Sheesham is comparitively lighter in colour and is grained differently.

Sheesham is dense but porous and susceptible to wood insects. Due to its after work quality when sealed and dyed, it is often sold as genuine high quality rosewood.

Apart from the grains, the smell of the two differ when not polished. And you will also hear slightly different sounds when you knock against then. And carving is smoother and finer in the higher quality rosewood.

Nevertheless, Sheesham is also a type of rosewood though at the lower end of the spectrum and cheaper. The wood merchant even with all his dislike for Mughals wouldn't have dared to suggest country wood for the Mansabdar. His suggesting Sheesham was most natural. Not disrespectful, but expression of displeasure . Great job Lashy - all the background study.👏

The story goes thus..

Making all the readers love-smitten

How the couple draw near each other

She caring for him and he caring for her

How can there be a more meaningful romance

Than the two understanding each other at a glance

We stop before proceeding to the next scene of her writing

Unless we're satisfied with a second or third reading..

Her greatness is revealed when she orders his cabinet

The best wood available with the best workmanship (put) in it

She corroborates his clever lies to safeguard her community

She admires him for his tactfulness and his sincerity.

He found a haven for his horses royal

She understands his motive to be so very loyal

We cannot separate them and study them as two

As they are intertwined as one in their view..

Kakasa's signature laddus and Vaid kaka's folly

Give the readers the moments of happiness and jolly

Fun intended but, we could see his embarrassment

She watches it with eyes filled with puzzlement

He is drawing towards her step by step

To convince her carefully avoiding any misstep

The last laddu , playing the part of a cupid , is not so dumb

" The last one was mine..and I enjoyed it to its last crumb!"

With Khan Sahib in her mind and Samart Singh in her lips

She feels the metamorphosis taking place in her without any fuss

The metamorphosis took place also within me

But in the reverse order making me a teen!

Such is the effect of the Author's pen

That has won our hearts and (made us) read it again and again

The red lines according to some, are like the "stop" signal

We enjoy the sojourn by guessing what the story would foretell..

We already knew why Heera was needed there but the fact that he had already planned everything and presented the twisted explorer tale so neatly😲⭐️ ...no one can beat him in mind games.Heera being no less ,picked up and played along👍🏼. He placed his horses (shehzade's favorite ) in between to save Parnagarh..(Selvi di ,what a guess👏)...what if shehzade comes to know of this or pays a visit...he is an horse expert too wouldn't he understand .

You don't know how much relieved I was when the mining issue was sorted...can imagine Heera's happiness😳 I hope now she wouldn't think of him as greedy and selfish ,those words from her were heartbreaking 💔...she called him Khan sahib .

I had thought of asking you when or if Heera would now about Samarth singh and got the answer before asking 😆 .

Why did his truth always come out in the worst possible ways?

His laddu confession...so different from what we usually see or read ... last ..crumb ...of ..it..I got goose bumps. And the unique part was after seeing confession's effects on her cheeks,he didn't tease or said or do anything..he just wanted to explain himself which he did and left...that makes him so...so❤️❤️❤️
