Hard times... the times were hard for Heera, quite so much..

-what with her messages hanging in an air of uncertainty, she herself is unsure about the fate of her messages, messengers and the much awaited reciprocation.

-what with her treatment ending in unanticipated failure... her most trusted chieftain in his death agony... and the only way to abate the agony appears... is to maim him physically for ever.

-what with her identity having being revealed and an escapade mission becoming an absolute necessity!

Thus quite understandably so her young heart seeks respite.. reassurance... and a brief spell of distraction to unburden her worries... and it's there because...

The Eyes Have It...all of it , rather, from the soothing conscience like company of a motherly maid, whose heart thinks and lives for her services... what an incredible lady is your Gauri! This enchanting soul... not just acts in favour of her mistress,so much so that, even before she unburdens her thoughts, she thinks twice... I'm sure and Heera would also agree with me, that Gauri is her lost mother in the guise of a maid! 😳

The Eyes have a tongue of their own accord, I say, otherwise how a pair of partially sighted mellifluous orbs so subtly communicates with a pair of deep dark ones, as dark as His reality, as guarded as His persona... surely the Eyes have a language of their own likeness, else how do the veils and curtains fail in their duties... how do they speak away, the Gratified and the Grateful... the Flickering Flame, so respectable and sacred and the Keeper of the Flame!

Most certainly the Eyes have it, else how could you write down something so sensational... so pure... so eloquent and yet so subtle!!

The Dip in the Pool... deep, deep and deeper still he plunged headlong, the icecold water whipping him out of fantasy if any... the musk washing away leftovers of a mesmerising encounter if any... hard voice of conscience resurrecting walls of resistance all over again... he plunged headlong into the swirling waves of the Pool of Agony!! Worse, He took us readers along with Him... still we are assured that at least He ATE before all that😉

I patiently wait for mysteries to unfold... and those segments of Raja Chittaranjan being to mere to write anything now, the bustling maids have been spoken about... and any ill effects of their evil eyes curbed with Saraswathi Aunty's remedies... so I will end my review, please bear with it! The very first portion of the current chapter filled my heart with an uncanny melancholy thought for a while... Not only for Mohan Banna, whose sincerity for his heiress along with love and respect reflected every moment of the conversation, from his eagerness to know about every details of the function to his concern for Heera's safety even in his agony which was clearly visible in the whole scenario, and simultaneously Heera's concern for Mohan and his health; but also the first line suddenly reminded me of Durga...😭 The 17 years old valiant girl was preparing herself for getting into bridal outfit after some days... her closer ones were preparing themselves for the celebration of her colourful marriage, and today what an irony of fate... they are conducting her funeral function! 😭 😭

Felt very sorry for Mohan too! You have described his pain so well with his stammering, drowsiness after taking drugs and all, that one can feel the pain he is going to! The level of faithfulness of this common worker of a little mansabdar is so deep-rooted that he does not hesitate to choose his death over his Baisa's safety! So Mohan Banna is going to have a major surgery of his leg! 😔 And I know with this we will get to see another important incident to move the flow of the story forward...

Gauri is not only very intelligent and mature, she cares for her friend just like her Jiji used to do! Loved this little instance of Gauri, how she understands Heera even before she herself gets to know about her heart, and her concern for Heera as she can foresee her future can be affected by the red eyes of the society... Heera is never alone in this world till she has faithful peoples like Mohan around her and a friend like Gauri...

So the seaech for Heera is going on! Hope Chittaranjan Kakasa does not get to find Heera soon! Else Heera will be in the clutch of that devil Mahindar!! 😡 😡

The self-talks of Heera in the form of her exchange of thought with her Jiji comes very beautiful to me... It shows Heera's dependency on her Jiji and how she achieves positive vibe from the remembrance of Durga... 😳

And then came the most important and rocking news, that Khan Sahib accepting Heera's invitation, attended the luncheon, and enjoyed their hosting fully. 😃 Though I would like to relish the scene Heera serving Khan Sahib food from her own hand, but its okay, more stored for future. 😃

And the gang of ladies of Parnagarh!! My God! Nowadays their favourite gossip id Akbar Khan's each and every details! What he eats, how much he ate blah blah blah 🤣 Want to know how AMK will react when he will know all the beautiful girls of Parnagarh are literally drooling on him! 😆 😆

The full conversation part was rofling! 🤣 🤣 🤣

The constant gaze of Harka on Akbar was☺️ The whole description was so so so beautiful!
