Today got my new assignment for the upcoming new school year commencing on August 21st and they have given me a new position in a new school! Apparently, they have heard about my kids and work and the reputation has spread over and they want me to accept a new challenge in a new school with a new set of kids.

It is a good and bad feeling mixed together. Will miss my old kids, colleagues, school but am excited about the new place as well.

And his badmouthing the Mansabdar's wife as a stigma to the Hindus got him special cheers from the crowd and he basked in satisfaction and happiness. Oh, now she will realize what a blunder she has committed by rejecting me and marrying that Muslim businessman, he thought to himself! He provoked the Mansabdar one more time and by now the crowd was going ballistic chanting "We want a fight, a fight, fight"!! Oh yes, perfect!! This is what he exactly wanted! If the Mansabdar and his wife are out of the way due to the unhappy Hindu mass then Parnagarh will be an easy freshly plucked juicy apple for him to devour and enjoy!

Heera's plight knew no bounds!! Not only she felt worried, tensed and unhappy but she was also ashamed and angry seeing these rowdy antics of the Kunwarsa! How low can he get? Why is he doing this? Just because I said 'No' to his proposal he has this treasured grudge and vengeance hidden within him? Cannot be, must be something more than meets the eye! But what? And why is he hell bent on defaming Khan Sahib? How does he know about his business? What else does he know? Challenging him to a fight, is he out of his mind? This is so juvenile! Hey Ma Bhavani, please do something, please send some divine intervention to stop this ruckus, Heera prayed fervently.

Suddenly there was a stir in a corner and she could hear the loud murmur from the crowd. She looked at the direction and saw the tall figure emerging followed by his few men!

She knew who it was but at that precise moment, Heera didn't know whether to feel more worried and scared or feel relieved to see him there. And she knew if there was a fight, who will come out as the winner! But that was the last thing she wanted! Jiji please do something, why is this Kunwarsa behaving like this?

AMK knew something was wrong, he could hear the chant from far but he didn't know the exact details. He came up to where Heera was standing but one look at her face told him something was majorly wrong! Why is she looking so tensed? So worried? He can also sense the suppressed anger in her. She ought to feel happy for praying at the temple, then what happened? Suddenly he heard the voice.

Mahendra and the crowd went quiet for a while seeing the tall figure emerge from a corner of the crowd. This guy is not only tall but has big broad shoulders and a strong built for a common businessman. And his towering personality can also be gauged right across the masses from where he was standing. There was something in him that calls for awe and respect. But Mahendra, you can not let go of this golden opportunity that you have got, make use of it to get back at Heera and to get Parnagarh, he mused to himself.

With renewed vigor he started speaking all over again, "Oh the Mansabdar is here, so why waste the time? Let us proceed to the game field to see his prowess, that is if he is MAN enough to accept the challenge! I will go easy on him, after all he is the Jamaisa of Parnagarh, albeit a Muslim Jamaisa!! I can now guess why noble Durga Baisa's little sister refused to marry a Hindu Rajput! Because she apparently had a romantic liason with this muslim businessman and only for this sole reason she refused to consent to marry a noble Hindu Rajput! All came out in the open in Bansi from where she was banished for good!"

Heera stole a glance at AMK but other than a hint of surprise she didn't see a flinch on his expressions. Not a muscle moved, not even his eyes conveyed anything! How can he be so calm? Only at the tail end of Kunwarsa's speech just now at the mention of the reason for her refusal, she could see a gleam of satisfaction in his eyes!! It came fast but it went away faster! Was it really there? Maybe she was mistaken. Why will he look content at this time of stress and disruption? Moreover, she was embarrassed at the insinuated vile suggestion of the Kunwar. Ma Bhavani what is he doing? He is blaspheming me in front of him now!

I will leave it for Lashy to write the chapter and the outcome!! But in my imagination, the 'Ai Khuda' moment was the momentary glint in his eyes hearing about the reason of Heera's refusal of Mahendra's proposal!! I wanted to highlight that!! 😃

I know it is rubbish and nothing of this sort might happen but just thought of indulging myself! 😃 So please bear with me. 😃
