the branch that's referred to as Akbhar Nawis (Police and intelligence) is the branch that AMK's men work as/work for. The men working under him would be called Waqia-Nawis! 😊

Note the difference in spelling😉

It's Akhbar - which means 'news' because they used to bring the capital any and every kind of news from different parts of the Empire!

Not Akbar (name of the Emperor/AMK) which translates to 'The great one'
