Fortnights have passed only since they have married, and within this period Jalal seems to be a stranger to her. This man is not the one whom she had loved

Now she sees the reality!

man is not the one whose memories had never let Jodha to choose any better person as her life-partner in so many years!

Oh.. so this was the locha?

so the greed of getting him back rose in the deep of heart. But after marriage everything changed so drastically!

Is this why you said none of the three of them are totally innocent?

What has Jalal done whose guilt is not letting him to come out from this loop?

How did she get the pills to commit suicide? Who gave her the pills? Meena? The nurse? Or...

"You yourself had told me to meet you before going home..." Meena uttered in a very low and shy tone. "You told that you will give medicine for stomach pain..."

the only smiley thing to happen in your entire story, Stuti😆

Can any wife bear his husband to roam around with some other g..."

Blabbermouth!😆

Her words stung Jodha's ear suddenly. "Was the reason of their fight me?"

Says a lottt!

The suspicious environment of the house was bringing fear in mind now.

^^^ this describes the premise of your story now

his hand got the touch of her shoulder, but it seems her heart has gone too far away to be touched!

😭

I want you! I want you like my old days!

I will be there between you both! I will not die so easily!

😭

He is ditching her... just like he did with...

😲

"Is the chapter really over?"

Seeti maar line this, Stuti!⭐️

"As her doctor I have the right to know."

*gulp* another seeti maar line!

"Yes I did taking a grand risk for my professional life in your request only to relieve you from the problems of police case..."

I took the foil of pills out of the cupboard; mixed those in her water... not by mistake but deliberately... because I wanted freedom from her! That's what you want to hear na? Yes I have... I have..."

Ok I'd thought he looked the other side when she died sorta stuff... but this is cold blooded murder

Also, can a woman live with a man forever on the basis of pity only and no love and respect?

^^^Exactly!

The woman, who could not spend a moment without shouting on me, chose the way of silence to fight against me! Why??"

I loved the way you formulated this sentence... amongst the many pearls of your writing I picked this mother pearl!🤗

Jodha stared at his eyes in a stunned glare... perhaps was watching the picture of that night through his words, to understand her!

Beautiful👏

She will not think for a moment if he wants her to be his life-partner even now... she will complete his vacant life with all her love and concern... He will be happy again...

"Jalal!"

"Y... you ha...haven't s...slept yet?" She whispered! Someone strangled Jalal's throat from inside! He stood like a statue, holding the glass in hand! What had happened to him? What was he going to do? Had he become mad??

See this is the point where he remains a villain to me... maybe not to Jo and not to the law... but he had mixed the pills, and prepared to give it to her...and no he hadn't stopped either... not until Ruqaiyya had called out to him... his conscience didn't shake him till someone else's voice did it for him! So, we'd never know if he would've gone on to do it...

(Btw, why did he confess to Jodha twice that he was the murderer, giving her a detailed description of incidents that didn't take place)

And then... she herself finished everything! For Jalal's happiness? Or to secure her place inside Jalal's heart forever? As a scar?

A question you've left hanging... maybe even Ruqs doesn't know the answer.. Either way, maybe Ruq's suicide is the reason why Jalal is not in jail today.. he can still look forward to a life... time heals many things ... 10 years from now he can at least hope to have a walk in the park with Jodha...

and however evil Ruqs was, ^^ this couldn't have happened without her intervention!

Unless of course, she eventually died..

very powerful writing... but from one writer to another.. I salute you for two things

1) Sticking to what you promised - a tragedy, with no particular protagonist... ! That's brave!

2) Keeping it a ss and ending where you said you would! it might seem tempting to keep continuing based on reader's requests... but the story loses its flair

Kudos dear🤗

Actually you know what it's not very tough to write something like Jalal has come out of the grief and having a happy life with Jodha... but what I feel is somehow it will kill the essence of the story. I mean, let's imagine about their life after this; but it will seem not to be linked with the very story as the way it's ended, will not match with a happy epilogue.

Unless you give epilogue then we will get a glimpse of what happened to the two after!

But thanks for pms for this story really enjoyed it keep up the great writing👏😃

Thank you so much my dear for liking this story so much! only because of yours motivation, I got to end this story. Thank you all so much for supporting me.😳😳

Epilogue does not seem a good idea to me actually. Neither I think I would do justice to it.😛

Only my opinion. 😊

You wrote with great talent; very painfully...

