You noticed everyone except one desperate and innocence soul always lingering only around HBAS!! 😭
Ok the underlined is the only point, I do not agree with... he did not mislead her by being/acting gentlemanly with her, if anything he was overall curt/brusque - kept it short etc ... remember how her maids were always teasing AMK that he's so rude... that is how he always is... reserved... aloof... only he couldn't be outright rude to HER because he respected her far too much for that.However, his vibes were always 'stay away' - even right until Bahadur incident... because he'd learnt from the beginning not to get personal with an 'assignment'. Even when he left for the capital (Chapter 15) as Ustaad, he'd hoped they would be gone by the time he'd returned since he had learnt by then that this party did not have the Farmaan with them...However, fate had other plans...Besides, Heera didn't fall for him because he was gentlemanly. It was the opposite. She'd met enough gentlemen in her life - Kunwar Mahendar (Supposed gentleman), her dad, her kakasa, Mohan banna etc etc...She fell for this man because he was a breath of fresh air... not so open doors/'Hello Sahiba' kind of gentleman... he was mysterious... he had a charm (and not just because he was handsome enough to die for)... his intelligence awed her (she'd finally found someone who matched her brainy self)... even if he wasn't a polite person by nature, his men seemed to love/respect him genuinely, which impressed her... moreover, she knew he wanted to keep away from her (starting right from canal encounter) which amused her and silently drew her more towards him.If anything, (in her heart) she sought his company more than he did... he was the one constantly fighting those feelings from the start... and even the one time she confessed to him about jiji/her fear etc - it was much too awkward for him to be there... he didn't emotionally twist her into saying anything, it just happened...But that's fate...And it is because he didn't do this intentionally... because he wanted to keep away from her for his sake, and for HER SAKE (to keep her away from the dark life he led) that makes me feel bad for him...It's because he never really 'acted' like a gentleman - but turned out to be the truest gentleman when time tested them (more than even kakasa or anyone else) is what makes me feel bad for him!He fought fought fought his feelings hard, but couldn't overcome them... and decided to embrace it now...She embraced, embraced, embraced those feelings against all odds then... and now he's going to have to fight to get them back...
