CHAPTER 6

It has been two months since that day, Jalal has kept the detectives busy on his mission but still he was not getting any information regarding them anything which can bend them down to his Jodha's knees, but nothing was in his favor. In meanwhile to top it all, Rukaiya and Nafisa went to London for Rukaiya's photoshoot for about 2 months and Maham went to meet Adham in New York for a month as Jalal's New York Business was handled by him. He was all alone in India and he could not do anything except making a plan and collecting information. In this course of time, Jodha adjusted to the new environment, she tried her level best not to sadden anybody but still everyday she used to get some taunts and scolding from Maham.

Once in a Saturday evening, Abdul came to meet Jalal at home due to some important work had to be done about some international project. He entered the house and he was about to go inside office when he saw a girl was cleaning the dining table. She was looking very simple and innocent. He understood who it was.

ABDUL: - JODHA!!!! (She turned behind and saw a man. She came towards him and wondered how he knew her. She asked him)

JODHA: - Who are you and how do you know me???? (Abdul couldn't say anything. He thought he has stuck. He said)

ABDUL: - Ma...Ma...Maham Anga told me about you. (Jodha got convinced with the answer. Abdul asked her.) Where is Jalal?????

JODHA: - Sir is there (Pointing towards the study room)

Abdul felt bad that she had to call Jalal "SIR". But he said thank you and went from there. Abdul felt very disturbed. He stormed inside the office and asked Jalal.

ABDUL: - Till how many days you will continue this???? Can't you see her pain in her eyes???? How cruel of you Jalal and she call you "SIR". Does any wife calls her husband "SIR"????

Jalal could understand what he was saying. He said

JALAL: - Did you meet her?????

ABDUL: - Yes and I saw her. She is so innocent and simple. How can you say those things to her in past Jalal???? (Now Jalal had enough of this. he got up from his chair and said)

JALAL: - Enough Abdul, I have heard enough. What do you think it was easy for me to tell those things to her???? Do you think I felt very nice when Maham Anga shouts at her??? No Abdul No. I am just waiting for the right time to show those bas***ds that what they are. I want my Jodha to leave a happy life with me not in that stupid place and for that I can hurt anybody who hurts her. IS THAT CLEAR???? (And he turned towards Abdul to say something but before he saw the worst shock of his life. JODHA WAS STANDING AT THE ENTARENCE OF THE STUDY WITH THE TRAY OF TEA. She had tears in her eyes, other side Jalal was frozen. He wanted to just disappear from there. Abdul saw Jalal's face and turned and he was double shock to see Jodha there, but he was also happy somewhere because she knew now about everything. Abdul just took his files and went from there without any noise and left both tortured souls to mend them. Jodha comes in and keeps the tray on table. While coming in her eyes were fixed on tensed Jalal. Jodha went near him and asked him in pain.

JODHA: - Are you still my Raj Kumar???? (Jalal got more shocked by this question. He looked other ay and said)

JALAL: - Go to kitchen. I have some work. (Now Jodha knew he was lying. Even in childhood he used to do the same when he is lying.)

JODHA: - Tell me are you my Raj Kumar???? (Jalal just took his laptop and was about to go from there when his leg was caught with a soft but firm hands. He knew it was his Jodha. But he tried to ignore.)

JALAL: - Leave me Jodha.

JODHA: - No, tell me that you are my Raj Kumar.

JALAL: - What are you doing????? Leave my legs.

JODHA: - No, I want. Tell me that you were lying all these days. (Jalal was not able to tell her anything. For a second he felt weak, but from where he got some strength and with full force he pulled his leg and went to his room with all his energy he had in him.)

Jodha was pushed little behind but she got up fast and went behind him. She followed him but he was too fast for her. She was determine to get an answer. She was about to catch him before he enters his room when he slammed the door and Jodha's fingers got stuck between the door and she let a painful scream which was enough for Jalal to go mad. He opened the door and saw her hands went totally red and she was not able to touch it. It was very painful for her. He saw tears flowing from her eyes and even he could not control his tears. He went near her took her inside the room and made her sit on the bed.

JALAL: - Why do you do this to yourself??????? Why can't you keep quiet and stay away from troubles??? See you have hurt yourself. Show me now. (He took her hand slowly and saw. It was fully swollen fingers. Again his eyes teared up, but Jodha just saw him and asked)

JODHA: - You are my Raj Kumar naa???? (Jalal looked at her with a shock. He couldn't believe it. Even after hurting herself she wanted to know the truth. He was about to go and get medicine to apply, but she pulled him and said) I have missed you very badly all these years, but still you want to go away from me then go. I want stop you but just tell me that you are my Raj Kumar, please??? (And he could not control himself anymore. He turned to her and pulled her in a tight, cozy and warm hug. Jodha also reciprocated back with equal amount of affection. Both were lost in each other. They just wanted to be in each other's arms. After so many years, finally the wait was over. Jalal was relishing the moment as well as Jodha. He broke the hug and cupped her face and said)

JALAL: - Yes, I am your Raj Kumar. (Jodha was just over delighted with his answer, but again her face got dull and she asked)

JODHA: - Then why were you acting these 2 months with me???? Do you know how much it hurts to see you with Rukaiya?

JALAL: - I am so sorry baby, but what to do she was the only source to reach you. I had no other option other than this. (Jodha got confused. He understood that and told her everything. She got happy that Jalal loved her so much but she was also sad and shock that Jalal had to go through so much.)

JODHA: - I am so sorry Jalal; because of me what all you had to do?????

JALAL: - Anything for you baby. But one thing, I will make their life hell. They have to know that to hurt you mean to her me and hurting me is never a good option. (Jodha got scared she said)

JODHA: - No Jalal, don't hurt them otherwise they will hurt you and I can't tolerate that.

JALAL: - No Jodha they won't. I am not so weak that they will hurt me and moreover I have been separated you for many years. Now I can't go away from you and I promise, today will be the last day that you are crying. I won't allow your pearls to flow so easily. (Jodha couldn't control herself and hugged him again. After a while they got parted and he took her face in his palms and kissed her forehead, then her eyes and finally the moment. He kissed her petals softly then took her upper lip and sucked it. Jodha was shocked with this gesture of his. She was feeling butterflies in her stomach and didn't know what to do. Jalal being a good teacher guided her and she also started responding to his kiss. After some time, they broke the kiss. Jalal was still dreamy about his first kiss with his first and last lady love. Other side condition was also the same. She had her eyes still closed; she touched her lips and felt his touch on it. She opened her eyes and saw him. He was just staring at her innocent face and had a content smile on it. She couldn't meet her eyes and just ran from there.
