CHAPTER 5

In the meeting room, a big project presentation was going on and two most important people of the company i.e the CEO and the CHAIRMAN of the company were in their own world. One was curious, other was worried. Somehow the meeting took the whole day and it got over after 5 to 6 hours, but before leaving the meeting, Jalal closed the deal and went from there. Abdul was also growing impatient. He went behind Jalal and asked

ABDUL: - Then... (Jalal felt wired with this question. He repeated)

JALAL: - Then... What????

ABDUL: - Whose wallet was it?????

JALAL: - Ahh... that I will tell you later, when time comes. Now I have to go home. I can't leave Jodha for a long time alone.

ABDUL: - But...but... (Till that time Jalal had entered the lift and went from there. Abdul to himself) Arrre, now I have to wait till tomorrow morning. (He went and sat in his car with a sad and tensed face as he has to wait the whole night and next morning till he meets Jalal.)

Jalal was driving on highest speed he had in the speed indicator so that he can reach home soon. His car stood at the entrance of the house. He parked his car and was going inside. While going in, he was just praying that Jodha is good. She is not hurt or insulted today. He went inside slowly. He saw the hall was empty and silent. He was really scared of this silence. He was about to go inside the kitchen, when he heard something. He could not understand what it was. He went towards the stares from where the sound was coming. When he went near, he could hear someone sobbing. With no doubt he knew it was His Jodha.

He went more near and saw her underneath the stares and had a photo in her hand. Jalal saw the photo and he recognized her. It was Jodha's mother. She spoke to her mother's photo.

JODHA: - Where are you Maa???? Why you left me alone and went????? I'm feeling scared here Maa. Please tell God to take me away from here. (Jalal got tears in his eyes with the confession.) You know, HE doesn't recognize me. He tells I am between him and Rukaiya, but you know everything naa. Please go n tell him. He doesn't believe me.

Jalal just went away from there without turning back. He went in his room, closed the door behind him and he just cried, only cried. He wanted to kill himself for what he did to her, but he was in a very different situation and the circumstances were not in their favor. He said with tears in his eyes.

JALAL: - I am sorry my love. I had to do this, otherwise I would have lost you and I can't do that. I promise you, I will not leave anyone who has hurt you. Just give me some time dear. Just give me some time. (And he slept there itself)

Next day morning, Jalal got up and went before he sees Jodha, otherwise he would have gone week there, but before coming he told Annie to be with her. He had informed Abdul to come to office early. He went straight to his office and after a while Abdul reached. He asked him curiously.

ABDUL: - What happened????? Why you called me so early?????

JALAL: - I have no time to waste. I have hired some detectives. They will come now. (They came after about 10 minutes. They sat and asked)

DETECTIVE: - Sir, we will come straight to the point. What can we do for you????? (Jalal threw some photos to him and said.)

JALAL: - I want all information about these people. (The detective took those photos and saw. It was Rukaiya, Bharmal, Nafisa, Maham Anga and Adham. He said)

DETECTIVE: - Sir I know these people as some top rich and famous people, but what do you want to know????

JALAL: - THEIR WEEKNESS.

The detective had an evil smile on his face. He understood what Jalal wanted. He said

DETECTIVE: - Ok sir, as you say, but I need some time. You know how it works.

JALAL: - Ok. But I want it as fast as possible.

DETECTIVE: - ok sir. I will try my level best.

After a short conversation, the detective went away for his work. Abdul in all this was clueless. He asked him.

ABDUL: - What is going on Jalal???? First you didn't tell me the whole story and today you hired this detective for a job which is beyond my brain. Can you just explain me???? (Jalal could see the curiosity on his face to know the story. So he continues)

JALAL: - Where did I stop?????

ABDUL: - The Green Room

JALAL: - ok fine. I knew Bharmal, but the girl who was with him was not Jodha. I felt something wrong. So I asked a spot boy on the set about the purse, then he told me that it was Rukaiya's. I stared collecting information about her as she was my only source to reach Jodha. After some days, I meet her in a mall like a genuine incident but I had known her schedule so I could do my job. Then slowly I had to act like I am totally in love with her. But in that course of time, I got her address and without wasting any time I went there.

ABDUL: - Then...

JALAL: - I went to the back side of the house and I saw my Jodha. She was so fragile and beautiful and innocent. She was cleaning utensils. I just wanted to go in and hug her tightly and cover her in my arms (hots tears were flowing from his eyes) But when I was about to go in Rukaiya came there. They had a small conversation and in that she slapped my Jodha. (Now he was angry) I wanted to kill her that moment itself but I knew that I want her to reach till Jodha. So I let her go and started my job i.e to get Jodha back. (Then looking towards Abdul) Can you imagine????? I had a relationship with that woman for 3 years. In that course of time, I also collected a lot of information.

ABDUL: - OMG!!!! Jalal, Jodha, how did she survive????? I am shocked.

JALAL: - May be my prayers have worked and HE (Pointing up) just listens to me. You know, when I saw her on that day when we got married. I wanted to kill that old lady for making my Jodha wear an old saree, but don't worry. I was forced to be quite because Jodha was in their hands but now THE BALL IS IN MY COURT. I WILL MAKE SURE THAT THIS WILL BE THEIR LAST MISTAKE OF THEIR LIFE.