Thank you very much.😳

In this chapter I don't like the behavior of Jodha. She acts as a hypocrite (goody-goody), and not as a loving woman. There is a saying: "To be holier than the Pope". She judges Jalal of intention (!) in a moment of despair and an act that he didn't. She completely ignores the hell in which he lived - not because Rukaya was sick and the disease ravaged of him. This hell was herself Rukaya.
I understand your point. But how much possible it is to be cool if one hears her husband has killed his ailing ex-wife to marry with her? Is it very easy for her to judge Jalal's mental state at the very time? She understood him, later and so her pity, sympathy and love reconciled though she could not move herself to him. Jodha does not claimed herself as the greatest lover here, she is just a human like us. [And she has a very minor role to play here too😛]

Perhaps I have a different opinion, because a different mentality ...😊

Not like that Zehana... As I said Jodha plays a minor role, maybe I was not attentive to build her love and faith towards Jalal...Thanks for sharing your views to me.🤗

But loving a woman should not recoil. Jalal - not a killer. Yes, his action is worthy of condemnation. But relatives of sick people - is a group of risk of psychological disorders affect. Even if Jalal would gave her this pills, they would have to discuss it, to decide how voluntary a confession ... a lot that could be done, but Jodha should not become a judge.

Jodha would not become a judge... She is sensible enough to act as you stated... It was just an outburst due to shock. 😛

This is my opinion, not because I'm on the side of Jalal. I just know that is a very sick person, and how it affects the family. And if it's such a nasty person like Rukaya? The psychological state of families is terrible, they will lose the strength of mind
and understanding. Not for an justification, but for a clear understanding.

Yes you're right. Under that psychological pressure only Jalal was going to take such a step; and that compelled Ruqaiya to take such that step...None can be blamed here.

Thanks for your review Zehana!🤗

Beautiful👏

Thanks again. 😃

Yeah that's right. 😔 But sometime we need a shake from outside to feel the shake of conscience from our soul...

(Btw, why did he confess to Jodha twice that he was the murderer, giving her a detailed description of incidents that didn't take place)

The main reason is to raise the readers' bp. 🤣

Well, he confessed that he was the murderer as he believes him to be the murderer of Ruqaiya... as his intention was completely to kill her, and it was only him who led Ruqaiya to kill herself. THis fact was toiling his heart so he confessed it to Jodha. And he was telling he mixed the pills in water which he actually did... he threw that off after understanding his mistake that he didn't mention before.

And then... she herself finished everything! For Jalal's happiness? Or to secure her place inside Jalal's heart forever? As a scar?

A question you've left hanging... maybe even Ruqs doesn't know the answer.. Yes that's true... Ruqaiya actually saved Jalal from every side by killing herself.

and however evil Ruqs was, ^^ this couldn't have happened without her intervention!

Unless of course, she eventually died..

The most valuable things for me.🤗

1) Sticking to what you promised - a tragedy, with no particular protagonist... ! That's brave!

Awww. 😳

2) Keeping it a ss and ending where you said you would! it might seem tempting to keep continuing based on reader's requests... but the story loses its flair

It's not easy to continue the story from right here too... I am getting a lot of request to give an ending with Jalal and Jodha's happy life, but it might fail to keep the intrigue and charm of the story.

Thank you so much Di. 😳

Kudos dear🤗

Thanks for keep me motivated with your comments. 😃

Stuti,
You ended this one??😲

I'm sorry for not commenting on this one till now.Honestly,I didn't know what to say on such a complicated story.😳

Your expertise in portraying human emotions in the most convincing and natural way isn't new, anymore. But,with this SS..I was left speechless,dear..hats off to you👏👏 for picking up this storyline and presenting it flawlessly.

There are so many lines I loved immensely. You are an AWESOME writer,Stuti👏

What do I say about the characters??They were shaped very practically⭐️.I'm fond of happy endings, but here,it's difficult to expect one.JoJa might move on with mutual support after few years though it's not so easy. But,Jalal can never come out of the guilt completely though he can lead a normal life with Jo.Well, anything could happen.

It's upto you to decide the fate of this SS..epilogue or no epilogue is your wish😊

Thanks a lot for the SS and keep writing more.
