'ten years it took me to create that delicate trust... now when I head to the capital, I'll know how many broken pieces I'll be left picking up...'
