This humble message comes to you,

The only heir left to protect Parnagarh, the land of valleys,

The region , rich with iron ore and lots of fields

Of barley, wheat, pulses and oilseeds

And villages that are alive

Gifted to Mansabdar Jagatprasad singh once

By the Shahenshah of Moghul sultanate.

And our ownership of the palace and the lands

Was continued and confirmed by a farman issued,

Since we fulfilled all the conditions

That were therein stipulated..

But...

Durga Bai, my protector, who was really a heera,

Anything she touched blossomed, anyone she treated healed,

Poor she, fought with her sword

To protect the Farman and save the title,

With no one to help her, all alone and in fear,

Alas, had to beg and plead...shedding her tears

The proud heiress relinquished her ego

To plead for her modesty ..

She lost her self

Together with her farman and finally her life

To the infamous and ruthless messenger Khalil.

Now at this desparate hour

I come to you for a favour

As she would say in her words

"Your mind is a weapon stronger than my sword"

Hence,

Please stand by me...

A lonely warrior with only a strong mind..

Please show your support for the great warrior Durga Bai

Who sacrificed her self, for the sake of her subjects

By helping me to bring the criminals to justice

Please speak up for Panagarh in court..

A silver goblet of Sherbet for him...

But, all is not what it seems!

Because she is...

"Hiding the hurt, hiding the pain

Hiding the tears that fall like rain

Saying she's fine, but she's anything but

This ache in her soul rips at her gut

Her soul is on fire she burns from within

The calm on her face is an ongoing sin.

Because for him...

The world must stay out, he's built up a wall

His lies will collapse, should it ever fall

Loneliness consumes him, it eats away the years

Until his life is swallowed by the darkest fears

He knows not he's waiting for someone to see he wears a mask

Or that he wants someone to remove it, but is that too much to ask?"
