Lashy di, finally it happened . And I did not like the way it happened!!! I am kumbhkaran' decendent... never wake up this early... see what you have doneš”
>>>>š¤But seriously, loved Khalil's treatment .ā¤ļø His injured shoulder being stomped , his screams, his pain, humiliation... music to my ears. Akbar's glare, his 'I know to get better was.'
Thank you, Shruthi... I am glad you liked it...
1) When did Akbar promise shehzade that he won't kill Khalil? š
'So, with your permission Huzoor, I'd like to stop Khalil now...' is all that Akbar can ask... and all that Shehzaade will allow
Akbar cannot ask 'With your permission I will to end/finish/take my revenge on Khalil...'
Only stop Khalil now...
It's basically understood, Shruthi... that a prince is not going to allow one general to kill another general and his soldiers just because of some dispute over a girl (who's not even a royal) and a few lands... no way... it takes many years and a lot of investment into making powerful generals - the men who are going to lead his armies...
In the bigger picture, generals are important for a royal to maintain his power... a prince will try and avoid getting rid of a general unless there is no other way left...
2) And his men driven out matlab... they went back to capital without him?!
Eventually, most probably yes... but for now, they might be scampering on the look out for medical care first...
Why will Akbar and his men want to keep Khalil's men hanging around... so many more prisoners... all bleeding... so many more people to keep an eye on... so many more to feed? AMK is not here to take prisoners... he is only here to stop Khalil and his men and save her...
So, he just took their horses away and said... 'if you can walk up to the next town and find yourself a Hakim... well and good... warna...' that way, he hasn't killed any of the soldiers (so not answerable to Shehzaade).., but he hasn't helped them out, either!
3) When Khalil had a bad day, he did thisš²... now he is having the worst day... baba re... his vow... don't know what he will do now. Btw, with all the injuries and no horse, how will he go back, hope he dies on the way.
What will he do...
don't worry dear... you'll know when time comes... š
4) And Hakims... how did they come in dead night in middle of the jungle š².
How did Hakims go anywhere those days in the middle of the night? Since there were no hospitals those days, the people who had need for a doctor, used to send one of their family members in a carriage, tanga, horse or just go running... to one of the hakim's houses to fetch them...
each town and village would have their own hakims/vaidyas... and they would attend to cases anytime of the day... or they would lose their reputation, of course...
As for here, the Parnagarhis were just too exhausted to go to the nearest town so they halted here in the middle of the forest... but the nearest town was only about 10 miles away na...
Once AMK left her tent, he would have easily sent a couple of his men to the nearest town and had the Hakims brought back...
5) Poor Akbar... kya socho kya hua. Even I wanted her to know liked he had thought... but.. Felt really bad for himš. I remember, when we knew he was the ustaad, I thought when Heera would know this, of all things she will first accuse him of Durga's murder š. Comparison with Khalil š.
Heera š. This is too much diš. She wasn't even fully conscious and she faced the dreaded truth in worst possible wayš.
Yes we are all feeling bad for him and for her... it must be equally devastating for both!
6) But this wasn't her... maybe she shocked, dizzy, exhausted and the ultimate betrayal. She couldn't process it in her best frame of mind. She will understand. When she will analyze, she will know,if he was anything like Khalil, she wouldn't be the way she was now. if he only wanted the Farmaan, he would have never came back, if he wanted her lands or did this for money /promotion then why would he want to marry her?! Hai na...
We say all this because we have seen the story from his side, she hasn't... and just because AMK is decent with her, doesn't mean he is not a dangerous person...
It's not that Heera quivers at the sight of violence (she faced Khalil standing besides Gokul's dead body)
But... she woke up to find out AMK is nothing who she thought he was, and now, he looks so intimidating... that even Khalil (the worst man they know of, till now) is at his feet and mercy... what is she supposed to make out of it?
It would terrify any of us, right?
Plus, the minute she heard the word 'Farmaan' being told by AMK to Khalil she must have understood it all... that he is also here JUST FOR THE FARMAAN! Her heart must have sank and torn at the same time... after all, so far, EVERYONE is behind her for that one thing - Farmaan/Parnagarh... the Shehzaade... the other royals/merchants/businessmen... Khalil... now Kunwar Mahendar too...
The only person she'd hoped was away from all this political game was AMK... and that hope gone too...
So, now at first sight, what proof is there to say he's not doing all this for power too? Just because he came back? That is nowhere near enough to prove anything at this stage Shruthi...
Oopar se, all these other facts too...
What if he came back more because of his enmity against Khalil, rather than his concern for her? What solid proof does he have to convince her this is not the case?
If I see from her viewpoint, at this time, I cannot see a person worse than AMK in her life!
7) A bitterness was born.
^^^Its temporary, right?!
Time will tell... š
8) Why do I feel these Parnagarhis will take the' Khan Sahib being more than a businessman 'news quite positively. After all they left passed out Heera alone in tent on his orders š¤.
Parnagarhi men were already wounded by Khalil's men... they were in no condition to really say or do anything much... I'm sure they're having more-or-less mixed feelings at this point (it'll become clearer as chapters go)... they trust AMK, since they know him from before... they must be startled by his new avtaar though dont' know head or tail about it... they must be IMMENSELY relieved that AMK was here to save their baisa in time... I am sure, they weren't happy to leave Heera alone in the tent... and if AMK had guessed what would have happened, he might have had her shifted to the other end of the camp too with them... 'How many men did Khalil take along with him?'
'About 40 to 50... but, I heard he will be joined by a bigger army later'
'Will have to be like the steel of this knife... precise... quick... and quiet... only then can we reach him before its's too late... we have to prevent this from erupting into a full-scale war!'
Of course, Khalil didn't have plan of dragging all his soldiers here to the middle of the forest just to search for this small tukdi of people... the army mentioned above was meant for the attack & siege on Parnagarh (Rajasthan side)... currently, they are all stranded in the forests on the way back from Bansi (which is somewhere UP/MP border pe...)
So, now that Khalil is nowhere in sight, his army must be waiting Rajasthan border pe kahin... swatting flies at morning and mosquitoes at night...
Which is exactly why AMK said he MUST stop Khalil in time... (not only to save Harka's life, but also because it will blow up into a war if Khalil managed to get back to Parnagarh and give his army orders!) and result in the end of so many lives... š
10) Chellam's question - And also I would like to add another question to your list. How all other group joined Akbar? Azeez and Ibrahim??!! They took different route na. How they manage to come to the spot. Please elaborate this interesting reunion as well, Chellam. When it's come to HBAS, we don't want to miss any minute detail!!
They took different routes, but all were on parallel routes... remember? So not THAT far away... AMK would have sent out one of his men to call one of his groups who would have then sent other men/message to other group... like chain reaction... plus they are spies, forest trackers.. travel by these forests every month... know it in and out...
One more thing, I heard in those days, they also used to use horns and signals... they blew horns (with particular sound) to call out/alarm/alert their groups who were miles away... then that group to next group... that group to next group... that's how even spies in one state, used to quickly send messages all the way to the capital... about an imminent attack etc...
