Firstly apologies for being so damn late with the reading, I seem to have lost touch with IF in the past year or year and a half. (Doesn't mean you'll be forgiven for thinking I won't read it).

So coming to the chapters, because I'm super late and your threads seem to be among the most popular ones they get filled like magic! Ok, enough of my rant..moving on..

Have loved these brave, courageous kinda women always.. but I have started loving them 10 times more since NJAPA and our Jo. And here it's Durga and Heera! Such headstrong, fiery and inspiring ladies..they command respect.

I started writing thinking I'll cover all the four chapters, but after the third chapter I seem to be able to think of nothing else! I'm gonna try though.

The 1st chapter:

Well, firstly not really fond of the Shehzade as of now, but don't know why I would like to give him a chance.

But one doubt here..does he trust and love Khalil just for the warrier that he is and saving his life more than once or is he aware of the kind of disgusting animal he is as well?? Because if it's the latter, I'm gonna hate the Shehzade as well.

Time will tell... lol

I said it before, I say it again.. Durga and Heera are truly inspiring characters!

I love the fact that they believe in themselves and have it in them to govern the whole of Parnagarh and do not give in to male egos.

I love the fact that Durga, even in that time had it in her to put down her own terms and reject the suitors who couldn't stand her guts.

I loved the shrewd Durga at the time of bidding, I'm a sucker for people who's brains work like magic! (I even loved Maham Anga just for this! Sadly she used it for the wrong reasons..Lol)

Yes Durga... seems to have made quite an impact... so much so.. that she is still discussed as much as the rest of the characters are 😊

A list of others I loved right from the first chapter...

The maids- Their love and dedication towards their baisas stands out in every bit of the story.

Ratan kaka...I love him too, he's adorable with the counting bit, and of course his love for Durga and Heera.

2nd chapter:

Heera's character came out so beautifully in the first half, right from ending the fight between Bindiya and the horse keeper to her conversation with him and ofcourse her offering them snacks as they left. And I like the 'look' she gave her people way too much!!!

Seeing a blissful Durga in the company of the man she loved made me so happy. Her riding skills, her silent communication with her horse, the little teasing between them and the fact that among all the men, she found her Kuwarsa who genuinely loved her...loved every bit.

Heera and her description of her prince charming on her maids' insistence was fun! They were sooo eager to know how the man of their baisa's dreams looked..

😆 yes!

And the last part of the chapter...Durga was simply superb!!!! Her courage, conviction and determination make her just perfect! She tried to calm all her loved ones when she herself knew how uncertain her return was. Her last conversation with Heera, explaining to her the responsibilities she would have to handle when she isn't there was so so so emotional.

😭 true!

3rd chapter:

I frankly don't know what to say. I literally cried picturing Durga's fight till the very end. She just never gave up, for a single second! A true warrior in every sense.. I was so so so proud of her!!!

As for Khalil, I don't seem to have words enough to say how much I loathe him. My blood boiled reading waht he did to Durga. This animal needs to rot in hell and deserves to be tortured to death before that.. I'm counting on Heera to avenge her jiji's death and modesty. Durga didn't deserve to die...a precious soul..it's heart breaking!

And I love the way you wrote it..first he snatched the farman, then her modesty and then her life...(don't remember the exact words, just remember that I loved how you wrote it).

Heera's condition on this was just as heart-wrenching. But she is a fighter, waiting for the day she'll go ahead all prepared to destroy the monsters. Loved how her jiji's voice gave her strength, even if it was just a hallucination. She is slowly coming out of this ordeal and the way I see the future, she is gonna make me damn proud of her!!

Harka, the healer is amazing as well...she's truly gifted.

Yes Heera is different from most other heroines I've watched or read about! At least, I hope that's how it turns out... lol..

And here comes the stranger guy, I like Harkia's first thought on hearing his voice.. interesting guy, though he charged for the water.

4th chapter:

The stranger again..and I'm excited!!! And I almost blushed reading the chapter, especially the last part of it.

I already said I love shrewdness, he has that in him for sure..so already scored a point there!

He doesn't seem to be very concerned about others' feelings, not an iota of kindness or empathy for others. Guess he's yet to discover these 'presently alien' feelings and a lot more in the times to come.

And it seems to have started I suppose...a guy indifferent to anyone and anything, notices this stranger lady's hezel eyes(Loved that moment between them!) and her grace! That's a great start, my dear man!!

This is a long one..don't get bored reading it ha..saying this because I've written for all the 4 chapters and am pretty late.

Bored? Why would I get bored, dear? 😆 it was lovely! 🤗

Ok, a little more that struck me now..I love how there are also casual moments which may not be particularly significant, yet they add so much to the story! Each character has their own private, casual moments where they are normal people, just like us.

As for your writing, well I think you already know how much I love it. It's MAGIC, every bit of emotion you bring into it and how beautifully you make your characters...they stay with me from start to end and even years after that!!!(Haven't forgotten my NJAPA Jalal, he's still MINE!!)

Lastly, I miss those NJAPA days so very much! I feel those days are back now, I'm commenting on IF the first time after NJAPA...it feels amazing!!! Thank you so much for this...loving every bit of it.

P.S. 1) Did I mention I love the banners? They look like they are painted...are they? They are beautiful...
