Author Sahiba come over here!! I have to give you tight squishy big hug!! 🤗 Loved it, loved it, loved it!! I will re-read it all over again!
Every feeling, every urge, every desire, every touch takes you to a surreal level where nothing exists but these 2!! I breathlessly read away all at one go, couldn't leave even if I wanted to!!
Their first touch (in a proper manner), first sensation, first kiss...all was so beautiful!! AMK became so human in this chapter, his strong will and self-control budged from its position and he caved in to desire!! And the beautiful part was how he immediately controlled himself later and understood her feelings though laced with a dull ache, he realised what and how she must feel about him and not for once he blamed her for what she said!!
And Heera's feelings, reactions and afterthoughts were also beautifully expressed by you!! It was not repulsion, anger, reproach but just a miscommunication at the spur of the moment laced with her insecurity about him and his profession that led to the deep abyss between them. Also maybe a little uneasiness about the whole situation and a little bit of ego also held her back from clearing up the situation!!
Now 2 hearts will be burning, craving, wanting, urging in longing unless he comes back from his mission trip!! Maybe deeper the longing, more will be the craving to be together and that might bring him back earlier than usual!! Was this trip actually planned or did he just make it up at that spur of the moment to go away from her?
Vaid Kaka's people at that precise moment reminded me of the maid of JA show right after the aarti scene!! 😃 I felt like telling them to go back, at least that way they would have returned together.
And finally, I landed in HBAS station for once!! 😃 I knew you wouldn't spend your words aimlessly in describing the heat for nothing when you are so careful as to the number of words in your chapter!! I knew he has planned something to get rid of the water shortage for the villagers and that is what he wanted to show her!! 😃
And he did walk on foot like her beau next to her riding on Bahadur!! In that heat, for so long, walking on foot, on rough terrains is no matter of joke, and if it wasn't for his love then what else can show his earnestness for his begum sahiba, for his 'Heera'!!
All I feel now is 'behene do, behene do, pyaasi hoon main pyaasi rehne do'!!
Thank you Lashy, you took me to paradise and back!! To me, Paradise was regained before it got lost again!! Milan huya ab bichhadni ki bari, the pain, the loss, the missing, the tears, the craving, the urges, the longing...all will create a tempest in the hearts of both!! And I will be there carried away in that tempest trying to find an anchor for myself to sustain and savor!!
