INTRODUCTION

Disclaimer: In the beautiful city of Verona,where our story takes place, a long-standing hatred between two families erupts into new violence, and citizens stain their hands with the blood of their fellow citizens. Two unlucky children of these enemy families become lovers and commit suicide. Their unfortunate deaths put an end tothing parents' feud. For the last years we will watch the story of their doomed love and their parents' anger, which nothing but the children's deaths could stop...
Let's see how they fell in love with each other and how their love story take a very sad end...
And ya one more thing I am not born writer if I mistaken to justify their love plz forgive me...

PARIS

It's a words enough to describe the beauty of Paris...

VERONA

Mentione the name Verona and you immediately associate with romance and tragedy of Romeo and Juliet... This popular tourist destination is likely to draw hoards of romantic hopeful flocking to its shores along the Adiger river in search of love and adventure.

INTRODUCTION

JODHA -- Jodha is much more than just a pretty face. She's smart, witty, and determined. She knows what she wants, and she gets it. The daughter of Bharmal and Maina. A beautiful thirteen-year-old girl, Jodha begins the play as a nave child who has thought little about love and marriage, but she grows up quickly upon falling in love with jalal, the son of her family's great enemy. Because she is a girl in an aristocratic family, she has none of the freedom jalal has to roam around the city, climb over walls in the middle of the night, or get into swordfights. Nevertheless, she shows amazing courage in trusting her entire life and future to jalal, even refusing to believe the worst reports about him after he gets involved in a fight with her cousin. Jodha's closest friend(moti) and confidant is her nurse, though she's willing to shut the Nurse out of her life the moment the Nurse turns against jalal. It's Jodha who proposes to jalal, not the other way around. She begins as a nave girl who's dependent on her family and ends up a woman willing to desert that family to be with the man she loves. Where does this maturation takes place? We see something going on when Jodha meets jalal. Jodha who sighs at the beginning of the balcony scene that jalal would be perfect if only he weren't a Montague is not the same Jodha who tells jalal, wonderingly, "My bounty is as boundless as the sea / My love as deep. "

JALAL -- The son and heir of Humayu and Hamida. A young man of about sixteen, jalal is handsome, intelligent, and sensitive. Though impulsive and immature, his idealism and passion make him an extremely likable character. He lives in the middle of a violent feud between his family and the Capulets, but he is not at all interested in violence. His only interest is love. At the beginning of the play he is madly in love with a woman named Shivani (jodha's baby sister), but the instant he lays eyes on Jodha, he falls in love with her and forgets Shivani. but jalal goes to extremes to prove the seriousness of his feelings He secretly marries Jodha, the daughter of his father's worst enemy; he happily takes abuse from Sujamal; and he would rather die than live without his beloved. Jalal is also an affectionate and devoted friend to his relative Abdul, Mirza, and Raj.

RAJ -- Raj is friend to both Jalal and Jodha. Kind, civic-minded, a proponent of moderation, and always ready with a plan, Raj secretly marries the impassioned lovers in hopes that the union might eventually bring peace to Verona. As well as being a Catholic holy man, Raj is also an expert in the use of seemingly mystical potions Apothecary

ABDUL -- A kinsman to the Prince, and Jalal's close friend. Abdul overflows with imagination, wit, and, at times, a strange, biting satire and brooding fervor. Abdul loves wordplay, especially sexual double entendres. He can be quite hotheaded, and hates people who are affected, pretentious, or obsessed with the latest fashions. He finds Jalal's romanticized ideas about love tiresome, and tries to convince Jalal to view love as a simple matter of sexual appetite.

MOTI -- Jodha's nurse, the woman who breast-fed Jodha when she was a baby and has cared for Jodha her entire life. A vulgar, long-winded, and sentimental character, the Nurse provides comic relief with her frequently inappropriate remarks and speeches. She is Jodja's faithful confidante and loyal intermediary in Jodha's affair with Jalal. She provides a contrast with Jodha, given that her view of love is earthy and sexual, whereas Jodha is idealistic and intense. She believes in love and wants Jodha to have a nice-looking husband, but the idea that Jodha would want to sacrifice herself for love is incomprehensible to her.

SUJAMAL -- A Capulet, Jodha's cousin on her mother's side. Vain, fashionable, supremely aware of courtesy and the lack of it, he becomes aggressive, violent, and quick to draw his sword when he feels his pride has been injured. Once drawn, his sword is something to be feared. He loathes Montagues.

BHARMAL -- The patriarch of the Capulet family, father of Jodha, husband of Maina, and enemy, for unexplained reasons, of Montague. He truly loves his daughter, though he is not well acquainted with Jodha's thoughts or feelings, and seems to think that what is best for her is a "good" match with Sharif uddin. Often prudent, he commands respect and propriety, but he is liable to fly into a rage when either is lacking.

MAINA -- Jodha's mother, Capulet's wife. A woman who herself married young (by her own estimation she gave birth to Jodha to the age of fourteen), she is eager to see her daughter marry to Sharif uddin. She is an ineffectual mother, relying on the Nurse for jodha and pragmatic support.

HUMAYU -- Jalal's father, the patriarch of the Montague clan and bitter enemy of Capulet.

HAMIDA -- Jalal's mother, Montague's wife. She dies of grief after Jalal is exiled from Verona

SHARIF UDDIN -- A kinsman of the Prince, and the suitor of Jodha most preferred by Capulet. Once Capulet has promised him he can marry Jodha, he behaves very presumptuous toward her, acting as if they are already married.

BHAGWAN DAS -- Montague's nephew, Jalal's cousin and thoughtful friend, he makes a genuine effort to defuse violent scenes in public places, though Mercutio accuses him of having a nasty temper in private. He help Romeo get his mind off Shivani, even after Jalal has fallen in love with Jodha.

ABUL MALI -- Abul mali charged by Raj with taking the news of Jodha's false death to Jalal in Mantua. He is held up in a quarantined house, and the message never reaches Jalal.

REVA -- Jalal's dedicated servant, who brings Jalal the news of Jodha's death, unaware that her death is a ruse.

The BHAIRAM KHAN -- An apothecary in Mantua. Had he been wealthier, he might have been able to afford to value his morals more than money, and refused to sell poison to jodha.

ADGAH SHAB -- A Capulet servant who invites guests to Capulet's feast and escorts the Moti to meet with Jalal.

SHIVANI -- The woman with whom Jalal is infatuated at the beginning . Shivani does not have a any main role in my story but it is said by other characters that she is very beautiful and has sworn to live a life of chastity.
