A birthday dedication to the lady more beautiful than Heera, and more passionate than the Khan sahib, for she created them, this is the day when their creator was born...

Lashy wants to say something... 'Errr...' she twiddles her thumbs and thinks hard... then she looks up... looks down... she thinks harder... furrows her brows... Bites her lips... 'errr... Adwi...' she scratches her temple... and then thinks harder... but 'thank you' is all she manages to say

I... and numerous others... are so glad you decided to jump into the IF bandwagon... how could you not allow us the pleasure of your company for so long? And the lines above, I loved even more than those penned by Lord Byron... so I wonder what that says about the flair you have for expressing yourself...

I guess for a woman who is a mother, the most special thing which makes her super happy is something related to her kids but as I cannot post edit of your kiddos here so I decided to make an edit on your baby, Hiding behind a stranger.

Mahendar, Durga (I specially loved the fact that you used Ash for her) the Farmaan, Bahadur and the Marwari racer, the haveli, big bad Khalil ... it's all beautiful 🤗

and I made a picture Vm on Hiding Behind A Stranger.

Now this one would have taken you a very very very long time🤗!!!! And this in addition to the 4 days you already spent on the edit... (Makes me ask, do I really deserve this Payaliya?😭)

Nevertheless, I am so so so grateful for this one! I still remember the original video you made (a feat by itself) and here too, you've found very apt pictures... took me back to the canal scene and the internal turmoil at Aidabad they both faced. Plus, there was a short-and-only video of my favourite Jodha picture and Jalal... (the one with her next to that hanging lamp) I loved that bit

Really really really love you loads Payal.. 🤗 thank you for this... thank you for being here... and thank you for everything else you've done for me!!! I'll never forget it...

What can I say? I didn't expect that we would be blessed to read an OS from you, but we did!!!

And truly speaking, I didn't expect we would get one from Jalal's point of view before the wedding - a man's jitters (I've read numerous ones that deal with the woman's pre-wedding nerves, but not Jalals's!)

He sounds so young and fresh and vibrant.

royal members married for political reasons and not out of love, the political alliances had always been the ladder to strengthening the roots deepening it more that would make the Empire grow stronger and he knew this since his boyhood.

Jalal was angry, all he could remember was his wedding with his first cousin even when both were as young as eight years old and had absolutely no inkling about its commitments and importance.

Jalal had decided that when the time comes to take a wife yet again he would take his own decision

So well written dear👏 and rings so true!!! He would take his own decision, but fate had its own plans!!!

And it's all so mellow, realistic - with very little place for overt dramatization...

"I...I need some time to accept this relationship if you..." she said it all in one go.

Jalal squeezed her hands, lifting her chin; he said, "I shall wait till you are ready for it you can take your time"

This is how it would have been 500 years ago, wouldn't it? Not what was shown in the movie - and definitely not in the serial. So majestic and poised!!!

I loved it dear... and I cannot tell you what a pleasant surprise this was and how much the story touched my heart!

I rode with your stranger dear... and saw glimpses of all three stories that are close to your heart (dare I say???) NJAPA (a concerned bhaiyya?), PBD (Idiot, her bow) And HBAS (racing, glossary of contents😆)

Plus, how can I forget the 'Firsts are special!!!'

I laughed out loud at that point 😆

At first, I was wondering what twist Chellam was bringing when a handsome BMW driver with bluetooth, rolex & silky locks was at the station to pick this lone girl up! This couldn't just be a handsome stranger, a lone traveller she met at night - there has to be a twist...

And then, the near-accident happens! 😲

Later, when I found out what he was...who he was... I was

What a sweet man... following his father's advice - and it's true about cricket vs other sports!!! I am so glad Jodha recongnised him... I am sure he will soon recognise the beauty in her too (and not just the hazel eyes!!!)

And when is Chellam going to recognise that she doesn't have to write only twice in a year 😡
