"Jalaal!" Humayun called him with a bit of loud voice. His thought broken suddenly. With shock he saw his parents who were looking at him with a question mark on their face.

"What happened beta? What are u thinking?" Humayun asked with a soft voice now.

"No nothing Abbujaan, nothing I was thinking about work, it's too much pressure in bank these days, Bengali new year is coming so pressure increased...that all!"

God knows what happened to u till last night, u r behaving like u r thinking about the problem of the whole world!!!" Hamida mockingly said.

"Eh...no no ammijaan" Jalal stammers. Its nothing like that...He he..." he laughed

"Don't show ur teeth jalal u look like fool u know that?" Hamida rolled her eyes. "I know you thinking about Jodha" Hamida blinked her eyes.

Jalal was shocked. How come she know about what I am thinking. Oh god, he hope that she don't come to know which kind of thing he was thinking about her.

I know every thing jalal" Hamida plastered a big grinning smile on her face and asked him " so now tell me what is your opinion about her and your marriage?"

Jalal stopped drinking his black tea. He was thinking exactly about this moment. "now what to say?" he thought.

He cleared his throat and starts "ahhm...ahh..Ya she is beautiful, nice...ahm" Hamida clapped hardly on the table "jalal Oh god, didn't you have learned any other adjective about girls other than nice. You look like that actor Saif Ali khan on that Asian Paint advertisement who says only nice...nice...nice...ahhhggg" she got irritated.

"Ammijaan please now you are overreacting" Jalal said with a little mischievous threatening.

"Then tell us na Jalal, what you feel about Jodha?" at last Humayun asked.

In his mind he said how to tell u all that I just feel to run and pick Jodha and go to some nearby temple and got married to her in this moment' Bt he thought to keep quiet.

He put his tea cu on the plate, " She is...ammm...yes...beautiful. I mean I feel she is she is good in nature and if you think she is perfect match for me then its ok with our choice, bt if you want yo know about my opinion then I will say..."

He keep quiet for a second, Humayun and Hamida just starring at him without breathing. " I would say...I...like her and It ..would be a pleasure to get marry to an innocent girl like her. I will marry her, I have no problem with this marriage" he said in low voice looking at his tea cup.

Humayun and Hamida atlast got breath together.. "huh! God atlast bless us with breath" both said and laughed together loudly.

Jalal was just starring at his parents. Can't believe about their antics. "Are they my parents?" he thought "they are so melodramatic!!!" he nodded his head left to right with frown face.

Present

Sitting in the Attic thinking about the moment he said yes to the marriage, he smiled how his parent were eager to listen a yes from him...

He knows Jodha must be cursing the moment he said YES. Now what to do. The marriage is done. "I am the one who said YES to this marriage. And snatched her happiness, her dreams with the mas she loves. I never think about my happiness. Bt what if she left me someday? She loves someone bt married me. That means she had been pressured or threatened. And if she had been pressurised. That means her family knows about her love for her lover. That's y they married her to me to get rid of her love sickness towards her lover. They used me to get rid of her love. For god sake she is a human being not a bloody machine. She loved someone not killed anybody. Now she hate me that I am the one who said YES and in het place she is absolutely right. Now what to shall I do?"

"DIVORCE?"

His heart sank thinking about the word divorce. He feared thinking she will left him one day. In these 2 months from the day he saw her photo in his heart there is a place created automatically for her. He don't know when? How?

The thought of her being his wife gives him a fresh hope to live his happiness which he never feel.

In these 2 months there is not a single moment when he didn't think about her. In bank many of his colleague uncountable times push him back from his la la land to reality. In nights sometimes he dreamed erotic moments with her. In these two months he consider her as his wife with his full heart. He surrendered his heart at the very moment he saw her coming down toward the wedding mandap in her bridal attire. Bt he don't know that all his hope, his dreams, his feelings, his fantasies will become a big lie within next few hours. And he will be there with empty handed on their very first wedding night.
