2..the king who very well knows, that this whole conversion thing is a major plot to dethrone him and the backstabber is somebody from his very own circle...and for this , I felt he suspects Maham...coz just after DEK where he orders atga to find the culprit, he comes directly to Jo, only to find Ruku , Maham and others pressurising her, and thus increasing his suspicion and he just announces that Jo will not do anything against her wish...Ruku and Maham should have taken clue from that, but these two women who claim to understand and rule Jalal's brain, don't understand him even a bit...

3.. when Jalal declares Rahim ans his successor , it means everybody losing their positions... not only all Vazirs, but even his own family...coz when Jalal won't be the king , how can Ruku be BEK? and after JAlal's decision, Ruku's shocked expressions and the fear on her face was clearly showing that she understands the meaning of Jalal's decision...and this is one more reason for Ruku to hate Jo... coz for the same girl, who has rejected Jalal's rights as husband, Jalal was ready to leave his throne, thus making everybody else lose their powers, they love so much...

4..Ruku's husband, who doesn't like his begum's interference in his very personal space, and hence, he gives her one more shock, by claiming that he spent night with Jo in same tent...how I wished that he tells ruku that not only that one, but every night (right from Agra to that stormy night), both he and Jo stayed together...coz that's truth, right? on the night while going to Amer, Jo stayed in his tent due to HB's orders... then in Amer they shared the room due to his condition to Jo... and the stormy night, Ruku already knows...so?? so cunning he was , that he told Ruku, only what he wanted to tell, and let her burn in jealousy...a Real master player who knows how to handle every woman in his life...

5...the lover of his darling mirchi...who can't see his begum suffer...coz he knows that how much she will suffer, the pain will be in his heart...and so he relieves his Jaan from suffering further by telling her the real truth of he night... but in his own way...even in that situation he don't leave the chance to tease her and to enjoy her frown...his smile says it all...but even while teasing her, he doesn't forget to warn her, that being a Shehenshah and her husband, he doesn't need to think abt time or place to come to her or claim her...but after that warning , he even takes care that he will reinstate the trust for him in her heart, and so he even assures her that their relationship will only progress when she will give her consent...and with that he takes her leave for the day, with complete peace in his heart, that his mirchi will not hate him anymore...have u seen the love and affection on his face while teasing her???

and poor Jo...after her impossible hubby leaves her in confused state, she is lost abt which is real Jalal, coz right from Amer to Agra , she has seen so many of his faces, that she is not able to understand the true face of him which is totally opposite of his image in her mind , that of The Jallad...no wonder, Jalal gets treat next day from his sweet mirchi, when her confusion is cleared...

but the one and final masterstroke was from MEA Hameeda Banu...she must have guessed all this , right in Amer , and sent message to Chisti baba, so his message can be delivered right on time...when Maham is fuming to underestimate HB, I wished to tell her that this is difference btw two of u...HB is born ruler, while Maham started ruling after Jalal came to power... this is difference btw a queen mother, and a woman who is titled as mother only coz king favors her... a real queenmother borns a future king , and will never be happy with the powers she is given by that king after coming to power... coz a real queen mother will always hold the ultimate power over king and his kingdom, whether he or anybody else wants it or not...

I think this post deserves a 100 likes. It one of your best posts ever. Like a chess grandmaster you have analysed each and every scene in exquisite detail and then given a gist of it in 5 descriptive points. My take on this wonderful post-

1 The Atalik take on the situation. Totally agree with you, a ruler by proxy is still all powerful.

2 The argument that it is all a ploy to unseat him is logical. Since the news came from Amer and would have been a closely gaurded secret, only a person close to him could have leaked the news. The list of suspects is short and includes Maham, Adham and Sharif.

3 I think this Rahim idea was just a delaying tactic, no way he could be made a Mughal Emperor, he is not of royal blood. Mirza Hakim has a much better claim on the throne.

