||Masked Murderer (Part 3)||
Sipping the hot liquid which was effectively soothing her worn sences Jodha once again went through the notes scribbled by Maan singh ,the more she looked at them , the more she got confused . Everyone seemed to be a suspect at that moment and she very well knew murderer will be someone totally unpredictable . She was lost analysing the facts when Maan singh entered her cabin .
Autopsy Report?? Darting a look at the intruder she then looked at the file in his hand , thinking it should be the report she asked hurriedly hoping for some clue which might lead her to the culprit .
Taking the seat in front ,he sighed ...The case is getting more and more complicated Madam he uttered in his weary tone .
Why do u think so Maan?? confused by his dampened spirit she asked .
Let me first read out the autopsy report madam ...he stated and started reading the content .
She has been killed by Maxim 9...9mm semiautomatic handgun with an inbuilt silencer option. Like we already know she was chloroformed by the murderer ,traces of chloroform were found around her mouth . Time of death is estimated to be between 6:00-8:00 , besides the wound there is not even a since scar found on her body . That's Just it Madam.
Discarding the report he looked at his senior who seemed pretty dissapointed .
She was desperately waiting for the postmortem report since the morning ,as she was pertty sure it will be helpful but lest ...it wasnt .
Closing her eyes ,she rubbed the creases on her temple , Maan singh ,if a murder has happened then surely there should be murderer too .He/she might be smart but not smarter than us . Anyways whats the time of death ?? She enquired again .
6:00-8:00 Madam he replied
Mr Mohammad got Adham khan's call at 7:30 ,till then he was with Rukkaiya, and ...Room servise boy saw the body at 7:55 and immediately called us , that means murder took place between 7:30-7:55 pm.she concluded after deducing all the facts provided by the suspects and the Report .
An idea popped in her mind ...which brought a new zeal in her ...Maan singh ...get me the call details of everyone between 6-8pm ,including their locations , im sure it will help us to some extent .
Anticipating his senior officer's intention ,he smirked with a nod .
Great !! ummm, Anything else about the victim ?? She queried again to which the sincere officer nodded his head in yes .
Gesturing him to continue she looked on with all her ears .
Rukkaiya sultan is very hardworking and trust worthy employee of MK industry , she was very much praised by her boss Mr Mohammad for her work, everyone of her level, envied her for the same reason including her own sister , till here everything is clear he paused momentarily to meet her curious gazes which were screaming to know more ....but what caught my attention is...Madam suddenly turned wealthy ,that too just in a day .
Getting a confused frown from Jodha he continued ...Madam, a huge amount of money has been credited into her account from an anonymous person an hour before her death .
Bewildered at the new point Jodha looked more confused ...indeed the case was more tricky than she expected .
Perceiving silence from his senior ,Maan singh quipped ...Dont worry madam ...i will get the details of this private account somehow reassuring Jodha he continued again ...but the question here is ..why will anyone transfer such a huge amout of money in someone's account ...untill and unless...he paused whilst Jodha continued .
Untill and unless ...he/she is getting something biggest in return she stated and asked Maan singh to leave immediately ...and get the call and account details asap .
Saluting her ,he exited the cabin briskly leaving a thoughtful officer behind .

A proud smile played on his lips as he approached his senior officer , he entered the cabin after knocking the door indicating his arrival.
Her eyes snapped up only to see Maan singh in front ...ur smile says u succeeded ..right ?? he confirmed her presumption with a slight nod before reaching her . Now shoot not wanting to waste any minute she hastily asked Maan while her keen ears were all set to sink in the information .

As soon as Mr khan left hotel ..he went to attend family function with his wife Mrs khan .

He was located in a nearby ,bar cum restaurant which is about 15 minutes away from hotel , but before that ,around 7:32, he was seen in hotel ... but Madam ...he paused looking pensive and continued somehow i dont feel like doubting him Madam ,havent u seen how desolated he was on hearing Rukkaiya's death ?? voiced Maan singh to which Jodha smiled meekly .
Maan singh ...dont forget appearances can be deceiving , Anyhow...u pls continue ...she asked
In between 6 -8 pm ...salima's mobile was tracked in her house itself (neither she received any call nor she dialled any number)...so there r least chances of her being culprit he uttered

Jalal's Brother in law ...salim Rehmaan he uttered making her more confuse .
Salim Rehmaan ?? Now who is this Maan singh ?? She asked raising her brow .
He is the most interesting character madam...He is Not only Jalal' s BIL ..but also the owner of his rival company ,the same company which bagged the project deal ...and ...he stopped in between increasing her curiosity by ten folds .
And what Maan singh ??...
And he is the owner of the same private account from which the transaction occured he smiled feeling the excitement of solving the case soon .
Really ?? Shocked to an extent she muttered aloud Does that mean Rukkaiya is the one who joined hands with rival company and selled the quotes ?? She looked uncertain
Madam...just think ...Jalal Mohammad ...great business tycoon one day finds his trust worthy P.A cheating him ...what will be his reaction ??? Dont u think he will be furious and might have killed her in rage ??He pointed the fact which made Jodha to think once again about this egoistic Man . No matter how much he irked her ...somewhere deep inside her heart she found him innocent .
In that case ..he would have just thrown her out of the company Maan singh...that would be more easy than ...planning and murdering someone isnt it ?? She reasoned and continued ...anyways ...i need Mr Rehmaan's details and Mrs ...umm i mean ...Mr Mohammad's ex wife's details too...and make sure they come to station tomorrow ..ok ?? Commanding him she flicked the pen between her fingers while her concentration was on the file in front .

