Catty di... 'Kanna' is a South Indian derivative of Krishna.. or Kanha... also, in tamil 'Kannu' means little one/apple of my eye etc...
nevertheless, 'Kanna' can be translated as 'dear one' 'mischievous one' etc.. used for both girls and boys, but generally used for someone younger than you!
You don't call someone older to you 'kanna'

I'd say a North Indian equivalent to it would be 'choti'????

You actually explained 'kanna' so well...how can you!!! Btw, have I told you I love this term?😆

Anni in Tamil has a different meaning ... it means sister-in-law/bhabhi

Anni in Telugu (I am no expert... would prefer someone more fluent in the language confirming this one) has a completely different meaning... it's a word, generally used as prefix with words that basically means 'lots'
like how we say 'lots of'
I found an example in google Anni-naalu means 'many days'

Right...but you are not supposed to stop adding the 'da' in the end of your sentences when you talk to me, I like that the best

As usual, an amazing update 👏. You have created a fictional world and we r wandering in that land.

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank you so much for these lines... means so much!

I luv d pics u give for each chapter. Heera hiding her face is my favourite one. She appears to be an enigma.

That one seems to have won the competition hands down!😆

Slowly d nature of d characters r unfolding. U have beautifully portrayed d interaction between Akbar and his horses; how he understands them. U must have done research on horses and horsemen.

Yes... otherwise a city-bred girl like me... I have absolutely no idea about horses.. never interacted with them in anyway...😭 never even did those 25 Rs rides on the beaches...

But not only horses...🤓 many terms used here like the distances, coins, metals, weapons, food, places, weather all of it.. I'm certain even then, a historian would be reading the content with a 'frown'

So, behind d hard exterior of Akbar, a soft heart exists.

😉

I loved d line expect the unexpected! So these words will be appropriate for Akbar when he falls for Heera.

Aha!

You have another visitor...' he chirped 'Harka Sa...'and just as his pace dropped slightly. Was he expecting Harka Sahiba herself ?

What do you think?

I'm surprised actually no one else picked up on that point... 😉

The chief maid, who was quietly watching on, impressed by the sensible explanation and yet wondering if her baisa could come up with that explanation so promptly because she'd already spent time mulling over the stranger. This chief maid is really smart; already suspecting something.

Of course... but, we would too na... if our closest friend/sister.. was behaving oddly... we'd be able to sense it!

I love d character Heera. She is kind hearted, lovable and at d same time demands respect and has command over her people. I think she is the person who'll never ask Akbar to help her in her mission. But Akbar will be respectful/attracted/feel protective about her and end up carrying out her mission.

Wait and watch dear.. hope the rest of the story grabs your interest too🤗

I might have to start my agenda... here... at Aidabad...' So, they won't be able to move from Aidabad soon and d story plot will unravel here. Eagerly waiting to know, under what circumstances they'll come face to face.

Hmmm...

Btw, does d Ustad in d previous chapter has something to do with Akbar?

I really appreciate your effort to give us updates regularly 🤗.

Thank you so so so much.. your first review on this story na.. hope it's first of many more to come

It could be contextual, Payal.. that's why I asked you to find out which language first..
In tamil there's only one meaning I'm aware of.. I guess you're searching for the Telugu one, if PBD has led you on this quest 😆