4 Jala intensity dislikes Ruqu or even Maham's intrusion in his private affairs, hence the reply.

5 The Jalal Jodha scene was beautiful. Jalal explaining away her fears and Jodha regaining trust in her husband.

I think devious people often misread good people's decency for a lack of intelligence and it often leads to their downfall.

abt ur point no 3.. that Rahim is not royal blood..but what's need of it when Jalal can always dethrone him any time with his power and strength... and abt Mirza, then he can never be Jalal's choice, coz making mirza sit on throne, means giving Mallika E Azam's powers to Mahachuchak begum who hates Jalal and will definitely use those powers against Jalal and Jalal knows her so well...so that will never be an option...

and ur point 2, that I think that time for him the suspect was mainly Maham, coz she was the one who confronted him in Amer after he returned from the temple..

jalal activeness or awreness shown, he wants to know how this news reached ulama's or Moulvaies. but , imp was this , when sharrif said two ways, jodha will accept islam +or she will leave Agra,;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;which reaction or experssion gave jalal, that was concern for jodha, or he not liked sharrif these words, his standing posture was showing that, but he avoid this or told Atgha, investgate this Matter.

Maham and Ruq come there to pressurize Jodha to convert. Maham is in her own world and says she had told Jodha not to take Jalal to temple. Jodha replies that she had not asked Jalal and he went on his own free will. Does Maham being Badi Ammi not know Jalal? 😕🤓. Next Ruq gives a long forceful lecture and brings in shaadi rituals (😕 no where does it say that Jodha has to change her religion, again a wrong point by CVs). Jodha stays firm and tells her she respects Jalal's religion. Jalal enters and Ruq in her hyper excitement tells him that they were trying to pressurize her to convert, thinking that Jalal would be happy and reward her😆😆, bachpan ki dost never understood the friend 😔. Jalal tells her that his promise is to be upheld and no one will force Jodha to convert, shocking both Maham and Ruq!😆😆 Jodha tells that she will abide by Ammijan's decision.

Hamida is happy that Jodha regards her highly and tells that Jodha be allowed to follow her religion. Shocked Maham and Ruq😆😆😆

In the diwan e khas, Jalal tells all that he had promised Jodha before marriage to allow her to follow her faith and he cannot go back on his words. He tells the ulemas for this he is ready to leave the throne which Rahim shall inherit.

Jodha tells that she gave the right to decide to Mallika e azam and will abide by it. Hamida announces that Jodha shall convert. This shocks both Jalal and Jodha who gets tearful. Jodha is made to kneel down and here Paridhi was fabulous with her expressions. ⭐️

Happy Maham+Ruq and the ulemas who start the ritual. Just then the messenger of Salim Chisti comes and the ritual is stopped. The message is beautiful taking the example of birds to describe freedom and free will.👏👏 Jodha forceful conversion is hence stopped as the ulemas agree that no one knows about Islam better than Salim Chisti. Jodha is relieved and Hamida then tells her she did this to buy time as she had already sent message to Salim Chisti. He made another prophecy about Jalal getting his heir once he understands Mohabbat but CVs totally ruined this thought later on😡

Shocked Maham and Ruq😆😆😆

I think it was shocking Maham+Ruq episode😆😆😆 Throughout the epi they undergo just that😆

Jodha's her faith in Kanha is restored.

Jalal and Jodha scene was wonderful. Jodha senses he came to meet so that she will thank him but she is broken over the non consent. She tells him so without mincing any words😆 Jalal simply smiles and then reveals her the truth of having used the black cloth to warm up her body and not give body heat🤣. ( The CVs need a wack on their heads, they had shown so many fur clothes and blankets then why the damn black cloth?😆) Jodha is relieved to know the promise isnt broken and she is chaste😳 . This angers Jodha as to why he didnt tell her before? 😆 at Jalal replies she had already concluded so he didnt want to reveal it. Jodha now asks him then why is he revealing now, at this Jalal retort is " hum itne zaalim nahi ki apni begum ko sataye/tadpaye"😆😆 ( Oh yeah Jalal, accept it you love teasing her, infact he did say in Amer that aapko satane mei joh maza hai woh 1000 jung jitne mei bhi nahi😆😆😆)

Later, Jodha famous arti hey murlidhar and her faith in Kanha and Jalal doing namaz is beautiful.

Ruq storms to meet Jalal and her query is on spending night with Jodha😕 Didnt Ruq say it does not matter to her and that once Jalal sleeps with her, he would discard her?😕 inconsistency of character. Ruq was tearful here but Jalal was smirking ( Rajat's expression were good).

Tom the lunch date😳 Jodha first time preparing food by choice for Jalal and her way of thanking Jalal for his support. The excellent chemistry of the two leads on display.

Earlier when you described the scene when Ruqaiya was putting pressure on Jodha, you said it right, will Ruqu do the same if she had to do the same, most unlikely. Hamida and Jalal support for Jodha was so important for her and nice to watch. It is in times of trouble that you know who your real well wishers are.