Any information about Mr Mohammad's ex wife ??She asked straight away without wasting time .
Atifa Begum...Mr Mohammad's ex wife ...is absolutely innocent Madam...she has nothing to do with the case ...she was forcefully married to Mr mohammad by her family...her brother proposed this alliance ...as he very well knew Mr Mohammad is quite successful and Mr Rehmaan wanted to be in good terms with him ...so he proposed this aliance ...however it didnt work for Mr and Mrs Mohammad ...as they were poles apart ...adding it Atifa was already in love with someone elseand wanted to marry the person of her choice .which made the things worse between them ...after 6 months of their marriage they divorced each other and lead their own lives (Atifa married her lover and settled in USA) , the news about Rukkaiya sultan's affair and divorce between Mr and Mrs mohammad was fake ..just a rumourhe uttered all in one breath while Jodha seemed lost in her thoughts ...

U have to choose between me and ur Job Jodha...i dont want to see my wife running and chasing hard core criminals, neglecting my old parents . I leave it on u to decide ..who is ur priority ??

Tears welled somewhere back in her eyes ...but dared to come out of their territory , she left the house which she thought was her's ,she left her husband ..whom she lost ,loved and respected her for what she was . But she was wrong.
Both Jalal and Jodha were sailing on the same boat with a difference ofcourse ...there his wife left him ...and here she left her husband . Composing herself she asked again ...
What about salim Re... ?
She didnt even complete her sentence when they heard a knock at the door.
A tall lean man entered the cabin and introduced himself as salim Rehman ... extending his hand for a hand shake he asked ...why did u call me officer ??
As if u dont know anything she muttered under her breath and gestured him to sit ...to which he compiled immediately .
Well Mr salim...we r investigating
.Rukkaiya sultan's murder case ...im sure u know her ,dont u ?? Anyways ...we suspect ur hand in this case...and dare u deny it becoz we have an evident proof against u ...she tried the trick which she used and surprisingly worked on most of the criminals in her entire carrier.
An evil smile echoed in the room , officer ...if u really had a proof againt me ...u would have caught and thrown me behind the bars by now he stated as a matter of facts .
Wise man ...she agreed ...anyways clarify few of our doubts ..then u will be freed from the case ,if prooved innocent ,ok ??
On getting his confirmation she continued ...did u steal MK's (Mohammad and khan 's company) quotes
Yes he replied coolly .
Was it Rukkaiya ..who helped u ?? Came her instant question .
Dont know he answered casually shrugging off his shoulders .
The case was already twisted and in between his casual attitude was annoying her to the core ...snapping her patience .
Mr salim ...what do u mean by dont know ?? I guess there is no need to remind u the fact that there has been a huge amout of money debited from ur account and has been credited in Rukkaiya's she roared slapping the table which scared salim for a second ...but soon he composed himself .
Calm down officer ...trust me i have nothing to do with this case...agreed i stealthy bought the quotes for my company and i know its wrong too ...but that's how it goes in business world ...kaam naam dand bhed ...we have to use all these tricks ,week ago i got a call from a local number ...it was a lady who was ready to steal MK's quotes and give it to me ...in return i was asked to pay her heavy amount ...i readily agreed as i was pleased with her idea...and when the work was dont i paid her ...later when i investigated who the lady was out of curiosity ...i came to know about Rukkaiya ...it was her account number ...i felt bad for Jalal for trusting someone who does'nt deserve, but then a small loss wont effect him much will it ? So i laughed it off and enjoyed my victory... trust me on this officer ,ur wasting ur time after me.
completing his stance he smiled confidently , they might file a fodgery case against him but cant suspect him in this case ...and like he thought he was asked to leave ...once again making Jodha thought full .
She was lost in the case ,she knew Salim was saying truth , totally involving herself ...she went through all the deductions , proofs , postmortem report ..she read and re read everything ,stress lines formed on her forehead .
Madam dont take so much stress , today or tomorrow we will solve this case , u r so lost that u r not even noticing the buzzing sound of ur mobile ... even in the morning i called u so many times but u didnt attend ...
A half smile made its way on her lips , she was so glad to have Maan singh as her co partner...his concerned words calmed her sences ...a minute later her eyes dazzled as something important hit her mind this time...which she missed earlier .
Maan singh ...get me the call details again...and this time i want a record of the whole day .
Sending him on the mission she leisurely sat on her chair with her head resting back and legs crossing .
An hour later Maan singh appeared ...unable to discern what was going in his senior officer 's mind ...her smile widened which didnt go unnoticed by Maan...he knew she solved the case ...
Who is the culprit Madam ?? He asked straight which made her chuckle a bit .
Its time for showdown Maan singh ,call everyone to station tomorrow , Adjusting her cap she sported a smile and left the room with a lopsided smirk .
